Now, interestingly enough, I couldn't find the official site for Jenny from Black Pink, but that's okay because for the most part, I've covered her entire, not rise to fame, but my first coverage of, well, the first coverage that I had of Jenny was back in June 23rd, 2023, and that was specifically for the weekend and Jenny's track titled One of the Girls, which I to the day think is one of the best tracks ever created as far as on a soundtrack. Because if you don't know, it was on the soundtrack for the HBO show titled The Weekend, no, titled The Idol starring The Weekend. But don't watch the show if you think it's going to be high quality.

You have to go into the show thinking that it's just so bad that is good. I'm not going to lie. You're going to thank me later because if you go into the show, think it's going to be anything. but mediocre you may be uh disappointed so anyways jenny is set to have an album titled ruby and that's set to release march 7th 2025 now of course she's renowned for her work with uh black pink but as far as a solo debut literally titled solo back in 2018 she continued to push the boundaries and definitely um put on for k-pop to the point where now she currently has a lot of

of just anticipation for her album ruby especially her being one of the pivotal reasons for why the HBO show the idol even won best choreography at the Emmys uh she basically was one of the main reasons that they even won that award as she's her scene in the idol as far as her showing off the choreography to the co-star um it was one of the more uh high quality scenes in that show let's just say that because it wasn't too many of them but anyways for this specific segment we're getting it to love hangover from jenny featuring dominique fike now when it comes to the song titled love hangover obviously you already know what the subject matter is going to be over but as far as the musical style it seems more of like a fusion of retro soul and contemporary pop because if you don't know k pop is great at blending certain sounds to make it their own as if there wasn't just a woman Jenny from Black Pink, if there wasn't new jeans, if there wasn't BTS, it'd be a lot of pushback and hesitancy on listening to K-pop music.

Because of those new musicians, of course, because of big hit music entertainment, definitely coming in, helping out K-pop musicians blow up in the United States side of things, it's definitely a pivotal factor into the rise to fame because now Jenny is a under Columbia Records a division of Sony music entertainment under exclusive license from OA entertainment so the reason why I'm saying all that is because of course leading up to an album ruby her having Dominique Fike on the track was very interesting because I looked at his profile that was the only official profile was able to pull up right and then I was looking at it and then essentially this man is from euphoria I don't know why I just had that epiphany I was looking

at his picture i was like where have i seen this man before technically his acting debut was in euphoria where he played uh the character elliot which is more of a laid-back drug user of course you know euphoria was insane with the drug usage like you would have thought that wasn't in high school right but anyways um so with dominique fike being in euphoria that definitely threw me off because of course he's also on this track and he you know contributes to it pretty heavy So Jenny and Dominique Fike's track title Love Hangover is set up to be, I'm not going to say like a successful single. I do believe the singles that Jenny put out before or that she teased before as far as for the upcoming album Ruby. I think that's more of a pivotal track because if you don't know, I think there was a track woman up that a lot of people were circulating as far as snippets.

and that's supposed to be a great like addition to ruby but in general i haven't really heard too much about her marketing strategy if you don't know uh south korea's going through a whole like um martial law where they literally for the first time ever like um incarcerated like the president something like that so they're going through a lot and with that being said um k-pop had to halt a lot of musical festivals so now i like to see them getting back into the swinging things and getting back into their own field as far as putting out their own music and showcasing their own sound as even with jenny being in los angeles and new york as far as march six through the 10th in this year as far as her tours and live performances go she's still a high profile

k-pop musician that definitely goes back to a hometown to showcase her talents so even though this track love hangover does have dominique fike who was an actor off euphoria but of course you know hey I guess he was a musician first, right? So that's very interesting. But, you know, at the end of the day, you know, it'd be like that as far as trying to get into the entertainment field by any means necessary. Sometimes you got to act. Sometimes you got to be on one of the biggest K-pop musicians song in the world.

Not even song is a single for an upcoming album, Ruby, that, of course, like I said, was set to, was set is, set for release on March 7, 2025.
