Starting point is 00:00:03 Now when it comes to Glorilla, y'all already know my sentiments about Gloria, my praise for Glorilla, and of course, how when I covered Glorilla back in 2024 and Sexy Red. I basically was pinpointing a lot of hip-hop outlets being out of touch because they were singing in 2024 and by day, I really just mean it was Joe Button. Joe Button doesn't really watch and listen to the music landscape like he claims he does. So whenever he said 2024 was the year that a lot of labels was moving away from female acts, he was just blatantly and egregiously incorrect as sexy red and Glorilla was really putting up numbers in 2024 as far as for hip-hop acts, the up-and-coming hip-hop acts, because we already know what side seven and Aubrey Cairn was doing. But as far as in 2025, Big X the plug is seemingly having that type of rise to fame.
Starting point is 00:00:57 But to be fair, Glorilla in 2025, is keeping some type of momentum as her track type is the 95th most play track in the world. But when it comes to a lot of women rappers in the game, they are a lot of rappers who are women putting up numbers such as a sexy red, such as a glorilla, Lotto. Lotto's track, somebody is still one of the more popular tracks in the world. I believe it's around the 70 mark. Let me see. Oh, I must have fell off the charts.
Starting point is 00:01:27 It was around 70 to 80. I don't see it right now. but uh and then we have who else who's the top women rappers you have cardy with her her track i think that's doing well as far as outside that track is currently the let me see cardi b let me see um yeah her track outside is currently the 88th most played track in the world so glovela and and Cardi are the only ones who really have a track on the charts right now as far as women rappers are considered because I don't see Doja Cat. Actually, Joja Cat is up here with Jell is tight at 509th most played track in the world.
Starting point is 00:02:11 As far as Lotto and Ice Spice, I mean, they did just drop a track together, but that's besides the point. The main thing I was really trying to get to is how off-put a lot of commentary was on women rap. There's a plethora of women rappers in the game putting up numbers. When back in the day, it used to be just Nikki. yes I am well I got some not that old but I do remember when Nikki was putting BTA on the whole hip hop industry as a woman and we've never seen anything like it and there's really no women
Starting point is 00:02:36 out there competing against her she was only going up against men so anyways all that to say this glorilla went on the most eccentric roast battle flow I've ever heard in quite some time it's time for a rap battle now at the end of the end of the a day obviously this is no serious rap battle but it's very interesting how glorilla kind of played off a interesting sample to go at young thug in a way that's more of a roast more than a serious this track right as far as the bryana you know a direct jab at young thugs uh comments as far as uh maria the scientist saying that she looked like riana and then of course young thug was like who uh watch out you know i mean you're probably talking about brianna right so when it comes
Starting point is 00:03:32 to that i wonder if i still have the footage right here so let me see we see yeah right here i don't know that's the actual track let me see glovilla let me type in mariah actually now that you type that in you the only the disc track pops up which is you know great marketing from uh glovilla in general i'm trying to see if they have the the call leak though here we go no Yeah, all this is just a distract. That's solid. Oh, here we go. Here we go. Huh? Hold on now.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Big Mow. Yantah are going crazy. Hold on now. It's crazy. People, me, niggas be saying, man. They're saying she like Rihanna. Man, p. They like goddamn Brianna. And then that's what came from.
Starting point is 00:04:26 So that's why she titled the track Brianna. And, but Yontha going at Glovilla, what you really need to know is that this is all jokes, right? Yontho is currently on his apology tour. He has a lot more things to worry about. But he did include Gloverilla in his apology tour as far as, you know, him talking about how he didn't mean it. Because he basically came out with a message on his Instagram story, September 7th. It was an ex post.
Starting point is 00:04:50 No, September 4th, he came out with an ex post essentially saying, first of all, I'm sorry to you for my words. And I honestly don't think you're ugly at all. I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life I don't like I don't like bashing girls it hardly ever did I'm sorry to you
Starting point is 00:05:16 twin I know that ain't who I think it is Lorella heard that and basically said to herself and went on a whole tirade as far as calling his man all type of egregious rost phrases such as a frog that won the race of a Jamaican Vegeta called him all type of names in general
Starting point is 00:05:39 because as far as Juwanda Man and the type of names that she was calling him let's just say Glovilla must have been in her bag as far as writing this track because we still don't know if it's real right Gloverilla I don't even think she's acknowledged his sleep track title Brianna but someone would say that is real because of Glorilla's type of accent and how hard you know is it probably is for AI to replicate that so um that's all i really have about it's nothing too crazy i just wanted i just wanted to bring it to y'all's attention because the track is fired um i were playing in fool
Starting point is 00:06:11 but i actually don't know if she's going to release this it seems like a snippet so if it is a snippet and it comes out then her major label's going to take a hold of it and then you know so you don't want to risk that but at the end of day uh gloorilla definitely had a lot of jokes for a young thug responded to maria to scientists basically she looked like uh you don't think she cute marking marking her voice and stuff and I think it's just a funny way of roasting somebody back and she did it in a musical form which rappers should do so that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about glowrilla completely roasting geoffrey and basically saying who do to his apology and at the end of the day do you think that young thug and
Starting point is 00:06:51 glorilla will ever make a track together
