My favorite hip hop rapper of all time.
Well, one of my favorite hip hop rappers.
As in this game, I have made it clear that this particular artist is one of my favorite hip hop rappers I've ever listened to.
So with that being said, give it up a big shot, ladies and gentlemen.
I mean, 2024 could not have went worse as far as a marketing rollout.
for your album you try to put out precision which is your first single for your upcoming album and guess what
Kendrick just stepped all over that i'm talking to like that feature i'm talking about the greatest
rap beef of all time and then to double back and do a concert basically capitalizing off of the
pedophile anthem that he has charting in the top 10 right now in the world and big shan just
over here like i was just trying to roll out my album i know y'all remember that persistently that
track from Big Sean well you probably don't at this point because the greatest rap beef of all
time happened so with that being said I'm glad to see he's made a resurgence even though
I know people are going to say he was on some track in a pass that he was rapping crazy
but that whole track was like terrible that chorus I don't know um yeah the track was titled
shut up with Jesse Reyes I'm not gonna lie to you if I'm big
Sean and I would have heard that song in its entirety, I would have took off my verse and
used it for another song because that song is just completely terrible. Fantastic,
phenomenal verse from Big Shine. But that overall song by Jesse Reyes is just terrible.
All right. So now let's focus on a great white hope of hip hop, right? Eminem.
Eminem has a new single titled Toby featuring Big Sean and Babytron. Y'all have a
to let me know who in the world is baby trine because i don't know who that is right so this track
is the second single to lead up to his album the death of slim shady now why is this a big deal
simply for the fact that on july 12th this album will be releasing so this is mn mn mn ms first no 12th
studio album which means he's beyond ancient in this game we call hip-hop and also
It will be a follow up to the 2020 album,
music to be murdered by.
So music to be murdered by was released in 2020.
So this is the follow up to that album.
And this is his first collaboration with BabyTron.
Of course, since Big Shahn's one of the greatest rappers of all time,
this is Eminem's fourth collaboration with Big Shon.
And with that being said,
the whole track is fire from a rapping standpoint.
I think it's a masterclass on how to rap and put words together.
But the beat is a little lackluster and the chorus is beyond atrocious.
Now, who is responsible for the chorus?
Unfortunately, it seems like Big Sean is.
Now, when you're a rapper, when you're a rapping rapper, right, like a lyrical,
miracle spiritual type rapper.
Sometimes choruses don't come as natural to you like a melodic
rapper such as like a oozy gunna things of that nature.
People who play around with melodies and sonics more than actual people who focus on
words and how to put words together.
I believe they're better off making choruses or they have a more natural instinct on
how to make a good chorus versus a rapper who's great at putting words together because the chorus
is mainly playing off repetition, sonics, and the overall feeling, right? The verse is more of
introspective get into your bag if people are coming to you to listen to two great rap. So,
of course, from a verse standpoint, I think Eminem killed it. I think Big Sean killed it. I still don't
know who baby tron is don't kill me i just i listened to the track i couldn't even find where he was i
was like dang does him and big sean sound the same like i just i don't know where baby tron is on the track
so with that out the way let's get into the title of the track long time listeners of the podcast
know that i have uh spider-man as one of my favorite all-time fictional creations right so it warm of my
heart once again to see another um honoring of the fictional creation that is spider man in the
track title toby now of course he's playing off of the whole um copycat spider-man meme when like
three spider-mans are pointing at each other but in this case of course instead of spider-man i'll be in
a reference their baby trom big shan and m&m are talking about um they are bit by a goat
yes ladies and gentlemen that's the premise of the track so that is why i said the chorus is not good
because um that's just bad so as far as the rapping um it's just top tier from m&m and big
sean like like once again no disrespect to baby trying i literally don't know who he is and i swear
i couldn't hear him in the track so big sean's verse is phenomenal eminem's verse was phenomenal
masterclass on how to rap and overall i think this would just up
the anticipation for its upcoming album July 12th because if you don't know the album's first single
Houdini is currently the 16th most played track in the world been on our charts for about four
weeks and it peaked at number 12 no no peaked at number two yeah so it peaked at number two
is currently the 16th most played track in the world and it's been on the charts for about four
weeks and as far as the projections it seems like it's moving up to number 11 yeah seems like it's moving up
to a number 11 but i believe these projections are even before they announced a single so i think once they
listen to to toby by big shine and baby tron then maybe it could crack um crack into that top 10
and i want to be surprised if it does that and then also as far as on the album front because of course
music to be murdered by isn't what his fans are going to um
So Curtain Call is currently the 35th most played album in the world.
So as far as Eminem and what his and the album, his fans gravitate towards, safe to say that Curtain Call is the album.
So 35th most played album in the world is Curtain Call, which honestly, I think that album, you know, I'm not the biggest Eminem fan.
Shocking, right?
But let me look at his discography.
Um, let's see curtain call.
This man's been in the game for a minute.
This is insane.
Let me see.
What was this?
When was this first song put out?
2005.
Goodness, this man is old.
That's insane.
I don't see curtain call.
Am I tripping?
This is Eminem Curtain call.
Did they just make their title up?
Curtain call.
Oh, that came out in 2005.
Oh, December 6, 2005.
This man is ancient.
But anyways.
all right so enough of clowning eminem about his age let's get back into the uh oh yeah so okay
basically i said that because an album that's that came out 2005 is the 35th most place album in the
world in 2024 crazy ain't it so anyways um another thing is that m&m is
sh sh shh shh almost oh yeah he released a horror theme trailer a
announcing the album's release date i don't know if it was on his instagram obviously i don't follow
em and them like that i think is this one right here yeah this is what it is so he just put this out
like 23 hours ago um as of me recording this and basically talking about the death of slim shady
the release date that looks pretty graphic so we're going to get out of there um and then you know
i found i find i think it's very interesting um um
Eminem takes shots at Megan the Stallion literally and uh well not literally but you know verbally
and nobody says anything so that's funny but you know hey we just gonna keep going so Eminem
um initially teased the album after his appearance at the 2024 NFL draft and Detroit
and Dr. Dre revealed details about the album during late night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel live
and then some more info about the album is that the track toby of course features a spider-man meme and his artwork and then the song includes references from star wars and showcases how each rapper takes pride in them being from Detroit so with that being said hopefully m&m doesn't take any more shots at a black woman on this album but i mean if he does it ain't no backlash so i got
guess he could do what he wants so anyways click my link tree my bio let me know one of my
social media's what do you think about m&m's track toby featuring big Sean and baby
tron and do you think is fire or trash
