Starting point is 00:00:03 I came up in the Ville, so I'm good when it's tension. He's still doing shows, but fell off like The Simpsons. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like 10. Your first stuff was classic, because you know this is a PG podcast. Your last stuff was tragic. Your second stuff put people to sleep, but they gassed it. And your third was massive, and that was your prime.
Starting point is 00:00:32 But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Now, ladies and gentlemen, you're probably wondering, dreams. What are you quoting? Well, I'm glad you asked. As when it comes to this particular track, seven minute drill,
Starting point is 00:00:47 that is very interestingly enough, three minutes and 28 seconds. Yes, you know, I had to pull that up because seven minute drill track, it's only three minutes. Make that make sense. But it's by the one and only germane cold. know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 00:01:04 If you look up that particular track on DSPs, guess what? You guys. See, that's the problem. You can't find it. And why can you not find it? I'm so glad you asked. As there was a particular battle that happened. When side seven, I mean, a white tank top, came out on like that, which is one of the
Starting point is 00:01:21 greatest, if not the greatest, not the greatest, that's a little stretch. It's one of the greatest hip-hop tracks of all time. And basically, side seven said, and I quote, forget the big three, it's just big me. I said to myself, I know that ain't who I think it is. Surely the other two rappers is not going to go for that type of malarkey, right? It's safe to say my favorite rapper came up to back and some would say he got completely obliterated in that particular back and forth, but I will say when it comes to the amount of people he took out, you can't win them all. Asap Rocky, Rick Ross, Future, Leland Wayne, I mean, Metro Boomin. Uh, who else?
Starting point is 00:02:03 There was somebody else. Ferrell caught some bars. I think, no, no, the weekend. Yeah, the weekend. That's like five off the top of my head. That's a whole hand. You know what I'm saying? Side 7 only went at Drake, but you know, at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:02:14 he said it was a 20v1. Nobody believed him, but they believed Kendrick when he called Drake a pedophile with no proof. So anyways, enter the other person that people put in the big three. Not me, but other people. Jermaine Coal basically came out with this particular track to respond to side seven, saying, seven minute drill, which is, you know, interesting title, right?
Starting point is 00:02:35 Um, and all of those lines were on a particular mixtape called, I might delete later. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Now, some of y'all may say the hate that I have, which is not hatred, because you know, that's a strong word. But basically the dislike I have for, for Jermaine is forced, right?
Starting point is 00:02:59 Because I say time and time again. and hopefully if there's one thing that y'all get from this podcast is this one fact germane cole is one of the most overrated if not the most overrated rapper of all time and the reason why i say that is because i don't believe he belongs in the big three so technically that's the definition of overrated he's in that position i believe belongs to future belongs to tyler the creator or belongs to niki banage especially if we're talking about the big three of hip-hop as far as in the past past five to 10 years.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Anyways, or you could throw that to Kanye because he's still doing this thing. So when you look at the big three, people throw the most overrated rapper Germain in it. So he was like, hold up now. If he says F to Big Three, he's probably talking about me. I know that ain't who I think it is. So he puts out the seven minute drill and guess what? In under 48 hours, like he was trying to solve a crime. You ever seen that crime show called 48 hours?
Starting point is 00:03:55 But they're trying to solve like how the crimes happening or happened in the past. basically germane cold was trying to prevent a murder in under 48 hours as he already knew what side 7 was going to do to him so not only did he take it off dsps ladies and gentlemen you look it up on your dspe type in seven minute drill nothing's going to pop up basically he took seven minute drill off of DSPs but not only that hold up now his festival were all his fans right i remember just like he was yesterday april 7 during headline during his headlining set at Dreamvale Festival in North Carolina, his hometown, right? Jermaine came out and apologized. Not apologize. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Apologize. He apologized as a rapper for putting out a disc track to another individual that said
Starting point is 00:04:50 F to Big Three is just big me, seemingly targeting him, right? Not only that, he went on to say it was the lamest. it was the goofiest stuff he's ever done but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on and basically praised Lamar
Starting point is 00:05:07 and got the crowd to say that he's the greatest ever one of the greatest ever and vowed to remove the track from streaming services so guess what it's no longer available now of course if you look at YouTube or whatever you'll be able to find a track but as far as DSPs whether it's Apple Music Spotify even Deezer
Starting point is 00:05:23 title it's not going to be on there why germain took it off so Jermaine was in hip hop timeout. It's safe to say he understood why he was in hip hop time out as he didn't put out anything in that particular year in 2025. But safe to say he has reared his sleepy head once again to put out a new album that people are claiming is coming out tomorrow or midnight. I don't believe it.
Starting point is 00:05:47 I don't believe that the rollout that he seemingly had putting out some type of 15 minutes clip, you know, I think. when it comes to this 15 second clip that you can see right here um analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio but basically i'm playing the the 13 second clip sorry it's not 15 it's 13 seconds i'm putting up the 13 second clip basically showcasing the attempt at of a rollout from germane code just you know once again showcasing that your favorite rapper is probably the most overrated if your favorite rapper is uh germane so um the main thing i was want to get across is that this man
Starting point is 00:06:26 aside for being the most overrated rapper of all time. The main thing is the fall off may be coming out at midnight. Now, of course, I wanted to take this time to let somebody who's fond of Jermaine talk about the album release, right? When that cold album drop?
