Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, if there's one thing for certain is that hip hop in 2024 is already 10 times better than 2023, and we're only three months in. So with that fact out the way, because I covered it more extensively in my, which one was it? I think it was J. Cole. Yeah, okay, if you look up J. Cole, might delete later, Volume 2, analytic dreams. I really broke down my sentiments on how hip hop is better than last year. You know, well, it's better this year than last year. And I use numbers to back that up. But quality-wise, I mean, it's really not even a question.
Starting point is 00:00:44 I mean, we have Kendrick. No, no, we have Kanye putting out his Votcher's One album. Big Sean's putting out his album sometime soon. And now we have this album with Future in Metro. Who knows if Drake is going to drop. man, Cole is coming with an album. If anybody's trying to listen to that. Playboy Cardi might be coming with an album.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Kanye may be dropping another album, Vultures 2, which it seems like he's leading up to. And then you have, I mean, do people, people still waiting for that Cardi B album? Anyways, let me chill. So anyway, so, obviously, you know, 2024 hip-hip-hop wise is way better than 2023, and it's not even close, and we're only three months in.
Starting point is 00:01:26 So that is a great sign as far as hip-hop, probably hearing what people's been saying as far as hip hop falling off last year which you know numbers wise statistically it definitely was i mean morgan walla and taylor swift they was bringing us back to the old days the way they was dominating the charts so and the m&m set to drop something i think it was like announced not too long ago i was going to report on that but you know i get to m&m when i get to him so um as far as you know focusing on our you know black brethren future in in metro have this track titled young metro which is the biggest tease in music history having the weekend over that type of beat just to not give a verse is criminal like lock metro up and throw away
Starting point is 00:02:13 the key and he better not come out with some type of sentiment like he did when he left drake off trance talking about oh i just felt like this just wasn't room for the weekend verse i felt like it was good as it was already a full complete track like he better not come out and say oh The weekend submitted a verse, but I just felt like his vocals for the chorus was, was enough. Like, nah, bro. Like, after what you did to Drake on trance, which if you look up the league version of trans, like, come on now. Like, Drake deserved to be on the track. So, yeah, Metro, when it comes to producing, is obviously one of the better producers in the game.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I heard somebody say, like, why don't we talk about Metro as being the best producer in the game? because there's this guy in, you know, history. And, you know, he makes music here and there. You know, he's one of the best. You know, he's a right. His name's like Kanye West, something like that, I think so. He produces, though. Yeah, you know, it's superior.
Starting point is 00:03:11 So, yeah, that's why people would be like, why Metro are not considered the best? Because, you know, some other people that exist. It's almost like in the Michael Jordan era. And people would be like, why the mailman or what was the point guard for, it was a point guard for the jazz stockton was it john stockton maybe i'm tripping anyways they'd be like why don't we talk about them more uh because michael jordan exists and so we focus on him conya was exists so production wise we focus on him because he's the best metro is it's nice
Starting point is 00:03:42 is great Kanye is a whole different animal so anyways young metro's fire i think the weekend i have in averse off of this track is criminal and it's so criminal to the fact that i felt like reporting on this specific track simply to get that take out there because if there's a version with the weekend i mean forget the weekend at this point i just need somebody to upload some ai some ai of the weekend and him adding some type of verse to this track i just feel like the ad lips that he was giving the vocals through the chorus it was just criminal that we couldn't get a full full length verse from the weekend another Canadian that Metro boomer has slighted but anyways click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think
Starting point is 00:04:33 about Young Metro featuring weekend and also as far as the totality of the album between Future and Metro and we don't trust you what is currently your favorite track
