Now I'm not going to lie to you.
When it comes to UK versus U.S.
It's very interesting because I think people who are not rap fans could care less.
But guess what?
That's what I'm here for.
But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going to?
Somebody who really enjoys the art of rap battles and just the mental state it takes to put words together that's very provocative and it evokes emotion.
I love what.
I see it on a grand scale.
So when it comes to Skepta, when it comes to Jonah Lucas, just know that Skepta had the first shot,
technically, with his track friendly fire.
And then you had Joanna Lucas response saying, nobody cares, literally.
And then that was the end of round one. So round one was friendly fire versus nobody cares.
Round two. Round two was Skepta putting out a track literally
entitled round two and then join a Lucas put out round two K.O. Now from my outside of looking
in, that doesn't sound too enticing, does it? But when it comes to the overall implications of this
rap beast, just know Scepta is a UK artist. Jordan Lucas is a US artist. Now, I'm not saying
Drake has everything to do with the hip hop game, but all I'm saying is is a reason why Big Sean went
viral on drink champs for literally saying the exact same thing about Drake. Let me see if I
find that right quick. That's one of my greatest, my favorite quotes from Big Sean.
It's a big Sean, Drake, Drake Champs. It's probably right here. Let's see.
Yeah, right here. That might be something that I can talk about concept. Like, you know,
another person who was in the room versus a master. Right? Right. Over him to be like,
yeah, you know, this shit got to do with not being able to speak out because of other people and
shit when people don't got that same okay that's not it i thought that was it anyways uh big
sean ultimately said that everything seems to revolve around drake every single time like i kid you not
it's actually one of my favorite quotes i'm see if i can find it but um every single time when
something happens in hip-hop it seems to revolve around drake and me covering this game i'm like
people can opt to talk about other artists how come it always comes to you
back to Drake. And the reason why I'm saying that in this segment is because Drake literally said
UK rappers are better than US rappers. And then now we have Joyna Lucas versus Skepta.
But then you know what I'm saying, damn, look at the state of hip hop like what's going on?
Because Skepta basically co-signed Drake saying, yeah, I'm way nicer than all these US rappers.
I don't even know why it's a question. Jordan Lucas was like, well rap battle me then. Skepta said,
you're too little big bro. Well he didn't say big bro. But he was basically telling Jonah, he was like,
hey, you're not on my level.
I'm not fin of respond to you.
And then he responded.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
And then that's the background between the Jonah Lucas and Skeptor B.
So whenever I listen to the snippet from Big Sean talking about how everything revolves around Drake,
he's just one of my favorite snippets of all time.
That's why I definitely got to find it.
Hold on.
I've said it too many times.
I got to find it.
Let me see, Big Sean.
So I think it should be right here.
or if it's not on drink champs then i'm not going to find it because i know exactly what it looks
like but i'm going through all these videos yeah that's fantastic i can't find it okay that's great
so anyways skeptic versus jrna lucas is not as exciting as you will hope so now when you look
at the rap battle in a totality standpoint not only is uk versus u.
the main talking point, but also people are saying that UK versus US is both zero for zero
because guess what? Don't nobody care.
You guys. See, that's the problem.
Except for me. So I'm gonna get my personal opinions about this particular rap battle.
So the main thing I want to let you know is I believe Jordan Lucas has a phenomenal pin.
I put up a lot of clips, which you should definitely follow my social media's, analytic dreams
with the Z to pull up my clips. But on whatever social
media platform. But specifically Instagram and TikTok, I've been putting up Jordana Lucas clips.
And people were saying that Jordan Lucas does not have a great pen. And I was thinking to myself,
when do we start saying that? Jordan Lucas literally was made fun of because you'll find the most
introspective way to talk about the most obvious situation. Like somebody said when a Will Smith
and Chris Rock slap happened, that Jonah Lucas could be the one to rap from the hands perspective.
But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
So when did we start discrediting Jordan Lucas pen?
Like, people make fun of it.
But I think it's also a little truth in there to let you know that's the level of intricacy
Jordan Lucas is able to dive into when he's putting his pen to work.
But maybe that's just me because obviously other people didn't feel like that.
So when it comes to Jordan Lucas versus Skepta, I'm going to say that I enjoy the back and forth.
I believe that when it comes to Drake,
and when it comes to him saying UK rappers are better than U.S.,
how is that the case when skepta, in my opinion, I'm going to keep saying that.
In my opinion, how is that the case when Jordan Lucas is wiping the floor with skeptic currently?
I believe Jordan Lucas is doing to Scepta with any top-tier lyricist in the U.S.
due to a UK rapper.
And that's just really how I feel.
So round two, I believe, went to Joanna Lucas as well.
It's 2-0 in my book as far as Joanna Lucas versus Skepta.
I spent the rest of this time looking for Big Sean just in case you all was wondering.
I still couldn't find it.
So anyways, with that being said, I don't know if Skeptor will respond.
If you don't know, he's set to perform.
actually he already did that okay so let me see yeah i really don't know what sceptin jrna lukas is up to
hopefully they put out music to capitalize off of this because i believe jrna lukas has an album out
i believe let me see oh he literally has an album titled adhd2 but that's interesting
and it's 18 tracks and length 57 minutes long so hey maybe this beef is doing something because i would
never known that so he just released that july uh 18th and then when it comes to skepta
skepta has put out round two as a single but as far as albums his last album was in
what in the world skepta's last album was in 2020 man did you retire like what what happened
how this man is what hold up hold up hold up hold up hold up i know that ain't who i think of
Is Skepta, the UK Kendrick, comes out five years later and just starts rap battles for no reason?
What's up with that?
What's up with people on hiatus?
Coming back into the game, drumming up controversy to get people to pay attention to them.
I don't think that's a great strategy, but, you know, that's whatever.
So, yeah, Skept, the last album was in 2020, what in the world?
And he's coming out talking about, oh, I'm still one of the top rappers.
I mean, I guess he's still been active as far as the singles perspective.
Yeah, he's definitely been active as far as a single's perspective, but as far as albums,
let me look at Jonah Lucas because I believe his was more consistent.
So if Jordan Lucas is in the gym, putting up way more shots than you,
and he's still a top-tier lyricist, in my opinion, why in the world would you pop out in a rap battle against him?
And then it's safe to say, Jordan Lucas is still 2-0 against Skeptus.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social media is.
What do you think about Jordan Lucas versus Skepta?
And at the end of the day, who do you think has came out on top in this rap battle as far as engagement and attention?
