Now for y'all that don't know, Griff is a musician. Further than that, she's half Jamaican, half Chinese. Talk about covering the spectrum. She grew up in a small village just outside of London, and she hopes that you like her songs. Now, ladies and gentlemen, I just read directly from her account page and about page.

on DSPs right still don't know who this person is but the way it came to my attention about her putting out music is simply because she's under exclusive license to warner music UK limited now if i had to guess who that was or what type of label that was our guess is big bad Warner Bros branching out and trying to find the overseas act because I don't know who this person is I looked at her tracks I don't really see I don't really see too many tracks that stood out. I mean, her biggest track seems to be titled Good Stuff, which came out 2020. She started putting out music in July 3rd, 2019.

Well, her first track, Eternal Flame, came out on July 3rd, 2019. But the biggest thing you need to know, and the reason why we're even talking about her is because she released a new track titled Vertigo. front of the other. I can't lie. That really tripped me up. Let's keep going. And her hit. So they'll be quantifying this as a hit. But I'm looking at the numbers. And I don't even...

Maybe I'm tripping. But maybe a hit to them is a little different than a hit to me because they said Black Hole was her hit. And that came out... She only has one album out, by the way. Came out 2021. And Black Hole was the start of the album.

So I'm thinking that came out, 2021 um let's see all type of remixes that's how you know it was a hit all right january 18th 2021 so that was her biggest track offer her only album one foot in front of the other and for this specific title she's back again hoping to replicate that type of success as she opened up for h a i am so haim at all points festival and toured with a lot of premier acts in today's music industry like dueliepah ed sharon cole play and florence i almost thought they said florence pew i was like dang this is opaheimir anyways and florence plus the machine i don't know who that is but you know i had to get that florence joke off

so anyways um she documented the song's creation as you can see on my uh on her twitter she talked about how these photos was taken a few hours before she wrote Vertigo in the English countryside wish she could show herself in this photo to love and support you've already given the song and I can finally say Vertigo is out now so nice little rollout her debut mixtape oh I guess they're calling it a mixtape but it's an album oh it's just terminology at this point it's a project her first project that came out 2021 reached number four on the UK Chargers So you can see why Warner Bros. Or just Warner Music, music,

wanted to come in and sweep her up. And also Griff expressed a desire to explore a darker and moody side in Vertigo, which is just PR talk about at the end of the day. Griff says she's been more active on social media for her career, even though she's uncomfortable with it, which that is a very interesting topic. I feel like should be held for another day because a lot of different artists are introverts.

So when they're on social media It's a little out of the realm And they're not as comfortable with it And a lot of people think that's fake And they're just making up stuff Simply to not talk to the fans But some artists are really introverse And if you ever seen them in interviews

You can see why they're introverse You know, they just don't normally react In ways that a lot of people think is normal If that makes sense So Which what's normal is subjective you know there's a lot of trendsetters and people follow the trend if you step outside of that trend now you could be seen as weird so um a lot of people in the introvert space like a griff you know

using or being active on social media to promote her music which you know her her PR team is probably like hey we need we can promote your music but we also need you to step out and and put some posts up so she's uh as she says she's getting uh more acclimated to it even though she's uh uncomfortable with it but at the the day, I need to know as this new artist called Griff is back with a new track called Vertigo. The reason why this is impactful is because Warner Music on the UK division has picked her up. So expect to see and hear more of Griff in the near future. So anyways, click my link to your bio.
