Starting point is 00:00:03 Now first off, I know it's the Christmas season and we're about to dive into the Hasbin Hotel Season 2 of original soundtrack, but I got to clap it up for y'all. As when it comes to analytics, you know, it's towards the end of the season. Let's just say I had no idea that the Hasbin supporters was so supportive for my coverage of the original trailer for Hasbin Hotel Season 2. Now, enough about me, I just wanted to give my immense gratitude to the people who enjoyed my has-been coverage so safe to say because of that large amount of support and not only because of that because we're going to get into in a second but i wanted to dive into has-been hotel
Starting point is 00:00:46 season two once again as far specifically the original soundtrack as you know over here at notorious mass effect we cover the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses and safe to say it was higher when it first started currently it's the 11th most no it's the 17th most played project in the world and we're talking about a soundtrack but overall when it first came out it was because the producers of this show is a 24 under amazon mgm studios safe to say this is has been hotels as far as the franchise's strongest musical release of all time to the point where it had a massive commercial breakthrough as far as just people who are casuals and are and they aren't into the has been hotel ecosystem.
Starting point is 00:01:40 They start to learn about it. They listen to the actual soundtrack and they enjoyed it to the point where it broke Billboard top 10 as far as being in the top 10. And it had 125 million streams in two weeks. Now, of course, you already know if your longtime listeners of the podcast, the several amounts of segments that I was putting to covering K-pop Demon Hunter, safe to say, this is the second most successful soundtrack well no my fault the third because we have the wicket for good soundtrack can't disrespect ariana grande right so the third most successful soundtrack currently on the charts
Starting point is 00:02:24 now the reason why i'm diving deep into this not only because of the support but because it actually made the charts it's not just it's half a passion segment half it actually is notoriously affecting the masses in the field that i cover so when you come back to the actual analytics and you come to realize that the demand for this particular soundtrack made it to where season three is already completed musically and promises fan desired duets in the expanded universe as far as the heaven slash hell interactions which if you're completely oblivious to the storyline if you're saying to yourself what in the world is going on and has been hotel well i'm glad you asked as when it comes to has been hotel i'm not going to spoil anything i just want to let you know the premise so simply
Starting point is 00:03:10 there's a princess of hell believing that sinners can be redeemed and earn their way into heaven. That's as simple as it gets, right? It's a great show. But overall, I just want to break it down in lamest terms. Against everyone's mockery as far as the princess of hell, she opens the has-been hotel, a rehab center to clean up demon souls. Now, if that doesn't sound like a fire plot or a fire synopsis, then I don't know what to tell you, man. you guys see that's the problem i don't know what to tell you so that's basically what's going on throughout the show a lot more intricate details are you know could be said but i don't want to spoil anything
Starting point is 00:03:48 i just wanted to let you know the premise so when it comes to the soundtrack specifically it came out november 19th and it has 20 tracks in length it's 45 minutes oh no it's 20 tracks total 45 minutes in length and they have all type of vinals they have even uh is that a cassette player what in the world i actually don't know what those look like by i i i don't know what those look like by I'm pretty sure that's a cassette player. Let me click on that just to make sure that I'm not. That is a cassette. Hey, I told y'all.
