Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, of course, over here at Notorious Mass Effect, I get into the gaming and music industry. So whenever I'm talking about Bryson Tiller, who had one of my favorite albums of 2024, as far as his self-titled album, Bryson Tiller. And then we come to the fact that in 2025, he is putting out music. Well, his first effort is 305, a song with Jordan at a Tungi. I think I said that right, but technically is Jordan's track, so he's the feature. But nonetheless, I have to get into my appreciation for Bryson Tiller, not only because he makes great music in general, but also because when I say Bryson Tiller is one of my favorite
Starting point is 00:00:50 musicians, especially the way that he came onto the scene with Trap Sole and then his overall progression of taking that significant gap to the point where Trapsoe came out in 2015, and we really didn't get another body of work that was to that same level till like 2020 because when he put out true to self in 2017, I'm not going to lie to you. I believe it was a step back from what he usually gives his fans. But he did come back around to 2020 to give us a trap soul deluxe, followed it up with the anniversary with the anniversary deluxe, and then of course a different Christmas album in 2021.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And then we come to one of my favorite bright. and tiller albums definitely not hired and trap so but still around that same level of quality as bryson tiller the self-titled album bryson tiller last year was one of my favorites so whenever i'm getting into the new track 305 with jordan added tundee and bryson tiller and i want to definitely highlight the fact that this man is a gamer to bring a full circle the reason why i brought up me covering the gaming and music field as you already know as far as me on my social media media clips you always see the N7 Mass Effect leather jacket, right? Because I'm a huge gamer and I want that to come across and what I wear on a daily basis covering gaming and music. So, Bryson Tiller is also a huge gamer himself as he's been in game video game development. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the artists that y'all know and love for fantastic R&B music also is involved with video game development. And also, when it comes to video game development,
Starting point is 00:02:35 Bryson Tiller has expressed transitioning more into the video game development lane as he wants to be more involved in gaming projects or maybe just simply streaming more as far as the year of 2025. So he said he might take a break from extensive touring to focus on these areas because if you don't know, when Bryson Tiller put out his self-title album, Bryce and Tiller, it was number two as far as the top R&B albums. It was number four as far as the top R&B slash hip hop albums. And of course, it was 10 overall as far as the top streaming albums.
Starting point is 00:03:12 And it was also 10 on Billboard, top 200 as far as the album peak of 12. So it peaked at the 12th most listened to album and the world. Now, as far as the standouts off of that album, whatever she wants, obviously was a standout of the self-title, Bryce and Tiller album, as it reached number. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 8 on the hot Rnbine slash hip hop songs chart so when it comes to that track and then of course combining that with Calypso the first official single from the album it was also contributing to the charts and the overall album performance why am i saying all that because bryson till it seems like he's trying to make that transition from music to gaming i wonder what
Starting point is 00:03:57 other platform does that consistently you know what i'm saying so anyways that's why i gravitate towards Bryson Tiller as far as not only a musician, but also a person who really emphasizes his love for games and his want and need to get into the game development lane. Now, of course, for me, I don't want to develop games. I've covered it enough to realize that they are put through literal, you know what, like they are put through the ringer. And the crunch time phrase in gaming industry, man, you thought crunch time was bad where you work at. I imagine them putting a gym in the studio just to tell you that if you don't finish this, development date we're going to make y'all live here we got the gym we got beds that's all you need no no family time we need animations on a new spider-man so anyways getting back to also jordan at itungy and bryson
Starting point is 00:04:47 tiller have a new trackout titled 305 and with that being said is is bryson tiller's first offering technically even though he's a feature of 2025 and it's more of a melodic rap of course with bryson style of having melodic rap and a lot of R&B inspiration in there as well. As Jordan Atatur, I'm not as familiar with that specific artist, but what I will say is that Ataturgy's UK presence is strong, so it would definitely help out Bryson Tillers' global appeal, I believe. So with that being said, I think this is a great match as far as these two artists coming together. I had a very prominent placement on Spotify's new music,
Starting point is 00:05:31 Friday's playlist. So I think it would definitely end up having strong listener engagement. And of course, in general, whenever you have a talented musician like Bryce Tiller is always going to raise the quality level just to the upteenth degree, right? There's not a lot of praises that you would hear me give an artist like a Bryce and Tilley because I believe he has the overall package music-wise when it comes to R&B, when it comes to the melodic rap style. I mean, a lot of people gravitate towards Drake in a commercial aspect for R&B and rap,
Starting point is 00:06:04 but Bryson Tiller does it with the best of them, in my opinion. And even Bryce and Tiller and Drake have a track together, I believe, because, you know, Drake's everywhere. You know, he gives handouts, and he only has two. You know what I'm saying? It's almost like he gave so many handouts that the person that he took on his first world tour ended up dropping a pedophile anthem against them, right?
Starting point is 00:06:22 But that's neither here nor there, right? So, Bryson Tiller and Drake have this song titled Out of Time, and when I tell you, that is an unequivocal classic. It is fantastic. That entire track, I love how they came together and it gave us a great classic track. It's almost like when Drake and Chris Brown came together to give us no guidance. Like, quality level, I think is on that level and I think it may be even better. I really like that track.
Starting point is 00:06:57 And I just think Bryce and Tilley as an artist overall, it's just one. one of the greater musicians that I've seen that's creative music. So with that out the way, without, you know, putting too much sauce in it, make sure to click my link to your in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about Bryson Tiller and Jordan Atattungi's latest track title 305? And ultimately, are you going to be sad if Bryce and Tiller takes an extensive break to focus on his video game developing career?
