And also, when it comes to the reasonable doubt album, if you don't know, Its first week sales was only 43,000 copies. You guys, see, that's the problem. But then you come to realize, Jay-Z just brought out 45,000 people for one night for him to perform an album that did 43,000 in his first week, which goes to show that longevity is something that cannot be replicated when it comes to Jay-Z's

statute in hip-hop, because of course, Whenever you think about first week sales, you think if you're going to sell 43,000 first week in today's age, decades later, you probably won't be able to bring out 45,000 fans for that one night of you performing that same album. But Jay-Z was able to do that as not only does it demonstrate the strength of Jay-Z's catalog, but when it comes to the competitive nature of the hip-hop game, it showcases that Jay-Z not only set him, apart from 99.9% of rappers, except for the goat. Is it okay? You know what I'm saying? Let's not get twisted. But, you know, when it comes to the majority of rappers, Jay-Z has separated himself. But of course, when it comes to the analytical data of these particular nights, you know, we have to dive into it because we are getting into Jay-Z's three-night stadium residency at Yankees Stadium. has he ever had this type of three-night run ever in his career? Because, of course, selling out a stadium for three nights in a row, I don't care when you do it, is a phenomenal accomplishment. And of course, Jay-Z did have prior stadium runs. Like in 2013, when he had Legends of the Summer Jam, well, not Summer Jam, but Legends of the Summer with Justin Timberlake, 2010. He had Home and Home with M&M, which we're going to get to in the second.

Night 2 had 45,832 tickets sold, broke the record that set the previous night. And of course, the first two nights combined is 90,748. And when it comes to the overall demand, of course they had to add in Knight 3 that he titled Extra Endings. That

wasn't originally planned. It was only two nights. But because of the tremendous support from the Hope Avengers, I mean from the Jay-Z fans, they came out and drove so they added. at another night called Extra Endings. And with this combined with the other two nights, I mean, it just showcased that Jay-Z's on a whole other level when it comes to longevity and hip-hop. Because not only did he bring out Beyonce, not only did he bring out his daughter, Blue Ivy,

he also brought out Nas. I said he also brought out Nas. I know that ain't who I think it is. Now, when it comes to Nas, some would say that he did Jay-Z the same way that Kendrick did Drake, you know what I'm saying? okay, I got my dope on me. But that's just me. You know, I'm 26 going on 80,

so of course I was not alive when those two old gentlemen was going back and forth. But guess what? It seemed like Jay-Z got a whooping himself and still managed to be successful in the rap game. The only difference,

the astute difference, is that Jay-Z didn't suit. But besides that point, he also brought out Alicia Keys. He brought out Memphis Bleak, and of course he brought out Jazzo. Now, some of the highlights from Night 3 is, of course,

Beyonce performing, I can't knock the hustle and her throwing up the rock. I think we have it right. Yeah, here we go. It's right here. So basically, when it comes to Eminem coming out, the Great White Hope himself had to come out and showcase that he still has it, right? Because some will say it's the biggest hijack of a, hijacking of a song in hip hop history. You know what I'm saying? But then you know what I'm saying?

I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And it's unfortunate that the Great White Hope of Hip Hop had to do that to one of of hip-hop's notorious rappers as far as Jay-Z. But Eminem came out and did his thing on Renegade, so he had to come out decades later and do his thing again on a live stage. And of course, J-Z brought out Slick Rick.

He had major performances like the rulers back. Of course, Renegade was just talked about, lose yourself by Eminem, of course. I just want to love you, fron, empire state of mind. Now, of course, I think that night one, two, and three was special. But night three, he brought out so many star studies, a guess that, of course, a lot of people were saying to themselves, how did he get this person?

How did he get that person? Like M&M, Nause, Beyonce, Rihanna, even LeBron was out there doing whatever he does. You know what I'm saying? I mean, which team is he going to jump to next? All right, my fault. Anyways. So when it comes to Jay-Z, I think his overall star appeal showcased throughout the nights that he was at the Yankee Stadium.

