SOT tangent about Black Pink.
One of the biggest impacting moments for them was when one of the members called Jenny
collaborated with the weekend in the track one of the girls,
because that is currently the highest charting track for a member of Black Pink and Black Pink themselves.
As if you don't know, it actually
makes Jenny from Black Pink
the highest peaking
K-pop female soloist
on Billboard Hot 100
chart in history
with a debut at 69
well not debut but a peak at 69
because the track one of the girls
has been out for a minute
but that's a whole other discussion
for another day
because that was one of my favorite songs of last year
but of course the weekend
is just in a lane of his own
so
getting back in the
Black Pink. The reason for the segment is simply for the fact that we have to do a diagnosis of the K-pop community. And with that, you also have to see what's going down and the pipeline was happening behind the scenes. And one of the biggest things that I conjured up is Black Pink's J-Su. I think that's how you said. Hopefully I'm saying it right. It's set to embark on solo activities by joining her brother's company, Biomomom. So Biomomom,
primarily focus on kids healthy functional food and expanding into entertainment with the launch of
blee sue and artist management wing so i think that's the biggest thing i think her coming into
biomom is not as big of a fact as her also partnering with the launch of bliss zoo which is an artist
management wing now may be butchering the pronunciation but it spelled like bliss and the ending last three
letters is S-O.
So I'm going to say Bliss, Sue.
Hopefully that's right, but if it's not A, I try my best.
So anyways, J-Soo from Black Pink will be managed under this new management wing.
And as far as recruiting, she will have control over that and emphasize, well, it's to be
emphasized rapid growth in both domestic and.
international
international
my fault I can't read
international entertainment sectors
despite our certainty
and biomon representatives
regarding the connection
Jesusu's move
hence at a family managed
system so
why do I say all that
simply for the fact that
even though you are part of a group
it does not mean that you can go on your
well it does not mean that you can't
going your own solo adventures to further your own and your family's career as black pink is
a collection of four members i believe you have jisu i mean obviously have jenny and i don't know
the other two names no disrespect i just don't know the name so let me see if i can find
their name because i don't want to disrespect the other two members of the group uh let's see yeah
they don't even they don't even have it in their bio so they don't they don't even want us to know so anyways
basically, that was the biggest thing for the segment because I think it's definitely significant
to know what's happening behind the scenes for these musicians because some people just think
bands just up and just disband and nothing happened previously to create some tension.
If somebody in the group, well, take Migos, for example, Offset wanted to have his own solo
career, but also wanted to have better marketing promotion from QC.
Who was getting all the marketing budget,
Little Baby,
because Little Baby was the hottest thing moving
as far as two to three years ago,
even now,
but, you know,
the perception that kind of flipped on them.
So anyways,
offset left the Migos,
contractually had Cardi B help him
buy him out of his Migos contract,
which is why,
technically,
Cuevo and Takeoff was the only ones left,
which is why they went on the Unconfugh campaign
with their album before Takeoff,
unfortunately,
passed away.
So with that being said, so many other information tip is to know leading up to that breakup that you probably wouldn't even understand why they would create friction until you knew the whole story.
So that's why stuff like one of the members from Black Pink starting their own family label is significant because you never know how that would impact the entirety of the group.
And if there was only somebody to point out stuff like that to lead up to make.
maybe a breakup or maybe they'll keep going and they just won't put out music together as often.
You know, I would like, you know, I would, as far as as much reviewing and coverage I do of
the industry, I would like to be that one to break that type of news.
So just know.
In the near future, the whole Black Pink versus New Jeans, because yes, I do see UK pop fans out
there always pitting Black Pink and new jeans.
And for some random reason, they pit BT.
in one direction against one another.
But hey, I don't know why, but they do that.
So I notice y'all, and I try to point out certain things that you could take as fact
because there's a lot of speculation and objective takes out there,
but I like to stick with facts and speak from there.
So anyways, the future implications of course with G-Soo moving to that family label called Blissu,
assessor president for other Black Pink members allowing the freedom to maybe do the own solo ventures
and ultimately that may lead to them disbanding.
That is exactly why I'm even covering this because I think that's a big deal.
And like I said with the Migos, that example I gave, I think if people knew other factors
that led into the disbandment of Migos and offset, I think people would be.
more understanding instead of just feeling blindsided and thinking their favorite group just up and left them because they just felt like it.
So anyways, with that being said, click my link to my bio.
Let me know one of my social media's.
What do you think about Black Pink and their impact on the K-pop industry?
And with this announcement of G-Soo from Black Pink going under Blissu, a family company, I sound like Johnson, Johnson Family Company.
But anyways, what do you think of the move and do you think it will alter you?
ultimately lead to Black Pink no longer working together as a group and disbanding into their own solo ventures.
