Starting point is 00:00:00 You look like you love me. And no, I'm not particularly talking to you. I'm talking about the Ella Langley and Riley Green hit track that's currently the 36 most play track in the world. Now, along with that, it debuted at number nine on TikTok Billboard, Top 50, when it came out June 21st, 2020. and also jumped to number five and that is when it started to get some traction
Starting point is 00:00:40 on the overall billboard charts because if you don't know in my humble opinion the billboard charts is what really matters especially when it comes to R IAA certification especially when you want to get
Starting point is 00:00:56 a gold platinum and diamond record so that being said this country track is out of here. Safe to say that Ella Langley is very gracious and very appreciative of this opportunity to have a smash hit. Because if you don't know, this particular track is Ella Langley's first entry into the billboards and to the billboard charts.
Starting point is 00:01:30 But as far as Riley Green, it's his fifth. So as far as the more experienced artists on the Billboard charts, let's get into him a little bit. As Riley Green is an American country music singer and songwriter known for his debut album, different around here. I ain't a lot, that's a fire album type. Different round here. That's funny. Released in 2019, he has charted several hits on the Billboard hot country songs and country airplay charts including there was this girl and i wish grandpas never died m m m green was named the academy of country music's 2020 new male artist of the year and he also released the second album ain't my last rodeo in twenty twenty three you know what listening
Starting point is 00:02:39 the country a little bit more because of course cowboy carter and the shibuzzi album i don't know what i don't know why i just completely forgot the shibuzzi album title give me a second because i can't do that that's just disrespectful so the shibuzzi album where i've been isn't where i'm going that's probably why i forgot the album title like that's too long like who who makes the album title that long like you see how riley green was like different round here a nice little little statement not too long but let you know he means business where i've been isn't where i'm going but what i want to go is where i've already been like all that long extra words using for the album title like ain't nobody nobody got time for that my brother shorten that up anyways that's one of my favorite
Starting point is 00:03:26 albums of the year maybe my favorite album of the year that's why i'm joking on it like i am because shibuzzi anyways this is about ella langley and riley green let me not get off on a side tangent so of course It's more of a romantic song from two different perspectives. Ella Langley's perspective is talking about the connection with a man in a bar and Riley Green's perspective as talking about being approached. And the duet, of course, harmonizes the stories into a playful country anthem. And boy, is it a country anthem because even looking at the, even looking at the extended predictions as far as billboard charts, seems like it's going to have a strong hold
Starting point is 00:04:09 as it's going to be the 35th most played track in the world. Now, Eminem is dropping. I don't want to rain on nobody's parade, but that means everybody's charts or tracking is going to go down tremendously because some track has to get pushed down for Eminem's tracks to go into the top 50. So unfortunately, I don't know how long they're going to have the 36 or 35th most played song in the world
Starting point is 00:04:35 as far as the projections. I would assume it would go more into the, the 40th to 50 range. I'm just giving ranges because I don't know how many tracks for Eminem's album is going to chart, but also want to put it into the perspective of how every
Starting point is 00:04:52 artist is competing with every genre. It doesn't matter what genre you make. Everybody is competing for one of those slots on the Billboard charts. And if you're not, then you probably wouldn't even be in the marketing game in the first place as far as having a major label and putting this out
Starting point is 00:05:08 under and with an artist that's already been on the charts multiple times. So obviously they want some type of appeal, which is okay, of course, I'm just pointing it out. As far as live performances, Morgan Wallen's Hyde Park show in London, I think they showed up to. Yeah, Ella Langley and Riley Green performed You Look Like You Love Me Together at that show. And the audience had a great response and basically sang along to the entire show into the entire song. which led four weeks It was about four weeks ago
Starting point is 00:05:45 It led to Ella Langley announcing The Hungover Tour And as you can see right here It doesn't start to August 15th in St. Louis, Missouri And then it's going to go to I don't know what that is Is that United States? Oh, that's Illinois Oh, it's like, I was like, what is that?
Starting point is 00:06:07 I can't read. As you can see Jackson, Tennessee See another one, Nashville, Tennessee and then Texas is on here Fort Smith, Arkansas You all know why that just took me off You know, that was
Starting point is 00:06:23 That was random And that's like one of the earlier days Yeah, that's happening September 13th So if you're in Fort Smith, Arkansas Just know September 13th Yeah, she's coming To perform one of her smash hits, man
Starting point is 00:06:41 So that's very interesting that just that was crazy you don't really see too many of that on the tour listing but anyways um okay what was it what else i was talking about that's basically i don't want to go on too long about this track i mean it's successful is impacting the masses and it's dream like analytics that both of them are putting up especially together seems like it's more of a concept type of track where she's giving her perspective he's given his and then they get into a duality of the too so overall i haven't listened to the track of course but as far as what the concept is and what it's about seems like a pretty interesting concept which means well which um makes it
Starting point is 00:07:28 unsurprising that it had this much success and especially on ticot because if you know anything about ticot let's just say certain type of tracks they they gain traction no pun intended So that was basically it. With that being said, click my link to share in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. Will you be going to the hungover tour show on one of these dates? Because it's going from, let me see right here. It's going from August 15th all the way to November.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I can't even tell what that is. Is that an eight? I think that's an eight. November 8th. So yeah, August 15th to November 8th, you can catch these people on tour. They're going to be fluctuating from Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Yeah, she definitely knows her demographic. So anyways, click my link to me my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about Ella Langley and Riley Green's track? You look like you love me. and also which date specifically will you be going to?
