Starting point is 00:00:00 With CMG being one of the most successful independent record labels in the world, it makes sense that ESTG will have his own boss on his single for his upcoming album as is literally titled A Moment With Gotti. Now, if you're not familiar with Yo Gotti, just know that he's making some of the best moves in the music industry. I'm not going to say of all time because that's a little extreme but with major labels coming out and saying it's harder and harder to find a successful artist to see what Yo Gotti has accomplished with his roster
Starting point is 00:00:47 of artists that he signed under the CMG umbrella the southern hip-hop sounding brand is partner with Interscope it's very interesting to becoming a major label one day as it's only going to keep right uh going to keep improving from here because this man has artists like 42 dug who is currently locked up i believe glorilla which everybody knows who glorilla is of course um ESTG who we're getting into today
Starting point is 00:01:28 with his latest trackout single with Yo Gotti Black Youngster Of course, everybody knows Black Youngster, the funny guy Money Baggio Who is arguably the most popular On the entire label And then you have Yo Gotti himself I mean, of course you have to list him as an artist
Starting point is 00:01:45 Because he actually raps So with him starting his artist Or him starting his His label and actually having multiple successful artists, that is one of the biggest achievements I've seen from just somebody starting a label from the jump.
Starting point is 00:02:03 And I'll probably have to compare that to how P from QC started his label. And even from that, he just had the Migos. And then Cardi B came and then Little Baby came. Like it wasn't all three or four popping at the same time. This man, yo God, he has money bag, ESTG, and Glowardine. all popping at the same time 42 Doug is currently locked up but even if he put out a track
Starting point is 00:02:27 it would probably do some numbers as ESTG was not having the biggest label support because of course with CMG they I don't believe I could be wrong but I don't believe they have as much funds as other people like a republic or a Sony of course actually that may be the same thing or or a warn I think Warner and Sony's yeah it's different so they don't have as much money as a Warner or a Sony. So obviously, the numbers aren't going to look as inflated. But for ESTG, his first week sales are usually around 30,000. I mean, in 2021, for his first debut album, he sold 28,000 first week. Second album in 2022, I never felt none. 31,000 first week. So I would just assume that this upcoming album will keep climbing the ranks and it may do 35,000 first week. That may be a
Starting point is 00:03:21 huge jump, but I do believe the way the ESTG has been consistently putting out music and for the quality to be serviceable for all of his fans, I think that we could see an increase in the spike in his first week sales to get up to get to, get up to around that 35,000 first week mark. But for the most part, all you need to know is that your God is really making waves with his CMG label. And it's literally one of the most impressive things I've seen. in the music industry. It almost reminds me of when 50 Cent went from rapping to making a whole just cinematic universe with power
Starting point is 00:04:03 and then the spinoffs. I forget, well, it was like Canaan, the Book of Power, all that type of stuff. Like all those spinoffs, going from music to movies and acting, obviously that's a little bit more impressive. But for Yo Gotti, that's why I'm comparing it to that because having so many artists popping at the same time on your label is not that's unheard of, honestly. So anyways, click my link tree in my bio.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Let me know in one of my social media is. What do you think about ESTG and his latest single with his boss, Yogadi? And do you think is fire? Well, actually, I want to ask that. Let me know, what do you think about Yogadi and the impact he has on the hip hop society? And also, what do you think is the best label ran by an artist in today's age?
