Starting point is 00:00:00 So, BTS Jimmin or Jiamen, I still haven't looked up how to pronounce his name. But at the end of the day, he's back again with his highly anticipated solo debut. And you probably will be saying to yourself, why am I covering BTS? Well, it's simply for the fact that it's kind of like NBA young boy, the reason why I cover him so often is because every time I put these people up on my podcast, I'm not going to lie to you. Their fan base supports like crazy. So maybe if the artist,
Starting point is 00:00:30 you like if if their fan base supported everything about them the way that BTS NBA young boy fans do then I may be talking about them more but hey you know that's just a little food for thought so anyways Jimmin is back again with his solo debut album called Face yes that's that's the name
Starting point is 00:00:50 of the album is called Face you know I make it up that's that's the name that's that's the name he chose so you know I don't get it but uh so obviously he a member of bt s and a lot of the btsm members is serving right now in the army which uh doing a little research it may be why uh korea's out here just saying that they have 800 000 signed up to fight the u.s because i mean they're technically forcing people to fight in the in the um in the army it's kind of like if america was like hey you have to serve this amount of years in this age age range and then after
Starting point is 00:01:30 you can go on about your ordinary life. But it's more of an option in America. In other places, like I just said, you have to serve a certain amount of years. I forget the actual day in a certain age range. So apparently, I don't know if it's gymming, but one of them is older or younger. Yeah, I think it's younger,
Starting point is 00:01:54 so you can put it off longer so that I think right now what they're doing is he's keeping the BTS brand a lot. So when the members eventually come back from their time served, which is crazy to say They'll be able to still have that buzz of BTS being one of the hottest things out here as far as K-pop And that's the whole aspect and that's the whole feeling I'm getting with this whole Jim and release or solo debut Because it's not like he just left the group and he was like forget y'all. I'm making my own solo album He was kind of like well I got to keep this brand alive but
Starting point is 00:02:30 you know, I got to hold the fort down while my boys are out serving so that when they come back, the brand is still alive and well. So that's kind of what he's doing. There's a lot of the pop feeling in this album. I think for the most part,
Starting point is 00:02:46 the first single he put out, I forget what it was called. It made me think of Travis Scott kind of Trippy Red, and his latest track that he just dropped, which I'm going to get into specifically. let me see if i can find this it made me think uh yeah like crazy i think is what it's called yeah okay so that that makes me think of the weekend so there's a lot of different vibes that
Starting point is 00:03:12 jimmin or jimmin is going for and i feel like it's an overall pop aesthetic it's something that you can listen to you may be a little turned off by because it may not be a cup of tea because you know obviously he's sometimes well most times singing or rapping and another language but I will say that the production is very much on point I don't know who the producers are for his album and for his tracks but you can tell that I mean he's a part of big hit music so yeah he definitely has the best cave pop managers and labels behind him as a machine so let's just say the production is on point and Jim and definitely doesn't disappoint when it comes to putting out
Starting point is 00:04:00 quality production but on other hand haven't listened to the album I have heard the first two singles which I was just saying like crazy and face I think he put out face as a single no no he put out
Starting point is 00:04:15 Set Me Free Part 2 as the first single and then he put out like crazy as the second single along with the album because if you don't know I reiterate well I cross over this point a lot on my podcast basically what artists do they put out an album
Starting point is 00:04:29 and then the playlist on Spotify and Apple Podcasts are the most popular like new music basically your major label used their connects to get you in a playlist. Playlist is like radio in the modern day and age so your streams for that specific song goes up more than it otherwise would so you kind of choose a track that you would like as a single to be on that playlist. So for Jimmin or Jimmin, I forget his name but um well I don't know how to pronounce his name but uh like crazy is the track they chose from the album so that an entire album is out but this is the single they chose to put on a playlist hopefully it's not confusing all you need to know is that btas jimmin put out a highly anticipated solo debut album called face so with that be it said click my link to my bio let me know
Starting point is 00:05:18 one of my social medias what do you think about this whole btas wave still being alive with most of the members serving in the army and will you be giving this album face Alice.
