When talking about Jay Hope, Junk Cook v. Sugar, a lot of different artists as far as in the Cape Pop community are running rampant when it comes to the charts.
To the point where getting into BTS in general coming back reportedly April 2025, well, April of this year, of course, because when it comes to an interview,
Jay Hope was the one to come out and break the news that BTS's future reunion will be April
2025.
And he said that in his interview with Apple Music One, if you just want to go check that out.
The reason why I'm saying that is because his current track is out right now,
killing it girl featuring Glorilla, pun intended, is actually killing it analytically.
As when you look at the charts as far as future chart predictions,
is slated to be the third most play track in the world.
So as far as future chart predictions slated for June 28th,
killing it girl is said to be the third most play track in the world.
Currently, though, this track is the 40th most play track in the world.
So it's already, it already had a phenomenal debut.
One of the artists that came out as far as prison,
and of course when it comes to hip-hop,
I thought he was going to have more of an outstanding impact, especially putting out a track with one of the more prominent artists in Atlanta when it comes to future.
But when Young Thug put out seemingly his first day out type of track titled Money on Money with Future, it debuted around like the 70th most play track in the world.
And then now is nowhere to be found on the charts.
So what do we have to do with that?
Well, one could say people are tired of hip hop.
But then, of course, you get to Big X to plug being one of the performers analytically for hip hop.
You have Playb McCarty putting up one of the best first week sales we've seen for an album in the past five years.
And then you have, of course, your icons, your longevity artist when it comes to Drake and Kendrick continuing to push hip hop forward as far as being.
one of the top artists to engage the masses in hip hop so when i'm looking at other artists usually
as far as last year we would be seeing an ice spice i know i know i know you even got to say it
but this is objectively speaking how last year was uh ice spice was on there at a certain point
and then you had sexy red then you had glowrilla safe to say it was a lot more variety you had lotto
there's a lot more variety on the charts than it is now.
You had future Metro going crazy.
2025 is just not the same.
So to see Jay Hope come out of the woodworks
with the hip-hop artist
and it's set to be the third most played track in the world
and it's already the 40th most played track currently.
But the analytics and data suggests
that it's only going to increase until, well,
it's only going to increase from here
to the point where we may be able to say that this is yet another bona fide hit from a k-pop and hip-hop collab
because everybody already knows when it comes to lotto and i think it was junk cook let me see
lotto and junk cook with their track i think it was called seven let's see jung cook okay yeah so
they had a track together titled seven and then of
course you had jack carlo coming out of woodworks because when i tell you junk was running rampant
on the charts back in 2023 it was actually insane so everybody and the mama was trying to get a feature
with him and jack carlo got that feature a lotto got a feature uh the jack carlo track with junk was
titled 3d the lotto track with a junk was titled seven so k-pop and hip-hop collabs have worked before
and this is no different as it's continuing the age old tried and tested and formula as far as both of these genres doing phenomenal especially when they collab so the the tried and true formula of putting k-pop and hip-hop together seemingly has worked again so a lot of things is going to come out because of this as far as they uh just you
John Cook is already putting together an entire project of this particular track,
just different remixes, which is insane.
We, you know, teach his own, right?
So you have killing it girl with Gorilla.
You have killing it girl, the solo version.
You have killing it girl, the instrumental.
You have killing it girl, the clean version.
You have killing it girl, the band remix.
Y'all want me keep going?
Hold on.
I got more.
I swear to you, I'm not making this up.
If you go to Jay Hope's page on DSPs as a whole project filled with one track,
like at some point, French Montana needs a sincere apology from the music industry.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
You have Killing the girl the West Coast remix.
You have Killing a girl the Brazilian funk remix.
You have Killing the girl, the electro pop remix.
And then finally, you have killing it, girl, the soul remix.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
French Montana deserves a lengthy apology.
And with that being said, let's just say that in the foreseeable future,
if your track blows up, you might as well just make all the remixes I just named and put them into a project.
Because at this point, people are just shameless with it.
So at the end of the day, I do like BTS, but I do keep it able.
more than 92. Whenever I see certain marketing tactics implemented that, I think, uh, waters down to
quality. I'm definitely going to point it out because there's no way that they have all those
remixes and they're like 100% authentic because it makes no sense. It's like if Sabrina
Claudio, uh, Sabrina Carpenter, um, who's he should, she, um, she should be at the top
of the charge. Yeah. Okay. So she currently has the number two most play track in the world.
Manchild. Uh, imagine if Sabrina Carpenter. Um, who's, he should be, she, um, she should be at the top of the top of the charge.
imagine if Sabrina carpenter put out a man child soul remix man child hip-hop version
man child just for the I can't say that one but anyway it's a PG podcast
y'all get the point these are remixes especially when they're on a track that's already
popular just seems very um manufactured and not authentic as far as trying to
captivate the masses so having a whole project filled with one track which is a bunch of
different remixes that make no sense.
That's just something I wanted to call out because I do not stand with that type of marketing
rollout.
So in general, though, the solo track by itself as far as killing a girl with Jay Hope and
Glorilla is phenomenal.
Jay Hope is the first Asian rapper to debut top three on both Billboard Global 200 and Global
Excluding the U.S.
and this is
Glorilla's first
top 10 global 200
appearance ever
so her first top 10 appearance ever
which is an insane accomplishment
and of course once again
it goes back to my point of
BTS being one of the greatest
music groups we've ever
seen in history because if
their individual members
can put out their own tracks and have traction
like this then what does that say about
BTS's overall
all iconic status in a music game so that being said click my link to my bio let me know
one of my social media's what do you think about the killing the girl track by glovilla and
j hope and at the end of the day if you did listen to the entire album filled with different remixes
which one was your favorite
