Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, ladies and gentlemen, I'm not going to lie to you. Jack Harlow has another one because the simple fact that you can put actual bars together is one thing. But then titling and executing the overall premise of trying to persuade a girl to become your girlfriend. And not only that, but persuade her mom into giving you the blessing today, her daughter, right? That is a phenomenal premise if I do so, if I do say so myself. So combine that with the fact that the entire music video is shot through CCTV and doorbell cameras and obviously showcases Jack's adventure. venture through trying to impress this girl, right?
Starting point is 00:01:06 And I don't know if y'all see the, you know, video version. Of course, analytic dreams video on Spotify, see video along with the audio. And it should be on YouTube at some point. At some point. We're getting stuff together, you know what I'm saying, getting official over here. You know what I mean? So anyways, what was I saying? Oh, yeah, I have it paused on the actual woman that's supposed to be a significant other
Starting point is 00:01:27 in the Jack Harlow video. So do have that information, which you will. obviously is on screen you know what I mean and with that being said the following comments are beyond hilarious because when I tell you people was cutting up over this girl being in the video they couldn't stand it I mean one person said what was that one line hold I'm trying to find it I think it was on IG okay so these are YouTube comments but it was a comment on IG basically saying who is that girl and can she fight and then I Obviously, there was one that was a little bit more on the serious side saying that I left the video as soon as I saw the YT woman, which is, you know, their code for anti-Dr. Umar. You know what I'm saying? Oh, no, actually, it would be pro-Dakumar, technically if you leave the video because you see a Y-T, right? So that's just funny how they just nickname that. But anyways, somebody else said that there's motion at your door.
Starting point is 00:02:41 is fire. You know, having that as the actual takeaway from this overall track is beyond hilarious. I don't know why I find these comments so hilarious, but people are just actually hilarious when it comes to these tracks. Somebody says, somebody says, Jack Harlow always has the wildest lines whenever he gets into his track. It was pineapple juice. Then he's vanilla boy.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Now he's starting to song off. about touching you. Y'all are some comedians. I feel like Jack Harlow has that academics type of comment section. Like, people just turn into Dave Chappelle himself when they get into
Starting point is 00:03:26 these comments section. Somebody said, oh, they're talking about him not putting out music for a while, which we'll get into in a second. They said, Jack remembered his YouTube password finally. And somebody said, I want to go to that. Hold on, let me go to the Instagram, because now the Instagram was cooking him because
Starting point is 00:03:43 I'm not going to get too much into what they had to say about the girl because obviously, you know, they was hating asking if she could fight, you know, because all the girls love Jack Carlo, but it was, you know, hard press to find out whenever he's not with a certain ethnicity, you know, then they feel played. You know what I'm saying? So with that being said, it's definitely understanding. But with the song titled to Miss Johnson, it's definitely, is ambiguous the word. which is me the quality of being yeah it's ambiguous hey there we go you all I'm saying a little wordle for you anyway it's my fault um hello miss Johnson could be black could be white you know I mean could be any ethnicity
Starting point is 00:04:28 you know depending on what the colonizers decided to do at that point in time right so now fast forward to 500 years later everybody got the name Johnson I wonder how that happened right we don't want to talk about it right But anyways, y'all know how we ended up with the same last name. Hey, video version, analytic dreams video version.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Y'all know how we ended up with that name. Y'all think all these Johnson's big and buff for no reason. Had them end up. All right, let me chill. Anyways, yeah, so hello, Miss Johnson. You know, it's a very interesting track. But the comment section is beyond hilarious. Somebody said, get that baby out of here.
Starting point is 00:05:11 You know, I don't know what that means. Somebody said get out of my driveway. Somebody said I loved it. Somebody said this is Ms. Jackson, not Ms. Johnson. What else? That was basically it. I just wanted to say that his comment section is beyond hilarious. I mean, the amount of hilarious sentiments towards the actual track is, especially when it comes to the music video.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Because I don't think any other artists, have been able to pull this off like Jack Carlo for the simple fact that people don't take him as serious because when you're looking at Jack Carlo and then you're looking at the overall premise of the story that he's telling is a heartfelt and very self-deprecating type of track for the simple fact that you're trying to get the blessing of her mom through an actual chorus right because the overall words that you're putting together is um i feel like it's only doable by uh jack harlowe because of the way that people look at him like imagine if little baby came out this type of track they would tell him to go back to the trap and roll some dice right which is
Starting point is 00:06:32 definitely racist but on other hand jack harlowe playing into his yt privilege is something I appreciate for the simple fact that some people out here, aka Tommy Richman, act like they're too good to make actual rap tracks. And they talk about how they're not a rapper. So whenever Jack Harlow is getting into these sentimental, self-deprecating tracks, laying out a story in only a way that he could,
Starting point is 00:07:05 it's very apparent that he wants to be taken serious as a rapper, which I think is very, very, very important. We have so many people from outside the culture trying to blow up through using black people, right? Then once they blow up, now all of a sudden they're making pop, they're making country, they're making other types of music. They're not rapping anymore.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Jack Harlow is putting together an entire body, well, an entire track of just bars, of just trying to persuade his significant other to follow. love with him trying to persuade her mom to give him the blessing all while putting on a high-tier display of lyricism too many times people get the benefits from the support of black culture and then turn around and say i'm not with them i'm with y'all and y'all know what i mean by that so when a post Malone when a little dicky when a Tommy Richman completely disregards their current fan base that got them popping to go into a whole other venture to go into a whole other genre you have to respect the ones like Jack Harlow who come back and actually care about the craft of rapping didn't just
