Like, it's so deep.
You're DeAngelo and Jayze on the same track.
Like nine minutes, 33 seconds of absolute, soulful, biblical bliss.
You heard it from DeAngelo himself.
DeAngelo H to the Izzo is back once more.
And the hiatus that Jay-Z has taken
it's not really to be highlighted because when you have artists like Kendrick Lamar who's currently
still one of the modern day goats in rap, taking four to five years to put out the album,
technically Jay-Z is just as active, is one of our most popular rappers in the game right now.
So with that out the way, the book of Clarence is something that he's adding his voice to
as the motion picture soundtrack comes out January,
12th.
So
Jay-Z and DiAngelo
has a collaborative song
for the upcoming soundtrack
of the Book of Clarence.
And I don't know
if Jay-Z doesn't know
about the decline
and attention spans
thanks to TikTok,
but obviously that man doesn't care
as this track is approximately
nine minutes and 33 seconds long.
Now, why do they keep focusing
on the length of
the track?
It's because Jay-Z gave us a masterful verse on God did that featured Rick Ross,
Little Wayne, and Jay-Z, but who stole the show?
Jay-Z reminded us on God did why he is considered and regarded as one of the best rappers
to ever touch a mic.
And as far as human creation, he is the best human when it comes to rap.
Now, why is that big deal simply for the fact that he is back again,
about to give us a nine-minute offering of straight bars?
Hopefully.
I'm thinking it's probably more of DeAngelo giving us a chorus than Jay-Z rapping.
But let me throw this at you.
Jay-Z, when it comes to being dominant in the rap space,
because people like to talk about his entrepreneurial work
and him working for the NFL entertainment right now,
or being the director of entertainment for the NFL.
But forget to talk about this man's longevity.
Jay-Z is among the short list of rappers
to chart a number one album 15 plus years into the career.
So when you're talking about longevity,
there's only so many artists you can put up
in the same stratosphere as a hove,
aka J-Z, aka Sean Carter.
So to put to put more
respect on his name,
this man is one of those type of rappers
where obviously the mixtape error
took away a lot of numbers from
the likes of Jay-Z Little Wayne
GZ Gucci. I mean, you can keep going
with the notorious mixtape rappers,
but also having a great album,
Discography as well.
When the mixtape platforms went down,
a lot of the different golden verses from our favorite rappers back in the day
also went away with it.
Of course, you could probably look it up on SoundCloud,
but for today's generation,
it's probably a lot of work.
So why do I bring that up?
It's because basically what we are going to receive,
I'm not,
I can't, you know, 100% guarantee this track is going to be fired,
but come on, like, it's Jay Z on a nine-minute track.
Pretty sure he had something to get off his chest.
God did was another offering.
for what JZ is capable of when in the right setting.
And for the Book of Clarence being a biblical movie produced by J.Z and directed by James Samuel,
you already know, Jay-Z is going to take this opportunity to shine a light not only on an up-and-coming director,
but also promote his ability to still rap better than anyone.
else on planet Earth.
So with that being said, this is the big deal.
I'm actually looking forward to the movie simply because of this track, because I didn't even
know this movie was coming out.
Obviously, I've seen little trailers and things of that nature, but I don't watch TV shows
or movies unless it's like superhero setting.
I'm sorry, I'm just that type of person.
I'm still waiting for the Boy's season four.
So with that being said, this track making me even get excited for a movie.
is, in my mind, going to have an effect on others the same way it did on me.
People are going to listen to the track, want to check out the entire movie, because you would not know about this book of Clarence movie if it wasn't for Jay-Z's promotion like he is doing right now.
So it's not just Jay-Z putting out some random nine-minute track just because he wants to show you he can still rap.
He's packaging it along with, it's like a strategic partnership with this marketing campaign.
He's also partnering with, what's his name again, James, what's the director's name?
I totally forgot.
James Samuel, hopefully I'm saying that right, and also promoting him in his film, The Book of Clarence.
So with that being said, I think it was basically it.
I mean, I'll have to go into movie land if I wanted to talk about the book of Clarence,
But all you need to know is that the movie is exploring biblical themes and centers around a chapter in ancient Jerusalem attempting to convince people he is the real Messiah.
So do I think people are going to get up in arms like they did for Lil Nas X?
Of course not.
It's Jay-Z.
He's not going to come with any backlash.
But am I looking forward to this movie and seeing how they explore the whole Jerusalem aspect, seeing that Christianity seems to be.
the go-to religion for marketing strategies nowadays.
But other religions, it's not really touched too much.
But hey, that's another discussion for another day.
So anyways, I'm excited for the book of Clarence,
just how to throw that devil's advocate take out there
for those who are wondering why this is a reoccurring theme
and why some takes on it is more accepted than others.
Speaking about Lenaz X.
So that's basically it.
Jay-Z hasn't put out music in a while.
And by a while, I mean, compared to Kendrick Lamar, that man's putting out a lot of music, right?
I mean, you talk about some of our old ledgers and they still putting out and giving us more offering some of our modern day goats.
So that's the whole reason I had to bring up Kendry.
Because Jay-Z's last offering was 2017 with 444 that came out July 7th, 2017.
Yes, it's been that long since he's gave us an offering.
but don't forget that he gave us God did
and then he gave us
the neck and wrist track
what it feels like entrepreneur
like he's been giving us top
top quality lyrics and lyricism
but as far as the body of work
it's been a while so
and then also the hove
he changed it that's so funny
he doesn't even have the God did track on his
profile anymore
it's just Hove did it's just the verse
version with Gis Hove?
It says 11 minutes and 50 seconds.
I don't know what that means.
It says it's an audiobook,
so maybe that's something completely different.
But anyways, and also the God did
was the biggest offering,
the biggest recent offering of showcasing
how head and shoulders
above the competition Jay-Z is
as far as the best rapper to ever do it.
Like, ever.
Like, all the rappers,
whoever rapped into a mic,
he's the best to ever do it.
Packaging, repeatability,
different settings, just the greatest ever.
So that being said, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about this Jay-Z and DiAngelo track
for the upcoming soundtrack for the Book of Clarence?
And also, along with the soundtrack coming out
and the movie coming out January 12th,
will you be going to check out the movie,
The Book of Clarence as well?
