So we're back at it again, you know, three years into the, three years, three months into the year. And nobody, and I mean nobody, respectfully, of course, has dropped. And it led me to settle and talk about hit boy releasing his own album. And I know what you're thinking. Hit Boy is a phenomenal producer, a Grammy Award winning producer. And yes, you would be right. but attached to that producer Grammy win is one of the greatest rapists ever called Dodds and if you didn't hear me I said nods like the person who wrote ether so um let's

just say he had a little bit of help for that Grammy win but this is not a hip boy hate segment this is basically acknowledging the fact that because of the lack of drops from artists that we made of one full-length project from, we have to settle for a producer rapping over his own beats. Think about that. Three months into the year. So anyways, yeah, so hip-boy dropped the album for some reason called Dripper, not Dripper Drown, a Surfer Drown. So I guess it's like a gun or dis or something. But anyways, yeah, for some reason, he felt like dropping an album on some Kanye West type stuff. And the only reason I'm saying that is because it's pretty, um, obvious at this point that he wants to go from producing to rapping as he's rapping all over this

album and the first track is literally him acapella just rapping and trying to show you how he can get these bars off now it's 11 track EP I did look through the project it seemed like there's a lot of instrumentals so I think it's half hit boy rapping and half instrumentals I'm listening to the whole project so I'm definitely not going to give a review I never do that I feel like that's disrespectful. But as far as just him being a producer dropping the album that I'm talking about, it's kind of like I don't want to talk about producer dropping the album, rapping over his own beats because it just points out the fact that nobody that we want to drop

is actively making or rolling out their project. Like currently there's a lot of artists that could kick off 2023, Cardi B really being one of them. Nikki Minaj did come out with a red ruby on the sleeve that may be a rollout to an album, but right now it seems like music as far as the hip-hop scene is kind of dry. And I don't know what's up with this drop spell. There's so many different artists that could drop. And I feel like we're just being let down with the lack of releases.

Like, of course, we have singles, a lot of singles from artists we enjoy. Like Juice World has a single out. Little Wayne has that DMX single out. Like I just stated, Nikki Minaj, Red Ruby on. the sleeve is one of the better tracks of the year honestly um but niki's just on a whole net level uh so it's not really fair but she dropped a single but as far as full-length projects i'm left to talk i'm left to settle with a producer rapping over his own beats so anyways click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about hit boy dropping
