Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, of course, we got to get into G.G. Perez as I believe when I first cover this artist, it was back in October 4th, 2024, letting you know about a particular artist with the track, Sailor song, which if you literally type in Sailor Song, Analytic Dreams with a Z, it'll pull up as far as my coverage of that particular artist back in October 4th, 2024. But now, fast forward to April 25th, 2025, she has an entire project out titled at the beach in every life. Now this album was put out today is 46 minutes
Starting point is 00:00:38 in length, 12 tracks entirely and of course Gigi Perez is under the big dogs of the music industry that is UMG. So when it comes to that, you have to recognize that Saylor song is already a phenomenal single as far as leading up to this album
Starting point is 00:00:54 as it was the 35th most play album in the world. And coincidentally, it's also been on the charts for 35 weeks. So, as far as that particular track, this album, I believe, will capitalize greatly off of the success of that particular track as it went crazy on the charts, but not only that, with this album. And then, of course, the sister's influence being a major musical influence before passing away in 2020, I think a lot of people would be very empathetic to, sympathetic to, G.G. crediting her older sister, Celine, and her memory and singing talent as a driving force in her music career. Because one of the things I always say in the music industry is that if you're putting out music from a place of introspective thoughts and trying to let people into your life, I think it
Starting point is 00:01:50 overall enhances the quality level of the track. Because now you're putting more of yourself into the music, which makes it stand out because nobody likes a carbon copy of you trying to trying to be like another musician. Well, some people do. But, you know, for the most part, in my personally, for me, I respect when artists genuinely are themselves throughout the music, right?
Starting point is 00:02:12 So anyways, the deals, the themes throughout this entire album is a lot of grief, trauma, things of that nature, because, you know, her sister did pass away. So with that being said, you do want to be understanding of that fact and know that a lot of inspiration came in a form of her older sister,
Starting point is 00:02:29 Celine's performance of Faber. in high school and it having a huge impact of g-g now of course if you knew to this particular artist just know that she puts out a lot of folk pop style of music she gained a lot of popularity throughout the tic-tok platform as i've always said with the authentic nature of tic-tok promoting your track to the point where it doesn't matter when you put out your track if it goes viral on TikTok, you come to realize that now it has a whole new life and it took a whole new life upon itself on this other platform that inherently helps out other platforms such as Spotify, such as Apple Music. So as far as the track sometimes in under, in parentheses backward,
Starting point is 00:03:20 and this being under endoscope, I don't know. And then following that success on TikTok up with a 2023 EP that was released via interscope, how to catch a falling knife, you come to realize that everybody has the own rise of fame. And sometimes it takes that one track to blow up on whatever platform to give you your start in the music industry. So it's kind of like playing the lottery, but except whenever you get under that major label, they make a lot of the puzzle pieces needed less, right? Because it takes a lot of luck for a hit, right?
Starting point is 00:03:56 But it also takes preparation meeting opportunities. So it doesn't matter how much the. major label fills up the puzzle, you still need to add a certain piece. And when, when that opportunity happens, you have to be ready to fill the missing gap in that puzzle, right? So Gigi Perez was able to do that. And with her popular track, sometimes it was phenomenal to the point where now she's had a grandiose career to the point where at the beach in every life, I think would have a phenomenal lasting life, a phenomenal shelf life on the billboard charts. But of course, only the future will tell what it ends up performing as far as compared to
Starting point is 00:04:42 her previous music. But at the end of the day, Gigi highlighting her older sister and honoring her throughout her music is highly respectable. And I believe that's the biggest compliment you could give a sibling as far as just showcasing how much you love them in your music. So that being said, click my link to your bio. Let me know one of my social media. What do you think about G.G. Perez's album at the beach in every life?
Starting point is 00:05:09 And at the end of the day, what is your favorite track from Gigi Perez? If you're new to G.G. Perez, will you be checking out her album at the beach in every life that's out now on all DSPs?