Starting point is 00:06:43 Listen, man, they tried to say I was wrong. I told him we were going to show. I told him we was getting something for Christmas. I was just a couple days early. Okay. We're getting something Friday though. Well, Thursday night. don't make me cut that out because you love doing that shit we all go home and I ain't okay that was a shot and that's in my own yo squad anyway that's that's hey he's part she's part of your squad and she's calling you out like that that's
Starting point is 00:07:06 crazy cut this out no Thursday night so you're saying on record this the IG clip you're saying on record we are getting a germane coal album I didn't say that see see how fast he said he ain't say that but then later on in the clip guess what he says let's be fucking for real let's be fucking for real we don't know good we don't know see you'll make me repeat myself a lot of those songs that was dropped came and went i ain't heard none of you niggins played port or what was it port antonio now of course he said i didn't say jermaine's putting out an album and then went strictly into a specific track that was made by germain co now port ntonio was uh one of the tracks that jermaine made and i don't know if it was off
Starting point is 00:07:49 if it was on like a particular album but apparently a lot of people saying it's uh going to be on the falloff and mall's basically saying an album's dropping in midnight so he's making a bold claim right just like rory made the claim that one of the hottest uh one of the replacements for hot 97 had like a cold following we still don't know who that person is right so basically um they're out here giving basis claims and you know i assume nothing less of germain fans but now let's switch gears to levickson allen basically talking about his reaction to germane possibly dropping the album in midnight. Jay Cole dropping an album this Thursday.
Starting point is 00:08:31 I need some sleeping material. That's a fact. Literally, that's it. Ladies and gentlemen, that's it. I just don't like it, man. That's what he said. I just don't like that shit, man. That's basically what he said.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Go take care of your kids, man. It's only right to go from Rory and Mo to academics straight into the goat. Now, me give you a long list of the rappers that had to go get a job. but if I got something that still works go get a job go get a job go to Costco's nigga I don't have to go to Costco
Starting point is 00:09:03 go somewhere now that's exactly how I feel about Jermaine when it comes to your profession and you taking off a disc track which is one of the most egregious moves we've ever seen since KD went to the Warriors
Starting point is 00:09:16 I think it's about time you change your profession because what are you going to rap about honestly how are you going to have braggadocious bars when you have one of the most egregious, the most horrendous PR move, PR nightmare ever to exist,
Starting point is 00:09:34 and you're the one that did it, that by taking a disc track away that you put out for a particular rapper. So I think I wanted to take it upon myself to help out Jermaine, right? This is particular artist really respected in the hip-hop landscapes, right? 1997 rose to fame with bad boy records,
Starting point is 00:09:51 you know what I'm saying? April 1999 abruptly. retired from rap at his peak people was wondering why and then we come to realize did he is um let's just say he a bad boy let's just put it like that anyways um 2004 return to music with the album welcome back briefly joined g unit but you know from 2005 to 2020s um nobody really he didn't really gain a lot of hype like that and in the 2021 guess what he was named pastor of gathering oasis church in Atlanta shout to that man that's what i'm talking about. Shout to that man for realizing that his time of being a rapper is now complete and he can go on to his pacifist lifestyle. And the rapper I'm talking about, ladies and gentlemen, it's called Mace. Now, there's other rappers who switched their profession from rap to a positive lifestyle, right? Rev. Run went to ordain Pentecostal minister. You know, that's what he became. Curtis Blow founded hip hop church
Starting point is 00:10:54 Licensed Minister by the way MC Hammer Ordained Minister preached in the late 1990s by the way Loon ex bad boy Right converted What's up with all these Ditty people converting It's almost like Diddy was you know what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:11:07 Shepherd All right my fault I ain't gonna say Loon ex bad boy member member basically converted became Muslim Right She heim I don't know to say that name
Starting point is 00:11:18 Turn to ministry slash pre- preaching Project Pat, the legendary Project Pat, became a pastor preaching sermons and stuff. Hey, you clap it up for these. These gentlemen, these fine gentlemen is doing exactly what Jermaine should do. And laying out the blueprint in the past. So now you already see the blueprint in history. And you could do the same, Jermaine. Let me, let me talk to you right now.
Starting point is 00:11:44 You know, IDC, D, college or whatever that commercial was, I'm talking to Exactly you, man. You could do it, man. You could become a pastor. And guess what? We're not going to judge it for you. We're not going to judge you, man. I know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 00:11:59 So all this back and forth, I'm the go, you know, I feel like who the big three, they're saying is K.D. Aubrey or me, but right now I feel like Muhammad Ali, all that, all that. Cut that up, bro. Not saying the one. You're going to give you a long list of the rappers that had to go get a job. But if I got something that still works, why would I? Go get a job.
Starting point is 00:12:20 Y'all go to Costco's, nigga. I don't have to go to Costco. Go somewhere. Germain, I want you to become a pastor, man. Become a pastor. That's your lifestyle. That's what you probably need to rap about. I don't want to hear any braggadocious bars about how good you rap.
Starting point is 00:12:35 About anybody you can flip in the studio. Basically, I want to know how many verses you can flip in the Bible. That's all I want to know. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Whole time, I thought I was going to talk about the falloff. Man, I could care less, man.
Starting point is 00:12:53 I looked at the falloff release day, I said to myself, Who really listening to that NyQuil music? Like, come on, man. Woo need do. And we beat Eiffel? Who did them? We go forward. So anyways, that's my Jermaine coverage. Hopefully our J-Cold fans enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:13:07 If you didn't, hey, guess what? Woot need to. So with that being said, click my link through my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Jermaine Cole? Seemily putting out some type of album at midnight. course if he does whoopty-do if he doesn't he you know i could care less but for the favorite
Starting point is 00:13:25 for the fan favorite you know j cole fans out there what are you most looking forward to if the fall up if the fallout the fall off ends up dropping and midnight
