Starting point is 00:00:01 Now, when it comes to League of Legends, safe to say, this is going to be more of a in-depth breakdown, but a short in-depth breakdown. As I did want to talk about the overall tournament that's going on right now, which is the League of Legends, World's 2025, Switch Stage, as far as happening October 15th, so right now, through October 19th. I want to give you the overall synopsis of it as a 16 teams, five rounds, three wins, knockouts, uh, knockouts meaning three losses. And then of course, when it comes to that,
Starting point is 00:00:38 there's been specific upsets, but for people who wait to the tournament is finished, watch the whole thing. And I know you may be looking at, looking at me like I'm crazy. Like, who does that? But actually, I do that for some of the fighting game tournaments.
Starting point is 00:00:49 I went to the whole thing's over. And I basically watch it in full because sometimes I like to skip to certain fights. If I know that they're going to make it to the end. Right. I know I'll be spoiling myself. So when it comes to that, I'm not going to spoil it for people who do that. exact same thing. But the main thing I was wanting to say was this specific tournament has a track
Starting point is 00:01:08 attached to it that's doing phenomenal on the charts right now. And of course, I don't know if y'all could tell, especially by the podcast name, especially by how I dress. But the main thing that I enjoy to the fullest is when music and gaming finds some sort of way to combine into one. And that's the, that's exactly what happened for this particular scenario as sacrifice. featuring Jim GEM, which if you don't know, was born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong and singer-songwriter dubbed China's Taylor Swift. Hold up now. That's a mouthful. I ain't going to lie to you, hey. To each his own, right? Debuting at 16 with her 2008 EP GEM, she gained fame and via 2014's I Amasping 200 million plus years.
Starting point is 00:02:01 YouTube views as the first Chinese artists to do so. Oh, okay, okay, hold them now. I had to put some more respect on her name. Goodness. And then awards include 16 I-F-P-I-H-K sales awards. I don't know what that means. And then a 2016 MTV Europe Music Award. And when it comes to that, the reason why we're talking about GEM specifically is because
Starting point is 00:02:22 this track, sacrifice is for League of Legends. And as far as it being announced August of 2025, it was delayed. to October 13th for edits removing. Oh, I think that's controversy. So I'm not even going to get into that. Anyways, it's out now. It's the World's 15th, well, League of Legends, 15th anniversary anthem.
Starting point is 00:02:48 It's, you know, it says released as the world's 15th anniversary anthem. And when it comes to that, is a tribute to the late 2011 champ Shushie, a Shushay. I think this I said it. So with that being said, I've covered League of Legends tracks before, such as back in September 27, 2023 on this podcast as New Jeans put out a track title gods. And that was also from League of Legends. And that did tremendous. Y'all really supported that to the fullest.
Starting point is 00:03:19 So here I am again to not only highlight the tournament that's happening right now, but to also highlight the track that's currently and captivating the masses. when it comes to the streams 70% is from Asia but of course when it comes to the orchestral ballad format it favors Apple music as far as 40% page streams and that's the main thing that was going to get into as far as the world's broadcasting spiked 300 plus hourly streams on twitch slash YouTube for this specific track so once again music gaming It's always a nice marriage. I'm a little biased. But, you know, when it comes to music and gaming,
Starting point is 00:04:03 it's more present than you would think. So shout out to GM for pun intended dropping this gym of a single, especially for this tournament. Shout out to all the teams in this tournament. Hopefully they're doing well. I don't know exactly who's... Actually, I do. I see it right here.
Starting point is 00:04:20 But, you know, I'm not going to spoil it for anybody who likes to watch the full vaude after the fact like a sicko like me. So when it comes to that, that's the main thing I was going to get into. There's a reason why I didn't play. any of the gameplay because i didn't want you to be spoiled but that's the main thing league of legends switch stage is going on right now from october 15th to october 19th there was 16 teams or there is at the beginning there was 16 teams and i guess you'll have to watch it to see how i play how plays out so that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias have you
Starting point is 00:04:49 listened to the track sacrifice for the league of legends tournament featuring gym or g em and at the end of the day if you enjoyed these league of legends tournament which team do you want to come out on top?
