Now, this is my first time ever covering Florence plus the machine.
So I think it's only fair that I start off with some factual observations.
Shepard.
No, I got to let them know because I'm letting the masses know that the reason that Florence plus the machines is the name that she goes by is because of a private joke between Florence Welch and collaborator Isabella.
Hold on, Phineas and Ferb.
Oh, no, I think that's a different, Isabella.
Anyways, the machine summoners, no, summers.
Hold on now, I can't read.
During their early music sessions in 2007.
So all of that jumble mess, just letting you know distinctly.
That Florence Welch and collaborator Isabella,
the machine summers during their early music sessions in 2007.
So there's a joke between them.
And guess what? Welch jokingly called herself Florence Robot.
Now, I don't know how that would have went down as far as the masses.
But guess what?
And the full moniker evolved when she needed a stage name quickly, expeditiously, I might add, before her first gig.
And guess what?
They shortened it from the cumbersome Florence Robot is a machine to the name you know today.
you guys
so anyways
with that being said
that history
lesson out of the way
the main thing
I was wanting to get across
is of course
Florence and the Machine
is coming out
with an album
everybody screams
in about six days
so
if you're watching this
in the future
just know it came out
or it's going to come out
October 31st
has a whole countdown
on different DSPs
and let's just say
a lot of people
is waiting
for this particular album
as it's under
universal
music operations limited
it and of course when it comes to that the main thing with Florence plus the machine is that
the first week sales i'm not going to say it's blowing me out of the water but i mean that's exactly
how i feel so that's essentially what i'm saying these first week sales is nothing crazy compared to
the big dogs in the music industry but it's nothing uh small either it's definitely a significant
fan base that she's garnered throughout her tenure as far as in the music industry as she started off with her
first album, Lungs in 2009, which that ended up selling around 30,000 first week.
And her most successful album, objectively speaking, was 2015's How Beautiful, as it peaked
at number one with $128,000 in the U.S.
No, no, that wasn't her biggest.
That was almost her biggest.
Her biggest, objectively speaking, is 2011 ceremonials, which sold $100,000 plus in UK and $105,000
in U.S.
so that's why i got those confused because of course when you i count the uk sales ceremonial uh
ceremonials is her biggest album but when you count the 2015 album how big beautiful um
in the u.s specifically that was her biggest album so it's a little uh tricky but hopefully
you understood what i just said so when it comes to that putting out her putting on an album
in 2009 and they still have emotion in 2025 i mean if that's not the definition of longevity then i don't know what
is so as far as her album coming out in six days mind you the main thing you need to know is that
she already has two singles out for the album she has everybody scream and then one of the greats
so this is one of the more highly anticipated albums uh for her fan base but of course when it
comes to that just know that the main theme for this album is gothic pop uh ritualistic indie rock
i don't even know what that means emotional catharicis
catharsis
catharsis
there we go
I think I said it right
mysticism
witchcraft
hold up now
and folk horror
so safe to say
October is a very fitting month
for Florence to put out this album
and when it comes to
the artist's direction
it's moving from
dance fever's exhaustion to
rebirth in
ecstatic fatility
I don't know what that means
but anyways
Florence
is going on tour that's probably what her fans want to know as far as her huge tour that she's about
to go on in north america as you can see all the dates right here analytic dreams video on spotify to
see the video along with the audio but as you can see she's going to minneanapolis uh that's how she's
starting off her tour in april 8th um yeah okay so i'm about say yeah april just path uh past but this is
2026 so 26 april 8th is when her tour is starting a minionapulipulus um minnie nathanepalus
and in May 20th, Los Angeles will be the end date for her, for her, for her,
2026 tour.
So anyways, that's the main thing I was wanting to get at.
Another thing I wanted to talk about was, of course, the track listing, because of course,
when you look at it, it's about, let me see, there's two, four, six, eight, ten.
There's about 12 tracks on here.
I don't know what the runtime is because these tracks aren't out yet.
But when it comes to the two tracks, it's already out, safe to say that she's going to give
a pretty sizable offering to a fan base because of course she has to put out an album since
2022 so it's safe to say that she's going to put a lot of newer vibes into this album and also make
it extensive for her supporters to listen to before they come watch her on tour as most fans really
enjoy the touring aspect as of right now that's how most a majority not well not even majority
like 99.999% of artists really make their money is really from tour so for avid florence plus the
machine fans out there do know that her tour starts 2026 in minneapolis so when it comes to that
the main thing i was wanting to let you know aside from that is that she she has a standard
cd chamber a chamber edition cd black vinyl and then chamber edition vinyl so when it come uh when it comes
to the vinals you could probably just go to a page and then she'll probably have a link for it and pre-sales
are already active as far as the album coming out and avid fans out there would definitely be waiting
not only for the tour but also for the vinyals as people like to purchase physical copies and the
writers for this album as far as everybody screams is of course Florence welch mark bowen
and mitsky and the producers are Florence welch mark bowen james ford from the last
dinner party, Fontaine's, D.C., Aaron Desner from the National.
So that's essentially all you need to know about this album before it comes out October 31st.
So that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
