If you think about it, we've had new jeans.
We've had K-pop.
We've, I mean, not K-pop.
We've had Junk Cook.
We've had Hope.
And now, Jenny from Black Pink, is releasing a new solo track titled You and Me.
Now, Junk Cook has been the most recent to run up the charts, as he currently has a track out with Jack Harlow titled 3D.
but he also had another track out with Lotto titled Seven.
So with that being said,
K-pop is in a situation where every time they drop,
especially the prominent, well-known figures of K-pop,
whenever they drop as solo acts, people follow suit and support.
As I don't know why Black Pink's members are releasing solo records,
but I would have to surmise that it's because,
of the success of every single
BTS member releasing
solo music and in some sort of way
affecting the charts. So with that being said,
of course, with Jenny's new solo single,
it is her first solo material
in five years. So with this being
her first solo track
since, I think
20, no, since
2018 with solo.
That's crazy. Her first solo track
with solo in 2018 that's that's pretty on the nose ain't it but anyways that's besides
point let's go to janey's page right because that's what i really want to look at at the end of
day is she going to put up numbers or not because we never know it's definitely not a
guarantee that just because you're part of a prominent k-pop group your solo record's going to do well
like that's not just that's not just a given so a point three monthly listener she definitely has a
fan base and oh what would you know that is crazy
She is a part of one of my favorite soundtracks of this year the Idol soundtrack with the weekend
She's on one of the girls with Jenny oh I covered this one yeah I remember that okay
That's nice so technically she's been putting out solo music just not on her own that is crazy
So she was a part of the idol which that track one of the girls
Let me just say for all the stuff that people gives the idol as far as a
lack of quality when it comes to a television show.
The soundtrack was beyond fire.
And I do remember covering that as far as the weekend and Jenny
because I was like,
the weekend has been pulling out so many features
that you know the budget had to be crazy
because he had played with Cardi feature,
which he doesn't do features.
Obviously, Jenny, she has two tracks out
now that I've seen it solo back in 2018.
and then her track with the weekend
that came out this year
and then the weekend had
um
little baby on it and Madonna
I'm like what was
what type of budget was this man working with
HBO have different type of budgets I guess
because you know that wasn't for the free
but anyways that's what size of point
so Jenny is putting out a new single titled
You and Me
at this point I'm looking forward to it
I forgot that was her on
the soundtrack she
really gave
that track a different type of sound sonically that help change up the not monotonous but help change
up the certain vibe of the soundtrack and if you've listened to the entire soundtrack you know what
I'm talking about they're going for that 50 shades of gray type of vibe for the entire soundtrack so
when jenny came on it was a nice change of pace but i'd be interested to see if she keeps that same
sound for this new solo single because if she does then
Jenny from Black Pink might have a hit on her hands.
So anyways, with that being said,
click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social media is.
