Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "EMINEM - STANS (IN THEATRES AUGUST 7)"

Starting point is 00:00:01 Now when it comes to the great white hope of hip hop, you have to know that the term Stan originated from the 2000 M&M track of the same name. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like what's going to? And the reason why I say that is because literally I might not have been born when this track came out. Actually, let me look up exactly because I was born in 2000. But let me see exactly when this track came out. Eminem. Who is Ditto? Ditto? Is that supposed to be somebody funny? I don't know. I never knew somebody named Ditto was on here. May 23rd, 2000. So I was just January, February, March, April, May. I was three months old when Stan came out by M&L. Ain't that about it. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes I look at the longevity of certain hip-hop artists. I just realized, man. To be respected in the game of hip-hop for so long that even people who weren't even born, you know what I'm saying? Sometimes I look at the longevity of hip- when you had arguably one of your most impactful tracks of all time and to this day to still be covering you because we're going back to the time where you was very highly regarded and then when it comes to this movie because if you don't know a stand movie is coming out and i think tickets are opening up july 24th but of course analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because we will be getting into the trailer and full and for the people who already know about the

Starting point is 00:01:31 podcast as far as long-time listeners, OG listeners, you already know my stance on Eminem and his team. So ultimately, we're just going to cover this as non-biased as you can because, you know, when it comes to building a foundation, if somebody tries to take that away, you can ultimately build again because that foundation is already set. So that being said, there's no music in here, so we should be straight as far as copyright, just in case of teams listening. But in theaters August 7th, Stan seems to be a very fitting name for Eminem's movie.

Starting point is 00:02:09 And now let's get into the trailer right now. The definition of Stan, just in case you was confused. Why did you write the song, Stan? Is Stan based on a real fan? Why do you hear so much about yourself and your music? What the hell goes on in your brain? How does it feel to be followed by so many people? How much fan milled you yet?

Starting point is 00:02:37 How's your daughter? Have you read my letter? What's it like being famous? What's your first question? All right, so, um, as you can see in theaters worldwide, Thursday, August 7th, for a limited time only. I think this is pretty solid. I think more artists need to do this, because if you don't know, when it comes to the box office, and it comes to a lot of movies just horrendously flopping in the box office,

Starting point is 00:03:09 and yes, I do pay attention to the box office. I really don't cover music. I mean, I don't really cover movies and TV shows that often, but I do pay attention to everything when it comes to marketing rollouts. Lilo Stitch is unequivocally the biggest hit for Disney, right? And then you come over to just high quality. Warner Bros. have been on a crazy streak when it comes to F-150. Not F-150. The F-1-W-W-D.

Starting point is 00:03:32 Why don't I say F-150? The F-1 movie comes to sinners. Superman, like, they just had hit after hit after hit. Um, and ultimately all the other franchises have been just doing horrendously. Like I think Thunderboast lost Disney at least $100 million, uh, as far as them trying to recoup off of the budget and what the, uh, promotion budget was. So now you look at a lot of these movies completely flopping from huge conglomerates, such as a Marvel.

Starting point is 00:04:03 Um, I'm trying to think. What was another flop that, oh, Disney again, it was something like Snow White. Something like that. That movie all like horrendously flop. I think the actor was the main actor was out saying some crazy stuff. But anyways, the reason I say that is because people who already have a proof of concept as far as them putting people in seats as far as selling hard tickets,

Starting point is 00:04:25 which, you know, hard tickets means like you selling tickets for people to come out in real life to see you perform. M&M, obviously, is one of the best at doing that. So when it comes to his movie, I think this is a great move by him to maybe get more backing. from either one of those studios because as you can see right here there's a lot of people already backing this right you have entertainment m tv you have diggers studios um i don't recognize any of these other ones i mean amc obviously but you get people to back your releases like this when you already

Starting point is 00:04:57 have a history of proof of concept of selling hard tickets and of course m&m's the great white hope of hip-hop so people are going to showcase and people are going to show up and show out and they're going to say see this is this is my hip hop you know what I'm saying they're going to show up to the movie theaters and enjoy the M&M movie because ultimately Eminem is an icon in the hip hop game and as time goes on you do come to realize a lot of people who have um had out of character actions deeper into their career and those actions are very troubling compared to M&M and him aging very gracefully I might add as far as no lawsuits squeaky clean image or not image but you know I mean you know Eminem cusses and all that but you know as far as what could be happening to him you know that we've seen

Starting point is 00:05:48 with some of our hip-hop grace um seems like Eminem's more of the the same variety you know what I mean his brain sales seem to be intact uh and you know that's that's one of the highest compliments I can give as far as having such longevity and then never losing himself morally and uh character wise So anyways, with that being said, the movie, as you can see right here, bring this back up.
