Starting point is 00:00:01 At first, I had to check myself. No way, we have Ariel from Disney out here rapping over Gunnas, What You Mean, which, you know, has a more explicit title, but of course, this is a PG podcast. But then, after doing a little bit more research, of course, I come to find out that it was her sister who rapped over Gunnas, What You Mean, instrumental. Now, let me tell you some ladies and gentlemen. I don't know what it is about non-wrappers trying to put out verses,
Starting point is 00:00:36 but they just make you appreciate the actual rappers who are doing it right. Because not only did we have Chloe Bailey over the past week giving us an at atrocious attempt at rapping, but then we had the one and only Stefan Curry Instead of hitting threes in the gym This man Was trying to shoot his shot in the studio And let me tell you something
Starting point is 00:01:09 He was not hitting at all All of it was just straight misses Like if it was an actual NBA game You would have thought This man needed to be drug tested The way that he was missing all these shots I mean bar after bar double entendre after triple entendre
Starting point is 00:01:28 just none of that was existing throughout his entire verse it was just straight up mediocre garbage so when you come to Chloe Bailey of course she doesn't fare any better in the rap arena let's just leave it at that and especially Steph Craig that man needs to leave rap alone and I don't know what he thought what was going through his head putting out that free sale
Starting point is 00:01:55 but he just needs to leave it. You know, the only person from the NBA who can come across and actually have a successful rap career is, you guessed it, Mr. John Moran himself, and y'all let me know why that is. So anyways, let's get into the actual successful twin.
Starting point is 00:02:12 No, I'll just play. That's kind of harsh. Let's get to the other twin. As Haley Berry, of course, starred in Ariel from Disney, live action version of The Little Mermaid, and she's putting out new music. Now, it's like a, I'm not going to say salt and pepper because they both rap, but it's like an interesting yin-yang with Chloe Bailey transitioning into Haley Bailey putting out this music because she's just strictly singing. And let me tell you something in this track that she just put out titled Angel is Straightfire.
Starting point is 00:02:44 I don't know if they're going to use it from some type of music or soundtrack in the future. But this beat for Angel just sounds like a movie like a movie like a. sound it sounds like a movie intro or movie outro because the whole topic of it covers a lot of areas the versatility of her singing ability basically sonically she sounds amazing reminded me of when ariana gande went from uh victorious to actually having a pop star type career with her singing ability just being obviously better than if not everybody on the on the planet like that's what i was hearing while listening to haley berry perform hopefully i'm saying her name right hallie berry perform angel because that track vocally vocally sonically uh production wise sounded and was
Starting point is 00:03:45 amazing like i really enjoyed it and i would bet that this track angel by okay I don't know if it's Holly or Haley y'all just got to get mad at me but Haley Barry is just going to have to be put on some type of soundtrack sometime soon because I didn't know she could sing like that
Starting point is 00:04:06 obviously she was in Ariel and The Little Mermaid which I've heard was phenomenal having seen it myself but I do believe that these Disney artists have other talents that sometimes are suppressed being under the Disney umbrella and the first
Starting point is 00:04:21 show that really showed me that, I mean, unironically not trying to, it's not a pun, but the first show that showed me that was victorious, which ironically came up with Ariana Grande having a humongous pop star career. So hopefully Holly Bailey can do the same thing. And this single is just not one hit. Or hopefully this performance for Angel isn't a fluke because I feel like she really has something here. If she follows this up with the whole album filled with these type of just sonically amazing tracks it's um it's only up because the type of the type of promotion she has right now the type of backing being co-signed by biance it's a very interesting scenario to find herself in and as you can see and hear an angel she very much
Starting point is 00:05:16 deserves it deserves it because she's a really talented singer so we're going to see where she gets to in the future but as for right now i'd be interested to see how this track performs because it's not only good enough just to be considered a nice singer i mean just as brandy sometimes you want sales and numbers to go along with it so anyways um click my link tree in my bio let me know in one of my social medias what do you think about holly bailey's oh i i didn't pronounce a name so many different What do you think about Haley Barry's new single titled Angel and do you think is fire or trash?