Because to have this many people pop out, night three had Riont. and bionce usher tiana taylor young jeezie ferell fat jo and additional surprise guests right and that was a huge controversy because apparently they had to sign a waiver because the actual concert went longer than expected apparently there was a four-hour delay and the concert um continued until nearly three a m what in the actual i know that ain't who i think it is now i'm not going to lie to you i know y'all say i'm a huge drake fan you know what i'm saying is it okay i got my dope on me you know he might be the goat but when it comes to that if i have to wait three four plus hours for the for the concert to start and it goes into 3 a.m ladies and gentlemen you may just call me a fake fan i ain't

going to cap to you there's no artists in the world and this may sound harsh you know of course when it comes to me critiquing the entire music and gaming field but when it comes to talent and their creative ability there's nobody worth staying four hours was past the start time going into 3 a.m. I kid you not. I'm sorry. Somebody got to say it, bro. I think the only reason people stayed there is because of the amount of money they spent and they didn't know if they was going to get a refund or not. So it was like, hey, we're here now. You know what I'm saying? If you thought we was going to get a refund. So now we got to watch this concert in the 3 a.m. I kid you not. I went to nearly 3 a.m. for night three. That's

insane. So anyways, when it comes to other celebrities, the list keeps going. J. Z brought out everybody. Like LeBron James, Dave Chappelle, Travis Scott showed up, Fat Joe, numerous amount of A-listers showed up. I mean, this was really a cultural event, which is why I could not wait to cover this. I wanted to give his respect as far as what Jay-Z demands in regarding his status and hip-hop. Because even though we do get into hip-hop, I have my Jay-Z jokes every now and then. But ultimately, Jay-Z laid the foundation for a lot of artists. Is it okay? I got my dope on me.

Some would say he was never the top dog when he was. never he was rapping because you know you did have conier you had little wayne you had all these other guys who culture wise i mean you had dmx you had tupac culture wise a lot of people was number one over j z during his prime right but in the longevity in the business venture side of things he is comparable to nobody in hip-hop when it comes to the business side of things and the longevity as Armand de Brick see this is I know I don't even pay for this I don't even know what this is but how you pronounce that hold up I may have to get AI to read this off because who who in the actual Armand de Brignac see come on now bro what we doing now you know what we're doing

Basically, him not letting Little Wayne perform. A lot of people was upset because Jay-Z has a big saying that, and that's why Rock Nation is over the sports agent. agency, not sports agency, they're over the NFL entertainment partnership and they get to make those decisions. So if y'all wanted to hear a little Wayne read off a prompter, I mean, if y'all wanted to hear Lil Wayne give a half, you know, a performance at the Super Bowl, I think Jay-Z, you know, he saved you from that. So the other deals is, um, apparently there's some Target collab that a lot of people upset with as far as the reasonable doubt vinyl. The reason why I'm not upset at that

because, well, it's because I guess you could cut them out, be like, oh, don't give the vinyl to target. But as far as Jay-Z and music-wise, he's not as relevant. And now, before y'all get mad to me, say, oh, he just brought out 40,000 people live. When it comes to the notorious mass effectors currently,

Jay-Z just went on a three-night run, broke all type of records, and you want to know how many singles charted? You want to know how many albums charted. a whopping zero but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on

now this is not normal at all and whenever you go on a live show performance or tour usually people leave the live performance and they're like hey I want to listen to this in my own car in my own vehicle

on the way back to reminisce on what we just witnessed live right and when you look at the charts you would think that that would drum up some type of anticipation some type of cultural movement

to where people go back to listen to its old songs but did that happen of course not. If Jay-Z thought his charts, his albums or singles was going to chart a chart just because he was performing live. If Jay-Z thought people was going to turn back the clock on his music. And we beat these folk. What did he, folk? We beat them. We go forward. Because you look at Michael, right? The Michael movie just came out.

