Starting point is 00:00:00 Just know pronunciations would probably be butchered, but it will be a lot of information for this particular artist that I feel like will be worthwhile because feed better know on stage as FERC so a FERC I don't even know if you're supposed to say that or spell it out I have no idea but basically feed as you see on the screen right now track titled Fenty Vinti conmigo. You can tell I don't speak Spanish. But anyways, he's a Columbia singer and songwriter who's been climbing up the ranks in the Latin music industry. And of course, he started out as a songwriter for some of the biggest names in the Latin realm,
Starting point is 00:00:45 including Jay Baldwin, Sebastian Yatra, and Carol G. very recent years has been putting out his own music so not only did he start out as a songwriter but now he's stepping into his own type of persona with his music and it's more of a blend of regga tone pop and trap and a lot of the things that comes with his subjects is like love heartbreak and self-discovery and 2022 he released the debut album feliz complianos i think that's how you say it and that was very successful reaching number eight on the billboard top latin album charts and spawned the hit singles normal and porfa i feel like porfavor is like please right i don't know what porfa is so anyways that's how you know i don't speak spanish but anyways he's uh dropped a new single titled vinti conmigo
Starting point is 00:01:43 and the biggest thing with this is that he's one of the more popular artists in the latin field and with me covering artists like Paiso Pluma covering artists such as Bad Bunny, of course, and a plethora of just other musicians in the Latin space, I've grown a whole new appreciation just for the different pockets of space and music because you have hip-hop, pop country, and with Latin music, it's very interesting
Starting point is 00:02:15 because when you say Latin music, the culture, of course, is attached with it, but is it its own genre like pop, hip hop, or are they making pop? Because when you look at a hip, I don't want to make it confusing. When you look at a hip hop artist or musician, you don't say, oh, that's African music. You know, it's hip hop. It's trap. It's drill. You know, they have certain subgenres for hip-hop. For the Latin music, I always just hear Latin. Like, it's never anything else. Of course, like I just said, the whole vibe of the music is kind of a mix between reggae tone, pop, and trap. So maybe that's what they're talking about when they're with their genres.
Starting point is 00:03:05 But I feel like for the Latin demographic, maybe they can have something like specifically to them, kind of how like kind of how black people are attached to hip hop if that makes sense i don't know if that makes sense but anyways uh obviously like i just said definitely a rising star in the latin music scene one of the reasons i even wanted to cover this i kind of do want to get more to the latin field and just get more knowledgeable about that and you know based on me doing my own research based off the track ventee con migo well also that's produced by sky i can't say that word romolando i think that's like said but basically feed has his own record label titled sky rompedo rompito i need's how he said i don't know i'm probably messing that all the way up and he's also the co-founder
Starting point is 00:03:58 of the clothing brand trap star y'all might have heard of that that's why i wanted to just do more research into feed because i know whenever these artists are bubbling up kind of on the main platforms is playlisting and DSPs that is not just out of the blue in a coincidence. Like not too many independent artists make it up to those type of stages. We'll have some type of team around them, unless you're like Central C or somebody. But like I said, definitely a rising star in the Latin music scene, only getting started. Hopefully this track, Vinti, Con Migo does great numbers for him. As far as the cover title, or the cover art and the actual track, I really enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Obviously, I don't know what they're saying, but what I can say is I really enjoyed the vibe of what he was given with the beat. And obviously, if you're flowing, then I appreciate that as even with Bad Bunny on K-pop, I appreciate his verse in the midst of Travis Scott in the weekend, simply for the Sonics being on point. If I can just listen to it and vibe, I don't have to understand what you're saying. You could be saying the wildest thing ever. But because I can't speak your language, I'm just going to act like whatever you're saying is PG, and we're just going to dance to the music all night long. So anyways, click my link to my bio. Let me know in one of my social media's, what do you think about a new artist feed in his latest single titled Vinty Conmigo? And if you've listened to the entire track, what do you think about the Latin music field in general?
Starting point is 00:05:29 And who is your favorite Latin artist?
