Diving back into the Latin music field, of course, we're getting into Grupo, Marco,
Marca of Red Astrada, and Victor Valverda, as when it comes to Mexico specifically in them making
and captivating Caritos Tumbados, they have the 11th most popular track in Mexico currently.
Now, of course, the label that they distributed this track through was RB Music Distributed
Via Virgin Music Group.
Now, when it comes to the charts, everybody knows that Anoscope Records, which
RB music is under is actually when it comes to Interscope I do believe that they're under
UMG but obviously I have to fact check because you do not like to spread misinformation
around here so try to see what label Interscope is under so essentially
Enoscope Records is part of Universal Music Group so if you don't know universal music group currently
has 54% of the entire music market share. Yes,
ladies and gentlemen, 54%. Sony has 30%. Warner has 10%. And then the others,
which is basically small labels and independence, they have collectively 7%. So when it
comes to Universal Music Group, they are undoubtedly the big dogs and have been the big dogs for
quite some time in the music industry. So with Victor Valverde, or Valverde, and
Grupo Marca Redistrata being under R.B. Music distributed through via Virgin Music Group,
you have to always keep in mind that they are essentially under UMG. Yes, ladies and gentlemen,
that's how the branch works in this tree called the music industry. You have a lot of subsidiaries,
and then they all lead up to a major music machine, whether it's UMG, whether it's Sony,
or whether it's Warner.
Now, you have to put out music on such a grandiose-like scale to even be picked up by these
major conglomerates to where I'm even talking about certain musicians because when it comes
to this track, not only in captivating the masses, but especially it captivating the region
to the point where it's the 11th most played track in the world.
And when it comes to the track, it's not even that long.
It's two minutes.
Well, for a track, it's almost three minutes, it's two minutes and 54 seconds.
It has two artists on a track.
So that's not the longest track in the world, right?
If you don't know, Red Estrada is a regional Mexican band from Kulia Khan and Sinaloa,
and known for their modern take on Coritos.
And of course, when you come to Victor Valverde, it's an artist who's more of the up-and-coming type artist on the carido scene,
often associated with the Ronis persona.
And his reoccurring theme in the music is basically a lot of dominance and,
empower as far as his sentiments and his lyrical content.
Now, when it comes to the band when talking about registrata, they gained a lot of traction
when they started to perform live because, of course, when it comes to the live performance,
that's a way to tap into your potential fan base in a way that you otherwise couldn't have
on DSPs because now they see you live.
They see that you're actually very talented to the point where not all artists can record
music can give a same type of quality level live.
It takes a special type of artist to be able to perform live and also put out quality
music on DSPs because when you're in the studio, it's just you and a producer and you're
cooking up and you put out your best effort.
When you're live, your mess ups, vocally, instrument-wise, it all could go awry as far
as the live performance.
So if you make all that amazing for your audience watching you live and then they go to
DSPs and also figure out your music to the point where they realize you're a great live
musician and now you're a great DSP musician.
You now have a fan.
So I think when it comes to Grupo and Victor Valeverde, they definitely crack that type of
system as far as gaining and acquiring a live audience to the point where now is transferring
over into the DSP markets as El Mayor de Los Renas being the 11th most play track on
in Mexico is a humongous accomplishment,
especially with the amount of music being put out on an everyday basis, right?
So if you wanted to know the musical style before you get into like the actual track,
just know it's more of traditional regional Mexican elements such as the brassy horns,
accordion riffs, and a driven rhythm that you are used to associating with Caritos tombados.
But at the end of the day, what they do as far as the delivery has,
made it to the point where it has strong reception leading to a genomic rise on the charts for
Mexico. So with that being said, click my link here in my bio. Let me know on one of my social
medias. What do you think about Grupo, Marco, Red Estrada, and Victor Valverde's track
El Mayor Delos Renas? And do you think is fire or trash?
