Starting point is 00:00:00 I blame everybody who keeps saying or was saying previously because you don't really see too many comments like that anymore. But the people who were saying, I cannot believe that Twitter is free. Because guess what? Elon Musk took over and now not only does he attend to make it a monthly subscription type platform, but he's also implementing certain things behind a paywall. to premium to subscribers right so he's going to keep implementing certain things that makes people more entice to pay for twitter before ultimately look moving to a subscription model so enjoy twitter for free why it lasts because it's not going to last too long but besides that elin musk now plans
Starting point is 00:00:54 to remove likes and comments from the x home page but we're not even talking about that right because that's Kanye West type B. He been said that about like Instagram. Why his likes on there is only meant to make people more depressed and compare, which, you know, he really does have a point with that, honestly. That's why I think Instagram made it a feature to where you can turn off your likes, which I think that's the most, for people who can't get off the internet, I think that's the most, that's a mental health type of change to the platform. I know y'all going to think, oh, what you mean, mental health? I'm being so serious. Some people, comparisons like the thief of joy, right? Not like, comparison is the thief of joy.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Look at somebody who has like a bunch of likes and you don't have as many likes, you'll think that person's better than you when all actuality is just a social media platform. It doesn't affect real life. So with that being said, um, X also, which is what this segment is about, is working on new features related to gaming, which is why I'm covering this, including gaming or game streaming. So Elon Musk has started tests on X, formerly known as. Twitter. I love how they have that tag. Streaming service with Diablo 4. So PS5 Xbox
Starting point is 00:02:06 Series X and S will be able to stream to X, providing a new way for influencers and users to broadcast live from their gaming machines. The release date for this feature, of course, is uncertain. Probably will be behind the paywall. Well, most likely would definitely be behind the paywall. But the target for this, right, the goal of this is so that other streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube will have a competitor. So people who stream on Twitch and YouTube will more than likely come to Twitter to stream other than Twitch and YouTube. That is Elon Musk's ultimate goal. So at that, he has ambitions to transform X into an everything app similar to China's WeChat incorporating various functions and services.
Starting point is 00:02:59 X has already obtained money transmitting, licensing, and multiple U.S. states. So he's trying to turn X into like a cash app to where you could put your money into in and out of it. And I don't know if he wants to turn it into some type of investing platform, but hey, I'm just letting y'all know what I've been reading on a different, well, a plethora of articles. So best believe this is not coming from an uninformed place. So let's keep going. X's CEO, Linda Yacarino, I think, Yacarrio, I don't know, I don't know, I say that.
Starting point is 00:03:29 envisions it as a platform for ultimate interactivity centered around audio, video, messaging, payments, and banking powered by AI. So when they're talking about in everything app, they really mean everything, which is why they try to change, well, not try, they changed the name from Twitter to X because they wanted to and captivate everything. But that being said, Twitter did have a video streaming feature called Periscope, but it was shutdown in March 2021 and Elon Musk briefly tested out the dormant periscope feature in May 2023 with low quality resolution. So basically the release date for this feature of X is still in the
Starting point is 00:04:12 works and Elon Musk is still testing out stuff, which is why he was streaming himself doing Diablo, playing Diablo 4 amongst other things. So at the end of the day, this man is still messing around with the X app and there's a reason for it because if you look at it it's a very very important app in today's society when it comes to news right i believe news breaks the fastest on x every time i mean i have notifications on all social media well not all but like most of the important ones and for X news comes to me way faster than any other platform so it makes sense why he's doing this and why he's going into a monthly subscription model do i like it as a consumer of course not but I can see why he's making these changes.
Starting point is 00:04:56 And for my gamers out there, just know or get ready for X to eventually have a feature related to YouTube or Twitch when it comes to game streaming. That being said, click my link to you and my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about Elon Musk, completely taking over Twitter,
Starting point is 00:05:14 changing it to X, changing it to a money transmitting platform, changing it to a live streaming platform. What do you think of it trying to, or him trying to change it into an everything app quote unquote and do you agree with Elon Musk's strategy for X formerly known as Twitter
