Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "JIMIN (FROM BTS) - CLOSER THAN THIS"

Starting point is 00:00:00 I already see the play a mile away, and you know what? I'm not even mad at it. As Junkook ran 2023 so thoroughly that his departure from BTS was Michael Jackson-esque. Like, of course, he's going back to BTS to make music with their group, but because of the whole mandatory military service having an effect on multiple members of BTS, I see the route they're going with having each and every person from that label, go on their run and basically take over the blogs with tracks while the other BTS members go serve mandatory military time.

Starting point is 00:00:44 So with that being said, obviously, Junkhuk is now serving his mandatory military time. So who does that leave? Now we have Jimin coming in the midst, coming in hot, really, to put out a track, title closer than this because he didn't even wait to 2024 to put up these type of numbers and to have this type of marketing machine behind him because if you don't know big hit music entertainment is behind all of these k-pop musicians right but then you have big hit entertainment belift lab source music pleitus entertainment cause entertainment ador and a lot more you know no pun intended but anyways jimmin i can see him being the next person that they basically put

Starting point is 00:01:34 the marketing machine behind in a way that hopefully ends up being even even if it doesn't surpass junk cook's 2023 which that would be pretty difficult to surpass that one because he really every track he put out was like in the top five so that would be hard to surpass but if it can even get close to that level of a success and take the pressure off of the other bt s members being in mandatory military service letting them know that while y'all serving mandatory military time i'm going to hold the fort down and now i feel like jimmin is the one that's next up to hold the fort down because obviously when they're all done with their service they're going to come back together and form bt s once more so and that's already confirmed because they signed

Starting point is 00:02:23 some type of deal with big hit entertainment like some longevity type deal so now of course they're going to be under contract to put out music as bt s so it's not like a oh we think they're going to come back we know they're going to come back and then the contract so with jimmin in this particular track that i'm covering this is what the whole segment is basically over i just wanted to give you that back um basically that was like the preface so jimmin of course member of btas is putting out a try a title a track title closer than this that's already out on DSPs and it's more of a heartfelt love letter to bt s a.k.a. the army because that type of support that type of dedication to supporting whatever bt s does even though it's pretty quality so i'm not i'm not just going to say they're out here

Starting point is 00:03:14 supporting trash they're out here supporting premium quality as far as each and every member from bt s like the way that Jay Hope puts out and produces music, the way that, I mean, of course, you have Junk Cook, and then you have, I forget, you have Jay Hope, Jimmin, and then you have Junk, Junk, of course, and there's another one, I forget, it was another one, it was another one I have to look up the whole lineup. But anyways, I think that with this debut single, closer than this, I'm not. Obviously, he put out a lot of singles in 2023, but because of this one being so heartfelt,

Starting point is 00:03:56 as some of the members begins to prepare their military service, I think that they're more sentimental and more long-lasting and heavy-hitting because this is coming from the heart and basically reflection, because not all songs that BTS makes is like a, you know, conscious track that's talking about what's going on in the life. This is more of what's going on in my life and closer than this is really so sentimental and it makes sense as if you didn't know. This is the first official solo release since his debut album face earlier this year. Technically, the album was like 19 to 20 minutes, but you can say that that's his first technical project.

Starting point is 00:04:44 So what this means is that the army may have to go some time, without certain BTS members, but Jimmin is down to hold the fort as far as putting out quality music while the others are serving their mandatory military service. So despite them, despite BTS being on a hiatus, they would definitely be back. And Jimin will continue to hold the torch

Starting point is 00:05:12 for all the army fans out there thinking that BTS is going to go away. Because as a group, okay, yeah, here it is. As a group, they are expected to reunite in 2025 in a new docu-series titled BTS Monument. Yeah, Monuments Beyond the Star is currently streaming on Disney Plus, which that was a crazy ad right there. But hey, there you have it. So anyways, BTS should come back in 2025.