Starting point is 00:08:37 use rap to get on to other things he actually come even if he does use it because everybody uses rap right he still comes back and puts effort into showing and showcasing that he cares for the actual craft of rapping which is putting words together at a top tier uh rate right so um shout out to jack harlowe i've always been a jack harlowe fan um this track is definitely up his lane you know more of the marshmallow vibe as far as the the soft the soft the softy persona that he's portraying right here during this track. And then of course, the actual music video,
Starting point is 00:09:15 dang, I still have it paused on the girl. All right, so let me just full screen this so y'all can see. So anyways, let me mute that. So anyways, I don't think they'll flag
Starting point is 00:09:25 if I play it muted, right? I don't know. Anyway, so this is the girl that everybody was getting, you know, mad over and stuff and, you know, it's just,
Starting point is 00:09:33 uh, I think it's just more of a, deeper conversation. But with that being said, some of the other things I wanted to get into was definitely Jack Harlow success from last year because when you're talking about
Starting point is 00:09:48 Jack Harlow, you're also talking about the what was a track call? It wasn't first class. Oh, loving on me. Okay, so this track came out after Jackman, I believe. And basically, it has so much success
Starting point is 00:10:05 where it had me thinking to myself. Does this man not have an album ready? Because Loving on Me is a perfect single for an album. He just put out Jackman. And then right after that, he put out Loving on Me, which just went crazy on the charts. Basically, it was like in the top five for a while. I don't have the actual specific tracks. But it was one of the more impactful tracks of late,
Starting point is 00:10:33 23 and early 2024. And it's very interesting how there was no album to release. to capitalize off of the success of that. Because obviously he had Jackman, Jackman, which in all intents and purposes, going back to my point about actually respecting the craft, him rapping over Jackman got a lot of people back on his side as the whole pop feel with Come Home to Kids Miss You
Starting point is 00:11:00 was not the route that a lot of people was respecting for the simple fact that he was trying to find a hit. He wasn't just putting his own sentiments into a rap and then letting that speak for itself, which is why I like this track so much, because it's not going, there's no popular sample playing in the background a hundred times. There's no superstar to give him a feature to give him an iconic verse like Drake, you know. There's no Justin Timberlake to run to for a chorus. It's just him storytelling and putting on a master class display of just how to rap, right?
Starting point is 00:11:36 So off of that, Miss Johnson and then the actual Lovin' On Me track, being on the same project, I think could end up marking a resurgence in a bounce back for Jack Harlow. Because obviously, when it comes to numbers, this man is fine. Like, he's put up some phenomenal numbers with Loving on Me. And that was just earlier this year. So it's not like he's falling off in that sense. I think that would be the time when you're like, okay, let's actually pump the brakes. Because of course, similar to LeBron, this man's acting career, people were saying that's why the music quality wasn't as high. But if you remember, 2003 reboot of White Man Can't Jump was basically followed up by Jackman and the album was still phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:12:34 And then of course, Jack Harlow has been scheduling tours for 2024 and 2025. And with that, I don't, I actually don't know too much about live performances. I don't know how well he is as far as, like, what he uses for his overall showcase live. But anyways, getting back into this track, I think this is going to be a very successful track. it's not going to have it's not going to have high replayability for the simple fact that it's a it's a lyrical heavy track usually those don't fare too well on the charts as far as longevity but as far as the quality level which is what you should look for for your second single after already having a hit single with loving on me this same year I think that's a great follow-up for loving on me as far as the the miss johnson try Of course, reading through the lines, I'm not going to spend too much time on this because I've already spent a good amount. But him saying that was it you that gave the eyes to her I'd be lost in? That's a fire.
Starting point is 00:13:46 That's a fire bar. And when people say IG captions, a lot of them was given by Drake. Let's just say Jack Hollow gave a lot of IG captions with that one. That's a pretty fire bar. I mean, he has a lot of fire bars. I think one of my favorite bars from him in this particular track, because obviously of all time I have to think about. But as far as this particular track, other than the eyes bar, I think it was verse two. Oh yeah, say goodbye to Domino's. Let's get you some pasta.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Don't need no doctor to help you with your posture. You're walking around head high. That's why I said hi. That's why I came up to you poking my chest out, pressed out, trying to make you mind for the same. of humankind. How do you get so wise must have taken some time. I can't help but wonder what your parents make of you and I. It's just a very simplistic and overall message to your significant other, but also staying in the confines of rhyming words and rapping. Like it's, it's a very unique. I ain't a lie because rappers nowadays don't care. I don't know if y'all know that.
Starting point is 00:15:05 But as far as, you know, spin the block twice or just saying gibberish on the beat, you know, to the point where people are asking when the English version coming out, it's nice to see people putting words together at this high tier rate that Jack Carlo is doing. So with that being said, shout out to Jack Carlo. Thank. I'm glad that he's actually putting effort into rapping. It's like when Nikki, Tyler the creator Kendrick when they actually showcase like how far you could take rap when you put actual effort it makes you respect them and just
Starting point is 00:15:47 be grateful that they are here to push your genre for it because a lot of these rappers just don't care. It's just a walk and lick to them. So anyways with that be it said click my link to show in my bio let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about Jack Hollow's latest track, Miss Johnson? And do you think that Jack Hollow can end up having a hit with this track. If not, then at the very least, do you think this track is fire or trash?
