You know, whenever speaking about Sean Carter, aka JZ, you have to realize that we are talking about one of the most powerful people in the music industry.
Not only just in hip hop, but just the music industry.
Now, the reason why I say this is because in 2024 at the Grammy Award show, this man acknowledged the fact that Beyonce was the most nominated at the Grammy Award show, but never won album of the year.
And subsequently, the following year,
Guess what award Beyonce won this year at the Grammy Award show.
Now I'm not saying that she won Al-Mud a year award after Jay-Z pointed out that she didn't have one.
I'm just saying that she won Al-Mudder-year award after Jay-Z pointed out that she didn't have one.
So, you know, it's safe to say that he's probably the most powerful, one of the most powerful influences in the music industry.
Now, with that being said, I also wanted to highlight something else that I doubt a lot of publications are going to
highlight because of course the lies are more entertaining than the actual truth but when it comes to
the 2000 lawsuit where jZ was accused of forcing himself upon a 13 year old girl just know that entire
case was dismissed with prejudice meaning it cannot be refiled and jZ claims he never settled
or paid anything.
That is very important to know
because if you don't know,
when it comes to these lawsuits,
I've heard time and time again,
especially how common it is
whenever they're looking for a certain settlement number,
because if you sue a high-profile celebrity
and if they just want the story to go away,
they'll basically give you an upfront settlement
so that at the end of the day, it won't end up in bad press for whatever celebrity they're
particularly suing.
So when Jay-Z made it clear that this case was dismissed with prejudice, but not only that,
Jay-Z never settled or paid anything, I think that is a phenomenal W.
And pun intended, he is setting the blueprint for how to handle these situations going
for it. Now, of course, addressing the elephant in the room, let's just look this up right quick.
It's probably not going to be right. But addressing the elephant in the room, JZ is reportedly
worth $2.5 billion. So it's to have to say he has certain resources that you probably
don't have. So as far as the blueprint and showcasing how to get around these type of lawsuits,
especially if they don't hold any validity, but they're looking for a settlement. I think Jay Z's
showed a simplistic blueprint of how to come at these type of allegations,
but at the same time,
you have to realize that Jay-Z's network is probably one of the few
that is hard to replicate, right?
So he's going to have resources and accessibility to things that we probably don't have.
But the main thing I wanted to get at was Jay-Z being clear of the allegations
that was set upon him by Tony Busby.
So with that being stated, that's a very pivotal W for Jay-Z.
I'm pretty sure he was dealing with a lot of turmoil behind the scenes due to this lawsuit.
And so with these being denied and him not having to pay out or have any type of settlement,
I think that's just a huge W on Jay-Z's part.
Now, for this particular segment, we are getting into a lawsuit that is basically Patel versus Dorsey.
What does that mean?
Well, Block Inc., which Jay-Z is a member of, it was formerly square, and it was named
and a shareholder lawsuit alleging that the company allowed its platforms Cash App Square
to be used for illegal activities like money laundering, sex trafficking, drug trafficking,
and more.
So this lawsuit is pretty important.
as far as in jZ's career trying to get around this lawsuit so not only did he just get off the battle
get off the battlefield with the tony busby lawsuit and now he has another lawsuit that's going at not
only jZ but the entire block incorporation formerly known as square so this lawsuit
claims that the company failed to implement proper security and compliance measures
allegedly inflating user metrics and allowing criminal activity
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this lawsuit is going there.
So as far as what is hinting towards, I have a few ideas on what is hinting towards.
But of course, I'm not the police.
I don't have a badge.
Let them figure it out.
So let's just continue with the lawsuit.
The shawl law firm?
How in the world?
How do you pronounce it?
Come on a second.
We're going to get Jarvis on the case.
Scholl law firm.
Shall law firm.
Okay, okay.
and levy and korsensky lLP have announced shareholder lawsuits citing securities fraud j z's role in this case is basically because he's part of the blocks board so that's why i combined this with the fact that he just ended up beating the other lawsuit as far as the 13 year old girl lawsuit he ended up beating that lawsuit but as far as this one this one's
seems even bigger than Jay-Z
as is only mentioning Jay-Z
because he's a member of Block Inc. They're going
after the entire Block
Inc. Corporation. It's not just Jay-Z.
So now,
they had to come out as far as the Block
Inc. Board. They came out and
basically said the accusations
involve oversight
I don't know,
they didn't come out at all. But basically,
going more into a lawsuit, they said that
the accusations
involve
oversight failures,
rather than direct wrongdoing.
So I think that's very pivotal, especially for Jay-Z to get around this case.
I just wanted to point that out because not only did he just get done dealing with the 13-year-old
girl lawsuit and it ended up effectively winning that one without having to settle out or pay anything,
and now he's right back to being sued in an entire corporation lawsuit because he's part of
blockchain.
So basically, it's not really directly, Jay-Z.
I mean, his title deal with Block was already criticized a lot, and I don't have to get into the fact that Jay-Z basically told the artist, this is a platform for the artist, and as soon as it got to a certain evaluation, he sold it to.
We're not going to get to that, right?
Because I don't want the van showing up to my door.
So with that be it said, this lawsuit is very pivotal.
The Block suit will definitely keep Jay-Z in the headlines, and this is a very pivotal lawsuit when it comes to the overall corporations being mentioned.
because if you don't know when it comes to block and you know what they own as far as cash up the 50 million users might see trust erode indirectly pressuring this board tenure um but it's not more of a personal j z crisis it's just the overall corporation chase uh crisis that j z is a part of so as far as long-term impact j z obviously has made a lot of very phenomenal business decisions to the point where it needs a
now he's probably regarded as one of the more genius business minds ever created as far as
on planet earth right y'all gonna say i'm glazing but y'all really got to look at the history
of sean carter there's a reason why he said on a track y'all wouldn't believe me if this wasn't in
live action because his life story is pretty insane um but that being said i mean he's also
had a lot of um flops in the past because you know with every venture
there's bound to be success and failure.
And with title flopping the way it did,
it definitely showcased that not,
even the most genius minds in the industry
can end up making a misstep, right?
That's basically what it showcases.
So when it comes to the Block Inc lawsuit,
that would basically take some time
as it's more of a corporation fight
than an actual Jay-Z fight.
So even though Jay-Z would probably, you know,
be behind the scenes trying to help block
win this lawsuit and doesn't necessarily only pertain him.
So with that being said,
that's basically as far as the Jay-Z news is considered.
I wanted to cover this because, of course,
I think it's very pivotal to know
what these high-profile celebrities are going through
as far as the industry is concerned.
Because a lot of things that happen behind the scenes
that end up being headlines later down the road because of the ramifications.
A prime example, Diddy.
I cover Diddy extensively.
I mean, type in Diddy Analytic Dreams with the Z.
You'll see, I covered the Diageo deal way before he even was even thought of to get locked up, right?
And I talked about how that was a huge deal going on as far as him going against Diageo.
And now to the point where certain evidence that had put him behind bars was been found.
it was already known about but was hidden but now all of a sudden a year after you end your deal
with diageo which is like one of the biggest liquor companies in the world you end up behind bars
for a video that people been knew about but you may go away because of your connections and
ties and it's just interesting how now those connections and ties are no longer there hence diageo
split in ways with him aparting ways with him and then this happens so obviously i'm not this um
I'm not like excusing Diddy for any of his actions.
I'm just talking about how long they waited to even pull this evidence up.
Very interesting.
So with that being said, click my link, share in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Jay-Z being sued because of being part of a block member?
No, because of being a member of Block incorporation.
And what do you think is going to be the overall outcome to this lawsuit?
