Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, of course, over here at the notorious mass effect, we've already dove into Ian Cordova once before. As far as this particular track, Linda Mujir, hopefully I'm saying that right, because of course, when we dove into it, we talked about how he's a regional Mexican musician, definitely on the rise, as we've covered a plethora of Latin musicians over here in notorious massific. And the main thing, when you look at Linda Mujer, which is a romantic ballad fusing a lot of corridors with pop. It was released May 1st, 2025. and of course peaked at number 30 in Mexico specifically, and number 14 on YouTube as far as Mexico specifically, and number 69 in Apple Music, Mexico.
Starting point is 00:00:44 So when you look at that in totality, it's safe to say he already had himself a hit in 2025, but he's already back again, especially in Mexico, having a 27th most played track in Mexico with his track Ti Amo Ymi Amas, which hopefully I'm saying that right. But as far as that particular,
Starting point is 00:01:02 track, let's just say it's notoriously affected the masses currently. And of course, he didn't stop there, as there's a particular track out by, of course, Ian Cordova, featuring Manuel Rodriguez and Jordani, hopefully I'm saying that right, a Jordani 7, as his title Estello GTA. I love the cover for that particular track, and that may be the game were coming out and me pause, because, you know, of course, when over here, we cover the music and gaming IPs that notoriously affect the masses. So I love when they always come together so effortlessly.
Starting point is 00:01:37 So Estello GTA is the latest single just released out Thursday by Ian Cordova. But the main purpose for this particular segment is diving into Tiamo Y. Mi Amas. Because of course, when you look at it as far as its reach, safe to say, once again, TikTok is rearing his head as the most authentic tool you can use as a musician in the game as over 900,000 plus followers. Ian Cordova has on TikTok. And of course, when you look at his Spotify, it's really substantial to the point where he has seven million monthly listeners and is only rising because of this specific track that he has right now as far as Tiamo, Y, me, I think it's Amos. I think that's how you say Amos. So looking at his career in the year of 2025, he's definitely a rising Latin
Starting point is 00:02:27 musician. And even though his upbringing was split between Mexico and the United States, And safe to say, a lot of Latin musicians that we've covered is really rising on the charts to the point where the market share in the music industry is interestingly going to a lot of other genres outside of hip hop, whether it's a Paisal Pluma, whether it's a neat and Vega, whether it's a, um, well, the tracks that, I mean, well, the artists. I mean, it's a lot of other artists that we've covered, especially if I just go to my analytics. A lot of people really enjoy just the Mexican coverage in general. And of course, when you look at the specific tracks that we're, we dove into whether it's yeah okay i don't know how i forgot these people so tito double p me banda el mexicano panther bellico like there's a lot of different like musicians that we dove into over the course of this year and ian cordova is definitely one of the more recent rising musicians especially when you look at the charts and his um uh his basically his resume of being on
Starting point is 00:03:25 the charts because he hasn't been on a charts often but of course when you look at his discography he started in 2022 with his first track officially on DSPs being released in January 4th, 2022 with his track J1 Clave as Special. So now when you look at his albums, interestingly enough, he only has one album that came out May 24th of 2024. And that was titled Peace Stiando con amigos, volume two. So I don't know if he was more of a mixtape artist because if it says volume two, I'm assuming there's a volume one and maybe that's more on the mixtape platform. So as far as DSPs, he hasn't been as present on a Mexico charts, but in the year of 2025 alone, he's had a very successful year.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And with his year, I think Linda Muzier helped out a lot, especially with him going at number four on the Billboard's hot Latin songs chart. And with tracks like Lucifer, with the GTA track that he just recently released, obviously, you know, punning 10. that he's keeping his foot on the gas as he doesn't want to let up off of this momentum so hopefully for him the ticot aspect as far as marketing on ticot successfully continues for him for the foreseeable future because i think that's really was helping out a lot for his uh musical career because when linda muzier was a very successful track i think he put out an ep for that particular yeah he put out an ep for that and that was august 28th and you know interestingly enough t i Yamowai Mi Amos was also on that EP.
Starting point is 00:05:03 It was four tracks in total 14 minutes of length. So a very quick listen if you just want to listen to as Linda Muzer EP. But let's just say his consistency and his knack for finding certain regional Mexican instrumentation that's resonating with the masses, especially in Mexico. And then of course, his themes that he periodically revisits, whether it's romantic devotion, whether it's ambition and loyalty. A lot of people enjoy that. And then also, he implements a lot of street culture references, whether it's the squarface imagery. So him as a musician, I think a lot of people love when it's authenticity in your music. And it's safe to say
Starting point is 00:05:47 that's how he comes across, especially in his TikTok promotion when he's clipping up a lot of his music and putting it out to the masses. Like I keep saying, TikTok is essentially one of the best authentic tools you can use to promote your music. And with that being said, safe to say, Ian Cordova is doing that to the utmost degree as it definitely helped him get another chart topping, but not chart topping,
Starting point is 00:06:11 but definitely a chart impactful track with T. Amos being the 27th most played track in Mexico. So that being said, click my link to your in my bio, let me know in one of my social media is. What do you think about Ian Cordova with his track, Tiaamo, Y, Me, Amos, And at the end of the day in the year of 2025, who's your favorite Latin musician? And what's your favorite Latin track of 2025?
