Starting point is 00:00:00 Now, it's about time that these two make another track together because in general, if I make a track with somebody almost four to five years ago and the song was a huge success on the billboard top 100 being number six when we're talking about tunnel vision and if we're talking about lockjaw and if we're talking about there he go, like come on now. Like those are some of the hits that we need for summer 2023. Now, do I think the new track with Kodak and French Montana, I can't lie? Is that? No. But it's not utter trash. So with that being said, I think we have to wait to see if this bubbles up for the summer. I'm kind of hesitant to stamp it as a solid track.
Starting point is 00:00:45 As, you know, with French Montana and Kodak Black, I have huge expectations as they literally collaborated to create Lockjaw. So every time they collaborate now, you're kind of held to that. bar because y'all showed us what y'all can do together but i think in general with kodak black he's really just living his best life i mean imagine being on one like imagine being on the album talking and rapping with someone who people considered the greatest rapper of the modern age and kendrick lamar being on a mr morel and the big stepers was a big step no pun intended well i guess pun intended because you know i kind of forced that in there with uh codec black and for them to collaborate or for Kendrick to ask Kodak to be so much of an influence on this album really
Starting point is 00:01:35 showcased the respect that Kodak has in the industry to the point where these type of collaborations I don't take lightly anymore I expect some type of anthem when this French Montana and Kodak Black and this track just simply isn't that now it's just one track which is why I'm giving my review as not an entire album I don't think that this means that French or Kodak paid out of album is just going to be straight trash but this single i can't lie literally the track title is i can't lie but me personally i can't lie and say it's fire when it's actually just mid you know it's kind of it's just like simple simple rapping with kodak and uh french montana when we've heard them give us great choruses to go along with those features but right now i think both of them are just
Starting point is 00:02:23 cooling trying to see if they can catch another hit together but this is definitely not one of them um many tracks codec and french montana has collaborated on um obviously i just named listed off some of the biggest ones with lock jar mop stick tunnel vision there he go but in general whenever you're looking at french montana whenever you're looking at codec black they're both artists where you expect a certain type of anthem when it comes to summertime music as codec black who gave us Super Gremlin and French Montana literally gave us every Drake Fireverse imaginable
Starting point is 00:03:00 that completely captivated the summer. So I expected more from this single and while it's not uttered trash, I do think it could have been a little bit better. So click my link to your bio, let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Codec Black and Fresh Montana collaborating for the fifth?
Starting point is 00:03:23 One, two, three, four. The fifth time, and do you think that this I Can't Live record stacks up against the past collaborations?
