not one not two not three not four five six seven but an indefinite amount of rappers are coming out day and day out to disdice man joey
so the point where he has finally responded once more with his track titled my town and as far as the
feature a lot of people would be perplexed to see that even loaded lux came out to get some of the
action as daylight rayvonne c j fly uh a z chike which you know at this point in time his name is
still under review as far as the pronunciation um who else reason uh even j one from the jo
budding podcast all of these people coming out of the woodworks to put
words together in the midst of this New York and LA battle. I do believe looking at the
landscape of hip-hop, especially on the commercial side of things, they probably see how
Kendrick and Drake is carrying the torch right now as far as having an album with longevity
on the charts. Some would say that technically Drake's album isn't straight hip-hop is more
R&B than anything, but Kendrick's is straight hip-hop. That's besides a fact. Two of the
hip-hop two of the biggest hip-hop artists currently is Drake and Kendrick what just happened last year
one of the biggest if not the biggest beef we've ever seen in hip-hop as far as people going back and
forth and it actually being some of the most successful music in the music industry so that doesn't
really happen as far as people beefing people care as far as the hip-hop fanatics but of course as we're
seen with Joey and daylight you can have high quality bars a lot of triple quadruple
or entendres and still not making on the charts because guess what just because you make high
quality does not mean you're going to sell a lot and just because you just because you sell a lot
does not mean you're making high quality sometimes the two correlate but it's not a automatic
correlation that people seem to make time and time again anyways with that being said
I think New York versus LA is getting to a point where they're trying to replicate the Kendrick and Drake beef formula.
Beef with another rapper and now you have an ecosystem where only those particular artists eat from the attention.
The problem is when 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 100 million rappers jump in the fray.
Now the attention is getting to MCU level to throw back to my super hero nerds out there.
It's Disney Plus MCU effect because we're not keeping up all these tracks.
Y'all know that this list I have up as far as the entire rap war that's going on right now.
That's not even all of the tracks.
Remember I just named J.1 from the Joe Button podcast.
His track's not even on here.
So whenever doing research, I know certain things because I pay attention to the rap battle.
the rap beef or war going on right now.
But as far as just looking up different things, it's hard to, it's hard for Google to catch up.
So how are we going to keep up with all of these different tracks and bars sent at one another?
Right.
And obviously, that's why I'm covering a plethora of these tracks because I want, I want to bring it to people's attention.
So that way you see this track list.
And now you could look up whatever track you specifically wanted to hear from this beef because of course, it's probably hard.
to keep up with uh with it which is why i put this chart together in the first place anyways just know
when it comes to this track my town uh my town this is a very interesting response to of course daylight
once again continuing the daylight flips ray vaughan is getting it from here and and back because
of course with ray von did on error i still believe that's the best track that's been released
in the midst of this this battle now it comes to a z chike which you know his name is still under review as
far as the pronunciation um that was a pretty interesting track and the only reason i covered that
was to get to how joey flipped his name because i'm not going to lie to you if somebody flips
your name like that then is ultimately showcasing that you skipped over hip hop's most uh notorious
unwritten rules as far as if you're going to hop into the sport of rap and you're going to pick a rap name
you should know and you want to be a lyricist and you want to be a lyricist you should know all the ways
that your name is going to be flipped in the event that somebody wants to come at you
right so anyways obviously a z chai could not care less about picking that name so now and for the
indefinite uh future we have to put his pronunciation under review so anyways with that being said
uh joey also based kensig lamar once again calling him in general and saying that um he's taking out
his troops or something like that yeah he branded the other rappers as troops he really wants kendrick
I believe if Kendrick ever pops out it would be like one to two words on one of these rappers
this tracks either daylight would get one or two bars not even one or two bars one or two words like
i don't think kendrick going to give joey the time of day at all but if he does it's definitely
going to be on one of these specific LA rappers tracks i would assume it's either going to be daylight
or rayvon because they are the standouts in the midst of this rap war so anyways with that being said
i do believe when it comes to joey this track is uh phenomenal especially for standing his ground in the
midst of everybody and their mama grabbing the mic to send a dish your way but you know you did rap about
the whole la scene so i see you trying to flip the whole 20 v1 like you're the goat right and it's
just not applicable at all you called out the entire la scene it's like if drake
came out before like that and was like you know what forget everybody under five two right so it's
kind of like the same thing like if you if you call out a general region you can't be mad when
artists from that general region start to pop out if you was more specific then you could have said
it was a 20v one but you said all of l. my brother that's a lot of territory to have to battle with
so now you set yourself up and it is not the same as
Drake with the 20v1 this man was minding his business like I've already said this but Drake
was minding his business even wanted Kendrick on first-person shooter to make a moment for the big
three hip-hop and Kendrick said no I'd rather just dish you on your ops album right people forget
last year future Metro went on a whole hate uh anti-drake campaign they hated that man right
and to the point where they have Rick Ross on the album the weekend you already know how the weekend
hates Drake y'all want to get to his mansion be let me chill so and then uh who else uh asap rocky
they just came out of nowhere drake over here trying to sing about certain women right and they come
out dissing him and they hear kentra come on that album talking about forget the big three it's just
being me so whenever joey talks about it's a 20 v1 you have to stop it but then you know what
And I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
You do not understand the amount of power it takes to go at Drake.
They needed a 20v1 to even chink his armor
because it was a lot of things going on as far as Drake having to combat Rick Ross,
A's at Rocky, the weekend, future Metro.
I mean, there's a reason why Drake talks about on Bryant Steele,
young thug wanting me to uh to clear up the beef but i'm vegan now when talking about young thug trying
to piece things up between him and future he knows the move they pulled was some bs right you came out
caught out the entire la scene so 20 v1 is just not applicable to you so anyways uh with that being said
my town is a solid track i like the way he went at uh daylight ray vaughan and um cheek i mean chike
my fault you know just uh what they call it floridian
slip let me see let me look this up uh fluridian slip i think it's i say it uh how do you pronounce this uh fruit fruitian no that's not it
i feel like social boy right now is it fruits fruits no i'm not it i am a law about the citizen all right
uh let me see we fail like this is all right now okay i typed in how to day instead of how to say
That's one one.
It's actually pulling up people from Florida.
So, yeah, that's not exactly what I was looking at.
Let me see.
We're going to find this out right now.
How to say.
Because, you know, if we're going to mess up AZ Chikes name,
do we need to get the pronunciation right?
All right.
All right, we're almost there.
Freudian.
Oh.
Freudian.
Freudian.
No, that's not it.
We're almost like.
Freudian.
All right, so when it comes to Cheek
and the pronunciation being under review
because of course he prefers Shaik
it's just going to be a forever
Floridian slip and hopefully
he's able to live with that.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know in one of my
social media. What do you think about Joey's
track My Town going at
Daylight Ray Vaughn and A-Z Cheek
and at the end of the day,
who do you think is winning
in the midst of this rap
war
