Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, excuse me if all my biasedness comes out in this specific segment, but we have to get to it as this specific artist is from Arkansas. Drop a bomb for that one. And interestingly enough, I would say the city that he's from from Arkansas, but we don't want to docks myself as far as my upbringings. But let's just say having somebody around that area in Arkansas means that we got to drop another bomb. Drop another bomb for that one. So anyways, getting into my coverage of the one and only Emmanuel Cortez, hopefully I'm saying that right. He is originally from Arkansas and he's a Mexican-American that specializes in Coritos with romantic and a lot of emotional type of lyrics and specifically with the track Amor that we're getting into today that released in 2023. I know what you're saying. Why in the world are we covering?

Starting point is 00:01:07 a covering a track from 2023 well i'm glad you asked as when it comes to ticot still being the undisputed champion when it comes to authentic tools to get your music out to the masses safe to say that is why a more surged again in the big year of 2025 as there was not only the live the live performance momentum as far as uh emmanuel going on certain concerts as far as the June 7th, 2025, Mexico concert. As far as him going to a lot of different festival appearances and also with radio airplay that helps out as well.

Starting point is 00:01:50 And because of TikTok, his followers started to grow 180,000 as far as a lot of people joining his movement because of people making clips to his specific track. So TikTok is once again, one of the most authentic tools to boost your music. And of course, when it comes to his rise in the industry, he has a lot of interesting outings as far as live performances to where when it comes to A Moore being a TikTok sensation,

Starting point is 00:02:22 you combine a TikTok hit with your live performance already conversing into people listening to you on DSPs. But now you have one of the top Latin musicians is for. far as up and coming because of course you have your bad bunnies your night and vegas of the world but when it comes to emmanuel he basically is doing a lot of groundwork whether it's being in being live for people to hear his music and then of course the transitions into them actually listening to him on ds p as his audience is 60 u.s audience and 40% Mexico and of course because this track a more came out 2023 i was wondering if anybody picked him up as far as recently.

Starting point is 00:03:07 And whenever I went to send Vaz, which is his latest release that just came out June 5th, he is under RC Music. Now, I ain't going to lie to you. I don't know what in the world RC Music is. So, of course, I was going to look it up. Let me see. Because I think what RC Music,

Starting point is 00:03:24 I'm trying to actually figure out what this is, because I don't want to just, you know, we don't do fake news over here. But anyways, while I looked it up, the main thing about Emmanuel is he also has, another remix out for this specific track, A-More. And when it comes to the actual remix,

Starting point is 00:03:44 the reason why he chose Santa Fe Klan, hopefully I'm saying their name right, is to amplify the emotional depth as the original song was inspired by Cortez's personal experiences with unrequited love. So anyways, and of course, once again, like I already said, it blew up on TikTok. and when it comes to that, choosing Santa Fe clan was also more of a genre fusion

Starting point is 00:04:12 as Cortez's Coombia-Tumbada roots aligned with what Santa Fe clan was already doing as far as his regional Mexican sounds. And then, of course, he's also a heavy weight when it comes to rap as far as combining it with his Mexican sounds. So now, when you have the quote unquote street rapper adding on to the remix of the track then you can see why he chose him as both artists have already had the own respective fan bases so it's not like a handout to santa fe clan he definitely had um he's definitely one of the more followed mexican rappers in the game so them combining definitely makes sense but anyways getting back into rc records is basically um a guadalar mexico based independent music company

Starting point is 00:05:03 and aspiring record labels specializing in Latin and regional Mexican genres, including Cumbia, Nortino, pop, hip hop, and corridos, inspired sounds. So when it comes to Emmanuel and his latest releases, it is under RC music. So, and it seems like his entire career, he's been under RC music, as I'm going to even his, seems like his first, his first track ever on DSPs that came out, June 22nd, 2022, titled Dymia, and that came out. Oh, no, actually, that was under him. So he was completely independent when he put that out.

Starting point is 00:05:43 So from June 22nd to, let me see, I'm trying to see how long was he independent. I want to say to 2022 to 2023, maybe that's when he stopped being independent. Because even Porfavor, that's under Emmanuel Cortez. And then 2024, his first track, FFL, but no, that's with another artist. So you never know how that goes. Let me see one that's under him. I put it all this time into it because, of course, he's from Arkansas. You know he got to show respects.

Starting point is 00:06:17 So let me see. Mommy. Pulse. Oh, I guess that's not Pulse. Anyways, December 14, 2024, Emmanuel put out track title, Mommy. And that came out under RC Music. So from 2022 to 2023, he was independent. and then from 2024 to now,

Starting point is 00:06:36 don't know how long the deal is, but, yeah, Emmanuel is currently signed to records music production, which is a Guadalara, Mexico-based independent music production company. So, with that being said, I wonder if some of the,

Starting point is 00:06:52 I wonder who's some of the standouts on this label. Because as far as the founder, um, it doesn't give an actual name as far as the founder. That's interesting. to. Maybe it's just a collective of people. It's it primarily works for independent artists and producers on project basis. Okay. So, I mean, it sounds like a major label.

Starting point is 00:07:13 So I think when it comes to Emmanuel partnering with this label, especially being from Arkansas and the music label being more specific or more focused on Mexican-sounded material, I think that could be a match made in heaven because of course they have certain ties in Mexico that that could help him out as far as to him growing up in Arkansas. So I think that could only help out as far as his music. And it seems like with the remix at some point, it may come to him signing with another, maybe a bigger major label. But as of right now, he's definitely still killing it. And he's definitely on the rise. And one of the more popular bilingual artists we have in the game, currently as far as up and coming obviously we're not comparing him to the
