Starting point is 00:00:00 Shepard promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content congratulations on hitting one billion oh one billion hey one billion yeah ladies and gentlemen analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because currently J-Lo just as if Spotify does this Shepard oh my fault I mean you know when it comes to the magnificent accomplishment of on the floor and it accomplishing one billion streams you're seeing the results of it right now so on the floor on Spotify only right oh thank you Spotify how great is that it's amazing it's a new generation
Starting point is 00:00:56 so ladies and gentlemen when it comes to that specific track we have to get into it because um guess what even though that was a particular video just acknowledging the magnificent impact and notorious mass effect of on the floor the main thing i was wanting to talk about is of course how this track came out in 2011 and ladies and gentlemen safe to say if my watch is um correct it's the year of 2026 i know that ain't who i think it is And the reason why I say that is because currently the music video, a music video for the track on the floor by Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull is currently the 25th most watched video on YouTube. And here's the video right here in case you was wanting to see it, you know what I'm saying? You know, on the world.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Yo, how'd they get up on my screen? I know that ain't who I think of it. Yo, bro, my editor tripping. Anyways, that's crazy, bro. Is it okay, I got my dope on me? Anyways, so this is the video right here if you just wanted to see it. It's one of the most view videos on YouTube as of right now as far as trending. And specifically the 25th most watched video on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:02:19 As you can see, 1.1 million views in three days, everybody's still enjoying it. As you can see about the comments section, everybody just commenting, talking about how it's amazing and how is the 15-year-old track. I mean, when you really look at the longevity of this specific track, safe to say over here at notorious mass effect, of course, getting into the music and gaming IPs that notoriously affect the masses when talking about on the floor by J-Lo you come to realize not only this pit bull obviously adds some type of validity to the quality level but of course when you look at J-Lo specifically she's had multiple accomplishments just sticking to music as when you look at over 80 million records sold by J-Lo herself right and when you look at four hot 100 number ones as far as if you have
Starting point is 00:03:07 at my love as far as I'm real as far as on the floor but on the floor peaked at number three but then of course top 18 plus charts and then became the best selling female single of 2011 now I'm not trying to make a certain fan base upset but let's just say that was a certain
Starting point is 00:03:27 prime for a certain someone I'm not gonna say it you know I'm not no need to say it you know what I'm saying no need to pit two iconic women artists against each other but 2011 wasn't that Shepard. My fault.
Starting point is 00:03:39 So anyways, J-Lo had the best-selling female single of 2011 with On the Floor. And of course, when you look at the remixes, as far as the first remix album to debut at number one of Billboard 200, she had that with the multiple dance club songs. And of course, she was the first woman as well to simultaneously hold the number one album with J-Lo and a film, which is insane. We already know that J-Lo definitely acts from time to time. And of course, when it comes to the musical output, people are aware of her chart-topping anthems, just like on the floor. But the main thing I was going to get into is, of course, after roughly 15 years away from the billboard charts, on the floor has returned, aside from the music video metrics that I just showcased, the actual song is streaming to the point where it is returned to the billboard. Billboard charts following a viral moment involving the prime video series off campus.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Now, of course, when you look at the prime video series off campus, it premiered May 26 featuring the character Ali or Mike Abdallah dresses J-Lo and a Versace-inspired look dancing to the song with Dean as Maverick. And ladies and gentlemen, that's all it took. as J-Lo herself, the actual J-Lo amplified it and recreated the dance with Ab Dala. And then they recreated the dance on social media and endorsing the actual show, which the show once again is called off-campus. And this boosted streams. This boosted Shazams.
Starting point is 00:05:31 This boosted YouTube views. I mean, you get the point. Basically, it was a master class. marketing campaign being put on by the show off campus. So with that being said, the actual track went to number 117 on the Billboard Global 200, number 80 on Billboard Global, excluding the U.S., and of course, this provided approximately 15.1 million weekly streams during the off-campus marketing campaign. Prompting J-Lo's own marketing team and, of course, J-Lah herself,
Starting point is 00:06:10 to come, give a reaction on social media, basically just saying what exclamation point question more. Basically, her coming out acknowledging the magnificent marketing campaign put on by off-campus, benounce to them, unbeknownst to them. And of course, Jalo said that she attributed the phenomenon to how modern audiences discover music through numerous digital sources, emphasizing that classic music can continually find a new audience. So you know what I mean? I know that's right. So with that being said, another thing that was wanted to touch on, especially when you look at longevity and music, is that, of course, acts in today's age, when you have a magnificent song, usually that's larger than life, it outshines your entire career. And we already know that is not the case for J-Lo, especially when you combine her acting career along with her musical career.
Starting point is 00:07:07 and then you come to realize that not only is she putting off for the Latinos or Latinos, but she's also showcasing the boundaries that can be broken with a lot of successful marketing strategies and the right people behind you. So, of course, you know, we're not going to talk about the specific people that she's had behind her because, you know, that starts to get into, you know, messy drama land. You know what that being said, as far as the music video and the music and, specifically I think it's been doing well to the point where 15 years later having one of your more successful tracks as far as on the floor making a resurgence on the billboard charts
Starting point is 00:07:46 even if it is 100 plus as far as 117 I think that's still a phenomenal accomplishment for a track that came out in 2011 so with that being said click my link to you in my bio to follow me in my social medias and of course if you're on Spotify and if you're a huge J-Lo fan what are you most looking forward to next from Jennifer Lopez Thank you.
