Now, of course, we have to get into the one and only Jay Hope as I've covered Jay Hope a good amount of times as far as his collaborative efforts with Don Tolliver with the track titled LV Bag that came out.
Well, I covered it in February 21st.
And of course, when it comes to the great Jay Hope and J.J. Hope and Jermaine on the track on the street, I covered that back in March 3rd.
One of the things I wanted to note with this track with Miguel is that the vocal range is on full display.
Talk about hitting all type of falsettos in this particular track and showcasing the vocal range and that you're an actual singer when you're featuring Miguel.
Because of course, when Miguel's on the track, you already know what he can do, right?
Now, Jay Hope is on the track and he's going as hard vocally as Miguel is making this track overall one of the better tracks of 2025.
I think Sweet Dreams is perfect sonically.
This track is tremendous.
And what I wanted to get across to people listening to maybe Jay Hope or just K-pop musicians for the first time is that these sounds are very palatable and are also singing in English.
It's very interesting how these particular artists come from overseas.
and basically assimilate into the culture to give us palatable music that we can also understand the words.
Because they could be singing in their native tongue, right?
But they choose to learn English and sing it in English and basically make it more palatable for American fans.
Or just for English-oriented fans who English is a native tongue.
Because if you don't know, I think as far as I don't have the, I don't know what the percentages is,
but I'm pretty sure English is one of the top languages spoken.
Actually, that's pretty, let me see, top five languages spoken.
Because I don't think I've ever looked that up before.
I'm pretty sure English is the top.
I don't know if it's by far, but I'm pretty sure it's the top.
So when it comes to the top five languages, yeah, number one is English.
Okay, like 1.5 billion total speakers, right?
and that's 18.5% of the world population and you have Mandarin Chinese which is second with 1.1.4 billion, right? So, and you have Hindi with 610 million and it just drops off from there. So technically English and Chinese is basically what Mandarin Chinese is the top languages in the world. So to assimilate, some would say you're playing a numbers game, but also it's great to know the field, right? If you want to impact,
the masses. One thing about the masses is that if you look at the numbers, they will probably
tell you what they want to hear. And this track has everything from great vocal performances,
mixed with great visuals as the music video is phenomenal. And then Miguel being on the track
as it adds another layer of just perfection when it comes to showcasing and putting on a masterclass.
on how to seem. So if you couldn't tell by now, I really enjoyed the track, Sweet Dreams,
to the point where I was like, is this going to be one of my favorite tracks of 2025? Like,
Sweet Dreams is probably one of the better tracks I've heard this year. And it's not even close.
Like, I think when you're singing and you're putting on a performance like they are in this
particular track, it showcases how, how difficult it is to perform at the time.
this level, right? Because I think for people who've never tried to sing or try to make music,
they sometimes take for granted these type of performances. But at the end of the day,
you have to put it out on Front Street. What is the high quality music being released? Because
sometimes we get confused by people who have limited vocal range putting out music. And we
confuse that as great singing. When you actually hear J. Hope and McGeighamie,
they are their true depiction of what a talented and overall perfectionist when it comes to singing looks like
and that's probably the highest compliment i could give this track because i think it's phenomenal now
when it comes to miguel when it comes to j hope they both do the thing um show showcases a lot of
hip-hop influences even in the beat when they get into the verses right especially j hope when he
he gets into his verse and so i just really appreciate the way that these uh k-pop members really
i'm not going to say they have to but i appreciate how they do assimilate to a certain point to
try to make it more palatable for um for me basically and i really enjoyed the track so
with that being said click my link to my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you
think about sweet dreams by j hope featuring mcgale and what was your favorite part about
the track
