Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, this particular track should have came with a warning because at the end of the day, the death of Slim Shady is simply him abandoning his alter ego, Slim Shady, but also acknowledging the impact that Slim Shady had throughout his career since the 1990s, of course. But temporary is such a heartfelt track that I will compare it to a Pixar movie when you get to the scene that's supposed to be a tearjerker because it's honestly a track for all fathers that are very impactful in their kids' lives. because the overall message from M&M offer this track is not of just vibes, right? It's not just good rapping and let's just vibe out to the death of Slim Shady. This particular track is actually a tearjerker, an actual heartfelt, heartwarming track snippets of him and Haley when she was a baby.
Starting point is 00:01:39 that sets up the emotional baggage of the overall content. And if somebody was to tell me that this was the best track off of the album, it would be hard to debate that. It would be a hard standpoint of this track is not the best off of the album. Because even though he does come with his, his offensive and thoughtful lyrics as always questioning his own mental state. Temporary is just a let your guard down track to the point where I'm wondering why he released it to the public.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I feel like temporary highlights his role as a father, but also the inevitable fact that that one day he's going to pass away. So when that comes into play, it seems like one of those Tony Stark type of moments where you save it for maybe after you actually pass away, which is a very morbid sequence of thoughts. But in all actuality, he put it out for the public for them to listen to, and he's still alive to this day.
Starting point is 00:03:15 So with him attempting and successfully creating such a heartfelt track attributed to his daughter, all we can do is just realize that this is one of the greatest tracks Eminem's ever put out. And we're talking about a man who've been putting out music forever. I mean, one of the, if not the, most consistent commercial rapper ever. So this album, while it is a conceptual album criticizing a certain verbious used by his alter ego, Slim Shady, when this particular track comes on about his daughter, hey, all I got to say is okay if you cry like a baby. So with that being said, click my link sharing my bio. Let me know one of my social media is.
Starting point is 00:04:09 What do you think about track 15 off of the death of Slim Shady titled Temporary? And what is your favorite track off of the death of Slim Shady?
