So apparently, Gunna decided to release a snippet and all of the real, I mean, just the down, bad street, you know what I mean, connoisseurs is very upset.
So apparently, aka Master Splinter, you know, decided to put out something that he thought the streets would enjoy because, of course, him saying that he will fight it out in his latest snippet since being released.
from prison makes it seem like he's not going anywhere.
You know what I mean?
He's going to actually fight it out for people's approval.
And from people, it's kind of a broad description.
I would say from the streets.
He's definitely looking from approval from the streets because let me tell you something.
If Gunna puts out something and it's fire, guess who's listening to it?
Everybody.
Like, I'm not going to lie to you.
I think the only way that this whole Gunna snitching situation can
really blow up on him. It's if he dropped something and his fan base doesn't support. But to be
fair, a lot of people try to compare Gunna to Takashi 6-9, which Gunna, obviously, does not rap like
Takashi 6-9. Takashi 6-9 came out rapping about Trayway being affiliated, getting you killed
for going against his gang, telling people to, uh, let's just say he was, he was, he was,
telling a lot of people to do a very provocative things to him in a very uh diminishing way and for gunna
this man raps about burkins raps about buying you know flying you out and on a private jet you know
this man talks about lavish lifestyle type of of uh activities so i don't think it's the same way
when he comes out and he's like oh i'm just gonna keep rapping the way i am going to rap
and then everything will be fine because his subject matter was never
the gangster street life like if y'all can tell me one lyric or just verse where he's just
blatantly co-signing um gang like activities or just like specifically talking about how he's just
the toughest person alive then y'all let me know because i can't find it and so that's why i've really
put gunna in a different boat than um six nine because i feel like it's a very different situation
Now, on the other hand, the whole relationship with Young Thug, I think is why a lot of people care about this situation.
Because if you don't know, Young Thug probably has a lot more connections in the industry than Gunner ever even got close to.
So the people who enjoy and like Young Thug will probably not associate with Gunna simply for the fact that Young Thug was one of the heavy cosigns for Gunna.
I'm not saying he's the one who put Gunna on
because Gunna had his own
he had his own rise to fame
and people just tried to sign him after
so it wasn't like Young Thug co-signed
his no name but Young Thug
was very essential
in the rise of Gunna and Gunna
um
Gunna enjoyed
and also
came up off of that
co-sign from Young Thug and being a part
of YSL which is
why he's getting so much backlash for
him quote unquote snitching because with Takachi 69 he was quote unquote in a gang that a lot of people
even from the beginning or even before he got the whole RICO case thought he wasn't a part of their
life but now as we see um he definitely was as you don't get indicted on a RICO charge and not
have some type of criminal activity like i was listening to this one um forget what he was saying
not what he was saying, but I forget who it was.
But basically he was saying that a lot of your favorite hip-hop artists or musicians that talk about that lifestyle,
and this may sound ignorant, but if they haven't been locked up or if nothing,
I'm not going to say nothing violent, but if they haven't been associated to anything from the police,
not talking about general public, from the police, or indicted on a charge, or been in prison,
then they probably aren't living the life that they're actively rapping about.
And I think that's pretty safe to say as a lot of these rappers nowadays who are actively
living the life that they're rapping about, or one, dying like they're not here no more,
or two, getting locked up in prison.
So a lot of your favorite musicians that may be rapping about their lifestyle and you haven't
heard them getting locked up, haven't ran into the feds, or haven't had any type of altercation
or any rival gang members
probably on living that lifestyle
and they're probably living out the
was it the Jay Z notorious
line when he's like scribbled in your notepad
I forget what he said
basically
it was basically scribbled in your notepad
somebody else's
journey and made it your life
like you're rapping like you live
that other person's life that you saw
go throughout all the illegal activities
that you're rapping about
I did I did a
horrible job quoting that but y'all kind of get what i'm saying so a lot of these rappers which is
not a bad thing um not like doing what you're rapping about if it's illegal but also promoting a
lifestyle um that's illegal that that's like uh very hypocritical when it comes to the hip-hop scene
because we enjoy it and let me tell you i'll be the first person to play some NBA young boy
I mean, what a job of rent said on like a national television, he was like,
it's a parade in my city, literally quoting an NBA young boy lyric right after having
all that controversy surrounding him holding a gun on live.
That was his live, I think.
I think it was his live.
It was pretty bad.
But yeah, he got like suspended for 10 games.
That was like a whole other situation.
But as soon as he comes back, just showing no remorse, quoting NBA young boy lyrics, I mean, it's really the effects.
of hip hop on
let's just say to youth
because I don't want to be too specific
is very apparent
in today's society. So
yeah, so that's all I want to talk about
just want to get into the different
the differences between
the Gunna situation and the Six-Nine
situation. As far as the snippet I just
played, I mean technically it's called
oh, I exit out of it,
but technically it was called
let me see, fight it out.
So a lot of people
are dubbing this fight it out obviously there's no official title but for gunna um that's what that's
what they're calling it because basically that's the biggest thing that stood out like he was like
i'm not going nowhere i'm a fight it out which is basically saying all y'all that think that i'm gonna
just stop making music and going to hiding because i snitch well technically the location he put up is
another tell tell sign that he kind of snitched because uh Miami florida if you don't know a lot of
informants and don't ask how i know this man it's just from covering hip-hop but
A lot of informants go to Florida because I don't know why, but I think it's easier to blend in.
It's a big city and you're less likely, unless you're from Florida and you snitch.
But if you're from somewhere else, that's probably one of the best places to fly to.
And I don't know why you have to look it up for yourself, but that's why I've been told on numerous occasions that a lot of informants go to Florida.
And so that's not really helping Gunnar's case.
But, hey, at the end of the day, we kind of already know he told.
And right now he's just doing a lot of
He what's the word he's doing a lot of
I figure what PR tries to
I forget the word but basically he's trying to
Negate all the negative effects that comes with
The quote unquote snitching you know for me
I'm just saying he's telling on the bad guys you know I mean he's just telling on the criminals you know
I mean unless he was promoting their lifestyle which I mean is promoting YSL but like I'm not gonna reiterate my point
But basically, Gunna doesn't really rap about that gangster lifestyle, like, let's say, Takashi did.
So this type of activity from Gunna, it's not like, oh, man, I can't believe he did that.
I'm like, from the perspective of or from the perception of Gunna, the bird's eye view, a perception that I have of Gunna, it's not really a gangster.
Like, he's just a person who's rich from rapping and having a tremendous flow on my ad.
Like, the way that Gunna flows over a beat, it's kind of.
It's kind of crazy.
So yeah, I don't really, and the way he wraps about Birkins and just, I keep saying
Birkins, but just his lavish lifestyle, I think, makes him stand out in a way that I feel like
his career would be able to continue.
Now, at the same level, probably not, but continue, yes.
Like for 6'9, I don't even think he's put out music.
Not since he came out, because he definitely put out music since then.
But once he started flopping, because he was still trying to rap that gangster persona,
then he just stopped putting out music for gunna i think he'll be able to rap about his lavish lifestyle
and still be fine so you know i mean who knows he may come out with an album called master splinter
so anyways uh click my link to in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think
about gunna and his whole situation with ysell and the hip-hop industry and the streets in general
he has a lot of different situations he needs to uh he needs to get get straight straight now what
what the migo say uh just a little bit of straightening let's just say gunna needs a little bit of that
so anyways i click my link to your my bio let me know in one of my social medias what do you think
about gunna's latest snippets since being released from prison and do you think he can continue
his rap career
