Starting point is 00:00:04 First off, I want to say, God bless you, get through 23 minutes of Ice Spice content. Because, of course, Lord knows that I can't do it. So what we're specifically going to Target for this album is the track with Travis Scott, with the track O Expetive. That's a PG podcast. So we're titled, Oh, and basically you can say, fish like s and in three right anyways this track is with travis scott obviously is a 23 minute project so if it flops they're probably going to call it the EP I saw a glowrella's team pulled the same thing last year her album
Starting point is 00:00:50 they didn't do as well which is very interesting because this year her album's doing phenomenal but as far as ice spice they're doing a very similar marketing strategy so 23 minutes of material technically an EP, if it flops, they could come out and say, that wasn't my album. Even though they've been promoting this album, like it's been going out of style. Like, no pun intended. The way that she's attached yourself to Central Seat, Travis Scott, and then to find out that Gunna is also on the album,
Starting point is 00:01:19 very interesting because, of course, with her previous tracks that she dropped, it had no type of impact on the charts. I'm talking about fat butt. I mean, who would have thought that wouldn't have stuck, right? give me a light fisher remix but the one before that which is thank you to expedite actually has some traction on a course but that was released for 829 24 it is by 26 so safe to say after fisher remix give me a light and fat but straight out flopping she decided to actually take my advice and attach yourself to other notable names so in comes the central seat in comes to
Starting point is 00:02:01 Travis Scott and now what do you know the track with Central C is a 60 second most play track in the of course this is the debut number so it could slide before as of right now track with since Ice Spice is a second most track in the world so of course with album out now on all DSP with the whole fashion world just loving how Ice Spice is just wearing nothing getting all the attention and they're also making music that's beyond mediocre but people still consume it as far as the effect in the masses and you would say as hate but i challenge you listen to that entire 23 let me know i'm tripping right so anyways um on the bright side ice spice did get nominated for best collaboration and video of the year barbie world of course with nicky man and aqua at the
Starting point is 00:03:01 also nominated for best female hip hop artist uh... twenty twenty four beat and also named the twenty twenty four women and music hit maker honoree a billboard anyways the real MVP to me throughout this whole ice spice saga is right i don't know who needs to do it somebody needs to put a drake and collaborate with ice spice just I'm telling you right now that man is doing Lord's work. The way that he actually makes Ice Spice music serviceable to the masses is a masterclass in itself. I mean, he's probably one of the best engineers in the game right now, but he's able to turn.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Also, you know, just going off of that, the controversies surrounding her and Nicky Minaj was very politically, uh, basically it was correctly handled by iSpice when she asked about it she basically said she always has love for nicky minage miscommunication when the league test came out basically showcasing her true feelings towards nicky minage you know she backtracked saying she didn't mean to say that you know for the moment stuff like that and then she was like uh nick he's a legend icon which is a smart thing to do in no world should any woman rapper go against nicky minot And the reason why I say that is because the vitriro that women have for each other when it comes to beating, I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I thought the guys got it basically put it up and stuck as Cardi B said it. But as you've seen, multiple incidents, one of them being the notorious fashion of it where Cardi literally threw a hill at Nicky Minaj's head. Stuff like that is how I know when women. rapper's beef it gets pretty serious so um yeah do not beef with the barbs i like what you're doing as far as attaching yourself to already hot names that's why i think this track is actually on the charts but as far as your album i don't see it going anywhere the Travis scott and gunna additions to the album will probably give it more sales Travis scott would definitely have to be main uh attraction as far as people coming to this album because of track having Travis Scott on it is a big accomplishment
Starting point is 00:05:27 itself but at the same time with your friendship with Taylor Swift including the collaboration with karma and of course the incident with Matt Healy subsequent public reaction reactions and apologies built up more hype for you but now that that's dying down you may have to start leaning on toward or towards your activity and you know I'm not a prophet but I'm just going to guess that she doesn't have. That be it said, I think her attaching herself Travis Sky is the best way to go. So, but there's 23 minutes of
Starting point is 00:06:04 audio from Ice Spice titled Y2K on all DSPs. My link to my bio, let me know one of my social media. You be doing the Lord's work by listening to the body of work. And if you do, what is your favorite track? track or on the other hand what is your what do you think is the worst track off of ice spice album y2k
