Hey, what's going on, Marshall?
David, what up, man?
Yo, listen, I need your help or something.
Yeah, whatever you need.
Well, first of all, I just want to say,
you know you're the greatest to ever do it, right?
We should do something together one time.
So what I was wondering is, like,
how far can we go with this magic?
Like, can we do, like, a stun or something?
You mean something like this?
Excuse me, I just need this?
Well, for my last trick, I'm gonna make my career disappear.
Wait, what?
All right, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But basically, that was a marketing video put out by M&M and his team, basically talking about magic and how he's going to make his
career disappear. And of course, with Eminem and covering his music is interesting because the previous
versions of notorious mass effect, there was one time where I covered music to be murdered by
and I had glowing reviews. And then when a deluxe edition came out, I didn't really have the most
positive things to say about the deluxe edition.
And seemingly from then,
that podcast
ended up being taken down.
Now, of course, I'm not saying
Eminem did it, but I'm just saying
the first copyright email
I've ever got from a major label
was music to be murdered by
the deluxe edition.
Now, I'm just going to throw that out there.
So anyways, when getting into this album,
keeping the objective
his upcoming album
the death of Slim Shady
is obviously playing off some
nostalgia-like features
and if you want to know who is in the video
apparently
I think it was Steve Miller
maybe I'm tripping
but the
sample is from the melody
of Steve Miller's bands
abracadabra and so
maybe that's not the same person
anyways
Eminem
has a lot of double triple entendres throughout this verse and is apparent that he is one of the
best lyricists to have a touch mic so whenever you're getting into the replayability in the sonics
of listening to m and m that's what i'll base is off of and i would say it's not the greatest
as far as listening to an m&m the replayability factor when it comes to different environments is just not there
Like for certain demographics, I feel like Eminem is the MVP, the best rapper ever, the only one who could ever rap at a certain level, which is top tier.
But for the masses, I think we all know that Eminem's rap style is, and let me say this is an understatement, an acquired taste.
so of course he could put words together but is it enjoyable and as far as sonically is it easily
replayable as far as in different environments and that's why i'm always stuck when i start ranking
where i put um m&m as far as all time so anyways some of the other controversy surrounding
this new song out now which is titled houdini is
The fact that he said, Megan the Stallion, oh, wait, hold on, let me bring this up.
He said, Megan the Stallion's name.
And more specifically, as you can see right here, if not, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But basically, he said, was it not right here?
I had it and then it went away.
Oh, here we go.
Okay.
If I was to ever take a leave, it would be aspiring to take, to break a fieve?
What in the world?
It would be a...
Yeah, Spirrimor, right?
I don't know if that's...
Hold up. Give me one second.
I don't even know how you click this.
Let's just...
Ah, there we go.
There we go.
Okay.
All right.
And then...
Ever take a leave?
What?
It would be a spur.
So even a robot had trouble.
I don't know what that is.
So anyways, if I was to ask for Megan
the what?
stallion if she would collab with me would i really have a shot at a feat i don't know but i'm glad to be back
like and then it goes into the chorus so basically i thought that was a great play on words i like
the shot at feet basically talking about how he will want a shot at a feature but of course um
being a man and saying that type of bar is very insensitive especially with
with the whole ditty case going on nowadays with the whole domestic violence and alleged, you know,
things that went on in that scenario.
But a lot of women came out basically to speak on Megan's behalf, saying that M&M is so hateful
and weird to women, always throwing shots at females, but I've never seen him go toe to toe with a man.
I don't know if these fans ever listen to Eminem, but that is beyond false.
but anyways um so i just read that off just to let y'all know how some people are feeling
as far as you know women um with m&m you know playing off of a very traumatic experience
with making nostalgia they wasn't really having it and one other person came out and just said i just
wanted to know why m&m felt the need to use megan as collateral damage and his new washed up
single goodness and you know a lot of people trying to say it's huge
You know, there's a lot of responses saying, oh, it's a joke, chill out.
And then, you know, of course, the women came back and they were saying, obviously women's not a monolith.
But, you know, I'm just speaking of one of the women in this instance.
She responded saying, I'm really failing to see the humor in a black woman being shot.
It's really irritating seeing black women's trauma continue to be used as a punching bag.
She preaching, ain't she?
But anyways, like I said, when I cover the Diddy case, you would come to realize not too many people care about the whole Cassie situation.
Matter of fact, I've seen premier high-level lawyers come out and say the only reason that video came out was because Cassie was trying to cover herself up from being accused of certain charges when it came to being a co-conspirator.
I have it at where it goes as far as for helping Diddy and his crimes.
So that video was to come out to make her look like a victim.
I've seen real established, I figure what they call him.
I mean, basically lawyers come out and there was one lawyer in specific, but I want to get,
you know, I don't want to shout him out.
But basically, when I say people don't care, I really do mean it.
And obviously, you know, personally, I care.
But it's like, it's only so many times you can say it until you realize, oh, people don't care.
So now I'm going to start calling out people and just putting it out in the public that people do not care as much as you think they should.
And that's why you should speak up on these opportunities when they come and whenever it presents itself.
Because obviously, more people need to hear this message about not making fun of certain women trauma.
So at the end of day, don't you just love a fun topic of covering M&M?
you know for the foreseeable future every time i talk about em and them it's going to be that type of
uh energy because uh i'm not going to say it's a charlemagne j z or a windy williams
ditty type of situation if you don't know what the whole windy williams and ditty situation
you know she basically was the first one to point out the eccentric uh eccentric
activity from Diddy and, you know, in his, uh,
blamboyant actions. And she basically got fired because of it,
because of it.
Charlemagne has something that happened where he said something about Jay Z and
Jay Z got him fired because of it. That's why I started the segment off the way I did because
I just want you all to know the powerful people who rap, who also have a stance in certain
circles when it comes to the higher ups in the industry. You know,
they want to they could really take your platform and do whatever they want with it so that is why when
they do you know you try to find another source to go to because then they have less control over that
which is why i went from you know the spotify own anchor which doesn't even exist anymore and now
Spotify just has his own thing to um red circle where i have more uh creative control if that makes
sense. So forever, you know, I would be objective about M&O's music, but you know, still got to bring
up some things that the people's talking about. And objectively, people want to know why
M&M keeps making humorous jokes about a black woman being shot. I just want to leave you off
with that. So anyways, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. Oh, and by
away the song is garbage i don't even know why at this point he really is going to make his career
disappear like y'all think germane is somebody i go at like this is if he keeps on this type of lane
because i like music to be murdered by obviously not the deluxe edition but i like the original
music to be murdered by but this single is not it and that's the nicest way i could put that
so anyways click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you
think about Eminem's latest single
Houdini and
at the end of the day why do you feel like
Eminem keeps making
certain statements
that's very um
why do you think Eminem keeps making statements
about certain
serious situations and making joke out of them
do you think it's because he's out of touch
or do you think it's no harm no foul
and he's just joking
also do you think this track
is fire or trash.
