Starting point is 00:00:00 Getting into the opening track of Fereza Regina's latest album that just dropped today on all DSPs, which is 111 X Panthea or 111X panthea. I still haven't found the official pronunciation. So I'm giving both. So with that being said, the first track is Godfather, which is produced by J.O.P. Jose Mano de Luna and Moses Lopez. Hope I'm saying that right. So with that being said, when it comes to Godfather and then having this track being the opening track for the album, it kind of showcases what type of direction he's going to go in as he's already impacted the masses time and time again with his multiple tracks, especially in Mexico going crazy as far as Porasos, as Ojos, as far as Pika, Pika, Mihalo, Coqueta. Like he has tracks for days in Mexico as far as in the top 23, right?
Starting point is 00:00:56 And then his most popular track as far as in the world is Mihalo. That's the 52nd most play track in the world. And it's been on the charts for about 10 weeks to the point where you start to realize that Fresa Rigida is not only one of the more prominent artists in the Latin field, but he's also one of the more prominent artists in the music industry. So that being said, having the first track of your highly anticipated album being Godfather. I mean, it definitely said in the tone, as we already are going to go to certain Godfather-type movies, right and start to compare the themes and the simple and just overall similarities between the track
Starting point is 00:01:34 the opening track for this album and the godfather movies that we've seen in the past so when it comes to fresa regita in this album it's very interesting as is i think it's the first time in his discography that he has an album that's not featuring anybody because if you think about it Um, this is a Mexican-American group based in San Bernardino in California. So that being said, the notable frontman is Jesus JOPRT's past. So with that being said, their most successful track is Meihalo. But now you kind of realize that it was with another artist as far as group bro Frontera. And both of them combined to be able to top the airplay charts as far as Latin, the Billboard
Starting point is 00:02:22 Latin airplay and regional Mexican airplay. So when it comes to collaborative efforts, you would think it'd be seen more on this album, on the band's album, because it's very interesting that they're not having any features, which you can have no features on an album that's solely for you. But I'm just saying it's intriguing how the analytics show that certain tracks they have rows on the charts
Starting point is 00:02:47 have other artists attached to it. But then they, you know, counter-arguer. would probably say poor assos whole host which is just basically freda regita by themselves is on the charts and they don't have anybody with them so you know it's definitely twofold but i would have like to see more collaborative efforts on the album i could see why they didn't because they probably believed that they could run up the numbers by themselves which if you look at the charts they're not mistaken like they run up a lot of numbers especially in mexico and just a worldwide appeal and so this would be a testament to the fan base to see if they will listen to an entire body of work as far as it
Starting point is 00:03:21 be in 12 tracks 34 minutes in length all forza regita right so that's what basically i wanted to cover the first track off of the album is titled godfather and now i was wanting to get into the i was wanting to get into the second track titled a way