And prime example of legendary act, you know, rest and peace of Michael Jackson, of course. But when that movie Michael came out, thriller is still, I mean, we'll compare Michael Jackson to Jay-Z. I know what you're saying, but I'm just giving an example. Michael Jackson's Thriller is the eighth most played project in the world. Did the movie tell you to go play the album? Of course not. It wasn't like, oh, you got to listen to this amount of minutes of thriller to watch the movie. It was just people understanding what they were seeing as far as the Michael movie,

going back to the actual music, the actual original creation and realizing, hold on now, this man is one of the greatest musicians of all time. So that is why Thriller is currently the eighth most play project in the world. And then you have, of course, Michael Jackson's number one's projects with all his number ones, right? It's not too many artists that can have a project full of tracks that went number one. I mean, you know, except for the goal. You know what I'm a dope on me? Can you all tell?

I'm a Drake fan. Anyways. So the reason why this is so surprising is because I would think that Jay-Z would have had at least one charting track. I mean, even Michael, back to the movie, had Chicago retarting as currently the 42nd most played track in the world. What is that based off of? Nostalgia. like outing of material for the honorary purposes of their past albums, right? So you had the Michael movie and all the albums, all the singles are starting to percolate

on the charts again. Did that happen for Jay-Z? Of course not. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on? Now, of course, we're not here to rag on Jay-Z. Once again, do I have to pull up the banner again? I feel like Stephen A. Smith. Anytime I, you know, say something that's not in the best light of Jay-Z, I'm going to bring up my banner once again to showcase that Drake is right there, who's my favorite rapper of all time. Duce and numerous other business investments, I think Jay-Z just showcases time and time again that he is ultimately the best business mind in hip-hop. And it showcases, again,

with the live performance aspect because he doesn't have to put out music. And literally, I don't know how credible this is, but apparently every time Jay-Z cuts his hair, that means music is already finished, right? Earlier in his career, he cut his hair and it was basically signaling creative shifts or a new album, right? So now that he cut his hair again in the year of 2026, people are thinking that maybe it's going to be a new album. I just believe it was a secret promo, which literally I had a short, which, you know, shout out to everybody who followed. my clipping channels. But basically, when it comes to Beyonce and her secret brand,

it's a hair care product, right? And they showed the combing out of Jay-Z's eight-year locks, right? Apparently it was a six-day process with secret products with a lot of family help, right? So that's why you saw the Afro at first,

and then you saw J-Z cutting his hair. I mean, Beyonce cutting Jay-Z's hair, and I don't think it signals any type of album, right? Come on, Jane. Come on, man, I'm trying to. So why is it that you keep flexing this girl? Like, we know that's your girl. God damn.

But when it comes to the secret brand, I think that's the only reason their hair was cut.

I don't think there's a new Jay-Z album. I'm open to being wrong, but I believe Jay-Z cutting his hair is basically a secret promo for his wife. So anyways, what that being said? You're probably wondering, what is the roadmap for 2026 for Jay-Z? Because with seven months in, right, he basically had his biggest live show in quite some time, maybe ever. I don't think he ever had like three shows back-to-back by himself, right? The last time was in 2010 with Eminem and 2013 with Justin Timberlake.

Those are white artists. You know what I'm saying? White Caucasian artists. So as far as doing this by himself, it was a huge deal. and it's never been done before by Jay-Z. So I think this is a big deal. And continuing or capitalizing off of this, I believe there's nothing that's like,

I don't think he's capitalizing off of any music when it comes to this live. I think he just wanted to have an anniversary performance. I think that's all that is. Him being 60 years old and walking around the stage performing three nights in a row is already a fitness accomplishment, right?

But when it comes to his freestyle and the new material, I think the delivery and the substance is not at the level at what we're used to hearing from Jay-Z. So, don't know what can happen. Try to see anybody else they had lyrical on here. I mean, the dream. I mean, everybody was pulling up, right, to be on this album. Apparently, Jay-Z was supposed to be on it. Now, why was he not on it?