Starting point is 00:04:16 You know what I'm 25 going on 80. That's how I knew what that was. Anyways, that being said, they're selling a lot of things when it comes to Hasbin Hotel. And safe to say, they're receiving a lot of support. As when they were, I believe they was nominated for the billboard slash AMAs, it spiked 20% as far as postseason. So when you come to the actual soundtrack, the actual show, A lot of the music, musical elements was uplifted by some of the nominations that they received.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Because when it first came out, like I said, it debuted at number 70 on Billboard 200. But it jumped into the top 10, right? Specifically number 8. First top 10 entry ever. And it has been Hotel Franchise History. If you look at season one, wondering how that did, you probably think it to yourself, well, hold up now. Was season one soundtrack, not as listen to like season two? not exactly. Season 1 soundtrack was definitely listened to but it peaked at 13 which is still a phenomenal
Starting point is 00:05:15 accomplishment but when it comes to season two of Hasman Hotel seems like everybody are flocking towards the soundtrack more than season one. So then I already talked about the sales specifically and you look at season two outpacing season one about 30% as far as his first week streams which also showcase how the supporters and the foundation is just building upon it. itself as more and more people start to get acclimated with the has been hotel ecosystem because even for me when I covered the the trailer it came across my timeline and it looked pretty interesting to me I don't know what made me cover it but I'm glad I did right I'm definitely glad I did as y'all support was through the roof so if I wanted to return to my coverage of has been hotel I wanted to have
Starting point is 00:06:00 something to say specifically to give has been hotel support of something to feel proud of Y'all came together and basically lifted a lot of different tracks from not only season two, but just a show in general, because there's a whole show and the musical elements are just a part of it. So as far as the music side that was specifically deep-dopping into, gravity seems to be the most successful track from the soundtrack. And then love in the bottle seems to be the second, which is close to losing street. But those are unequivocally, the top three performing tracks off of the soundtrack. Now, when you look at the visual promo, those are doing well as, as well. well as it has over 110 million plus views 10.5 million engagements on season two specific promotional clips so now you look at the streams of the show you look at the streams of the
Starting point is 00:06:48 soundtrack you see that they have physicals as far as five vinyl variants CDs cassettes and how they were sold out before pre-order safe to say a lot of the sale well not a lot but you know there's a good much there's a good number of sales that came from merch specifically 20% of all sales from merch bundles. So when you come to realize that Hasman Hotel is very multifaceted, there's a reason why people are in love with the franchise, like I was just saying, I mean, to the point where I was like, hold on now, I know this actor, and you're probably wondering what I'm talking about,
Starting point is 00:07:24 analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio, as I have a tab over here, and it's basically, it's showcasing, I totally forgot his name. why i forget his name i don't know why i forgot his name anyways they showcasing a famous actor basically talking about uh the behind the scenes of love in the bottle well he's getting filmed while he's doing the scenes and i was like i definitely know him from from certain movies i don't know specifically why this is not playing um let me just try to pull it back up here you go yeah w tech guy okay nope that's not it there we go ah here we go okay so this is the behind the scenes i don't know
Starting point is 00:08:01 why i froze like that so as you can see he's basically having a camera on him while they also showed the show and what he was uh voice acting and singing and he's he's getting into it i would play the music but you know of course we don't do we don't play music over here for copyright reasons so anyways the main thing i was wanted to tell you is they have really highly acclaimed actors and voice actors of playing their roles and enjoying it to the point where a lot of people realize that this may be from a musical aspect one of the best shows you could watch as far as listening to high quality songs and also getting a high quality story as I already told you as far as the premise of what
Starting point is 00:08:38 has been hotel is about so now now you look at episode five and six of the EP reaching top top 10 as far as on Apple music and you see that losing street hits Spotify global top two so I'm just talking about how the peaks happened as far as on different platforms so now already talked about the nominations already talked about the tracks on the soundtrack the main thing I was going to get across is that this just came out not too recently so we're not too long ago so you have the season run of season two going from October 29th to November 19 and then guess what this guess when the soundtrack came out November 19th and it still was able to have a notorious
Starting point is 00:09:23 effect on the masses even after the track even after the show was completed so now you're looking at it from a totality standpoint you put out the soundtrack and it still goes top 10 more specifically number eight as far as the most popular projects which not even soundtracks we're talking about a grand day we're talking about taylor swift we're talking about morgan walling k-pop demon hunters i mean it was up there with some of the greatest projects i know not greatest but you know the most listened to projects in the world so that's a phenomenal accomplishment hence me stating that the soundtrack by itself has put up numbers because it came out after the show was completed so It's, I think it's one of the more interesting deep dives and studies for me specifically,
Starting point is 00:10:09 seeing what people gravitate towards or gravitate too as far as my coverage specifically. Because me covering the entire music and gaming industry, there's a lot of different sectors where I get certain fan bases or supporters who enjoy the platform, whether it's the K-pop Demon Hunter's fan base, whether it's the Lady Gaga supporters, whether it's the Hasman hotels. I'm naming some of the things that definitely in the year of 2025 made me realize that me branching out was one of the greatest decisions I've ever made in notorious mass effect. So with that being said, I don't want to keep going because I don't want to spoil anything
Starting point is 00:10:43 as far as the story. But the soundtrack was phenomenal. Hopefully season three is not too far out because of course, like they already reported, season three is already completed musically. And once again, it promises fans desired duets in the expanded heaven slash hell interaction. So with that being said, click my link sure in my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. what do you think about has been hotel have you listened to the whole soundtrack or have you watched the show and if you haven't will you be giving it a watch
