Starting point is 00:00:04 It's time to get into another, yet another, member from Black Pink. Now, when it comes to her particular name, I do not want to mispronounce it, because I'm pretty sure I know how to pronounce it, but let me just make sure. Jizu, a black pink. Okay, so Jisu. I was like, hopefully I didn't butcher that, but I think it's pronounced Jisu from Black Pink. And she has just put out her solo mini album titled a mortgage.
Starting point is 00:00:37 And with that being said, Black Pink has made a lot of waves, especially in the music industry, to the point where I've covered Jenny from Black Pink numerous times, especially on this podcast, to the point where I've covered her like at least five times because as far as her song with Dominique Fike,
Starting point is 00:00:56 that's out now that was released back in January 31st, as far as Jenny's track Zen back in January 30th, and then of course she had Trinke, tracks in 2024 when it came to mantra you and me and then the track with the weekend one of the girls which to this day i still think is one of the better tracks ever released in the past two to three years that's how much praise i would give this track because it's just straight up phenomenal so with that out the way now switch gears from jennie to jesu which is also on black pink it's kind of reminded me of how when bt s had a lot of their member
Starting point is 00:01:35 like Jay Hope, Junk, V, a lot of their members solo-wise were doing tremendous on the charts to the point where now when they get back together, which I assume Black Pink will get back together, I don't believe they have split for good because every time I cover Jitsu, it seems like they are just going to a solo route,
Starting point is 00:01:56 but they still have plans on continuing her Black Pink venture, right? Because of the group, there's no reason reason that just leave that behind so with this album titled a mortage basically one of the tracks that they are highlighting on most of the playlist as far as what they wanted to be highlighted on the album or the mini solo album it's titled earthquake so that is more of a track about love and things of that nature and then of course you have another track titled you are love more of an english ballad you have tears, which is of course getting into something everybody can relate to as far as heartbreak. And then of course, ending off the mini solo album, she has hugs and kisses.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Now if you go to it, ladies and gentlemen, a mortgage has a runtime of 12 minutes and 16 seconds. So I ain't going to lie to you. If you was wanting to get into any K-pop musician, I think this is the perfect project to get into because whether you like it or not is very concise and straight to the point as far as giving you what just sue and her team thinks is the best offering and a condensed and concise fashion for the masses so i think that's the best way to go about it because before this the main member i've heard from black pink time and time again of course was jenny because i've covered her numerous times so with that being said jesu and getting back to her a mortgage mini album basically the producers
Starting point is 00:03:27 is blissu and the wavy's with jissu co-writing all tracks alongside jordan roman so the meaning of a mortage if you wanted to know because in general some people may be confused on what the actual meaning is is basically a blend of a more which is Spanish for love and montage is representing a collage of loves highs and lows so with that being said i do Oh, is it pronounced a mortage? No, it's a mortish, I believe. But anyway, I get what I'm saying, right? Amor, Spanish for Love, montage representing a collage of love, highs and low.
Starting point is 00:04:13 So it's a unique take on an album title, and at least it was some type of thought put behind it. Because some days, especially covering majority hip-hop, you know, sometimes I just feel like people take titles for granted and they just throw it out to the masses, right? So it's nice to see that Jisu and her marketing team took a lot of time to put those two puzzles. pieces together for the masses so anyways just sue if you didn't know she previously debuted solo back in twenty twenty three with her hit single flower and all eyes on me so for just sue fans you're probably uh i'm not going to say became jisu fans but more people became jisu fans back in twenty twenty three which even led up to her releasing this type of mini solo album in the year of twenty five so this of course is the first full project from well after black pink's group
Starting point is 00:04:59 success and of course she signed a global deal with warner records this year that's a huge deal because if you don't know warner currently has 14% of the entire market share which may not seem like a lot until you realize the big dogs of the music industry UMG owns 64%. So when it comes to Sony having 19 and warner having 14% you're still under one of the biggest major machines in the music industry so 14 percent may seem may not seem like a lot but that's just because UMG is just literally one of the biggest music not one of it's that's disrespectful umg which is universal music group is by far the biggest music label in the world so anyways it's nice to see that just sue signed with warner definitely is a competitor at a higher level than majority of other labels so with that being said that's all
Starting point is 00:05:51 everyone to get into just wanted to get into justu's um many album titled a mortis is now out on all DSPs and with that being considered click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about just sue and her many album and also if you give this album a listen what was your standout track
