Starting point is 00:00:00 The word on the street is gangsters are back in style because the people in Atlanta have came together and it's a general consensus that this album, a gift and a curse by Gunna Wuna is a W. Now, I don't know whether to play the applause or to play the boo sound effect, even though I don't really have one. I tried it one time if you do remember my OG listeners. But for the most part, gangsters are back in style, and that's what we're here to talk about today, because not only do we have the most certified gangster in Atlanta running the charts once again, but he is now joined with via the evolution of AI, The Goat. The Goat Aubrey Graham has joined Gunnawanah on his popular track, aka Rodale Drive. and I would play it, but of course,
Starting point is 00:01:00 I don't know what label Gunna's under currently, and I don't even want to test the waters. So all I'm going to say is it may or may not be in the description box below. But that's besides the point. What I really want to get into is just gonna be one of the realest gangsters to ever walk to earth.
Starting point is 00:01:18 I mean, imagine being indicted for a RICO charged and then not even a year, but three to four months after, getting released and having your freedom return to you. It's almost like when six, no, oh, my fault, my fault. Anyways, let's get back to being a gangster. So I took it upon myself as a true journalist in this game, the integrity that I have to look up one of the most prominent gangsters
Starting point is 00:01:45 that's been glorified in today's society. And it's none other than Alonzo Harris. Now, for y'all who don't know or even heard, If you haven't even heard of Alonzo Harris, just know that this is one of the most prominent portrayals of a gangster that we have in today's society. And he was played by one of the best black actors that ever walked his earth, aka Denzel Washington. Now, he was a corrupt LAPD officer using his position to enrich himself and to intimidate and exploit others. If that's not a gangster, then I don't know what it is. but one of the most prominent, I already used that word, one of the most potent characteristics that stood out to me was machismo.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Because Alonzo was very masculine in his portrayal. I mean, he was obviously training somebody in his movie. I forget what it was called. Now, I'll just play. I didn't forget. I was trying to be funny. Y'all can throw y'all tomatoes. Anyways, back to my point.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Alonzo is a very masculine character, of course, who constant. asserts his dominance in this movie. Just like any real gangster in the streets, he proves at all times that he is the toughest guy in the room. And that leads to my next point on how Gunna Wuna is currently the toughest guy in the room as his first week sales are projecting him to have not one, oh, no, not two, not three, but he made end up having the number one spot on the billboard charts ultimately beating out the weekend for the number one spot
Starting point is 00:03:40 now they do say it's unlikely that gift and a curse will come out on top but it could make an appearance in the top 10 as far as the entire album because we're talking about his previous d okay so i messed up his d as forever is what beat out the week's number one spot on the billboard charts but his current album will continue to rise on the charts and will most likely break the top 10, which is still a huge accomplishment for him being Blackball. And he's up against Killer Mike's Michael album, which I heard is just phenomenal. I don't know if I'm mature enough to listen to that album. That's why I haven't even I think I spoke on it, but I was basically covering the objective points of his album. Like, I didn't really get into any reviews. But his first week's numbers are set to come out soon. People
Starting point is 00:04:32 saying it's going to be around 78,000 so we will see when ultimately comes out but all i got to say is for the evolution of AI to give us drake and gunner in the year 20203 when he's seemingly blackballed i guess it really is a gift and a curse y'all can throw y'all tomatoes now but anyways uh click my link to hear my bio let me know in one of my social medias what do you think about this new drake and gunna song uh rodeo drive remix i guess and it may or may not be in my description box below and if you listen to it make sure to come back and let me know what was your favorite part of gunna's tell all album titled a gift and a curse
