We have to have a real discussion today, ladies and gentlemen, with a simple fact that one of the greatest ladies in the music industry consistently gets disrespected time and time again.
Now, I'm just going to say that Nikki Minaj is probably the most disrespected artists of all time.
And not only the most disrespectful artists of all time, but specifically the most,
disrespected artists of all time when it comes to the Grammys.
I'm being so serious when I say this.
If you look at the Grammy nominations,
album 3,000,
Andreth, album 3000, who is that?
Andre 3000's album consistently,
entirely made up, straight up instrumental based on flutes.
is nominated for album of the year.
Meanwhile, Nick and Minaj is Pink Friday 2,
which you can't even deny the fact that it was the most impactful album of last year
when it comes to the hip-hop community for the simple fact,
it debuted number one.
And as far as the actual first week numbers,
it had 228,000 first week sales.
Now, of course, I like the fact check over here.
So as far as Pink Friday 2,
I'm going to get to some other things,
but we just got to talk about like,
why is Nikki so disrespectful?
I'm going to get to the new release in the second.
So anyways, when it comes to Pink Friday 2 and Nikki Minaj,
I think my number is right, but I still want to make sure.
So let me see, let me see.
Okay, same.
Okay, yeah, 220.
thousand first week debuted number one as an album and as far as her tour had maybe the most successful
world tour in hip-hop history one of obviously not the most because i think that's like drake or
travis or maybe kendrick but anyways nicky's up there obviously if that's if we're talking about
you know the hierarchies of hip-hop and um for her to be consistently disrespected time and time again
I mean, usually I don't like to play the card often, but is it because she's a black woman?
Like, I really just got to understand where are we coming from as far as the denial of Nikki Minaj's statistical,
objective accomplishments in the music industry that obviously deserves to be recognized on the music's biggest stage as far as awarding musicians.
I mean, not only did debut at number one with $228,000 first week sales, not only did it have the most vinyl copies, meaning people were actually purchasing physical copies of her music, the most ever in the first week in first week history for a female rapper, right?
Not only did she go on an entire tour and have one of the largest hip-hop tours of all time.
but also just in general, streaming, she was consistently towards the top.
So I don't know what, as far as the eligibility period, which I talk about all the time,
this album was released December 8, 2023.
Now, that's in the midst of Grammy's eligibility period, which I find the eligibility,
because I want to get it correct.
So the Grammy 2025 award show.
There's a specific eligibility period and it runs through September 16,
2023 to August 30th, 2024.
Ladies and gentlemen, Pink Friday 2 came out December 8th,
2020.
Why am I spending so much time telling you that Nikki Minaj has been
disrespectful?
Because at some point, at some point, it just has to stop.
We cannot let our iconic music figures get disrespected without a
at least saying something.
I mean,
we already know a certain someone
that controls Super Bowl
entertainment activities
and is also having a very pivotal
impact on the Grammy nominations,
even though the artists may be deserving.
Jay-Z going on stage talking about how
Beyonce had the most nominations of any artists of all time,
but then she doesn't have an album of a year win.
And then,
lo and behold,
Beyonce's Cowboy Carter is nominated for Alamede year.
So not saying that Beyonce isn't deserving of it, of course.
I'm just saying that there's a certain someone that has a lot of power in the music industry.
And I'm not saying that, well, actually, I am saying, him and Nikki have beef.
I mean, that's just plain as day.
I don't think Nikki has beef with Beyonce.
I mean, I think she talks about all the time about her love for Beyonce.
But as far as her husband, I don't.
think nicky has any love for him and that could be the only reason to my estimation why she's so
disrespectful when it comes to the gramis because i do believe j z has a very pivotal role as far as
the selection of who gets picked obviously he's not the only person who votes but he makes a lot
of things move as far as influence and deservedly so i've always said j z's the best rapper of all
time like living like dead or alive so i don't even know a higher compliment to give a rapper
than that right but you have to take into account some of the other foul play that's going on
that he may be a part of so anyways that's why i say that nicky just know that of course like
drake said all these different award shows mean nothing when it comes to actually putting
butts and seats to specifically come see you.
So as far as an award show, it pales in comparison than having one of the most successful
hip-hop tours of all time.
World tours, mind you, of all time.
So anyways, Onika Tanya Mirage has spent much of the year touring for her album Pink Friday
2 and of course, as you prepare for the deluxe edition for Pink Friday 2, titled The Hiatus,
mind you, releasing December 13th, marking one year.
since the original album so it's more of an anniversary period which pink friday two is definitely deserving
of i'm on record saying last year that was my favorite album by far and to go even further i think
that's nicky's best album of all time which you know it's probably a mouthful it's probably a hot take
but hey i'm standing by it because i really enjoyed the album so anyways um the reason why
there's a lot of new music niki um messaging out there is for the simple fact
that she just put out a new track titled, All Girls Are the Same.
Now, where have we heard that before?
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, because another one of my favorite musicians in hip-hop
is getting more of a homage.
I think that's how you say it, from Nikki Minaj,
as of course, everybody knows that's Juice World's album,
as far as where the inspiration comes from.
So it's basically a sequel to Juice World's 2018 debut.
single featuring backing vocals by Haisley.
So obviously it's a tribute to Juice World.
So that's something of a tear jerker in itself for the simple fact that Pink Friday 2 came out
under Republic Records, a division of UMG recordings.
And if you look closely, the track from Juice World is under Grade A Productions.
And the reason for that, what I would guess is for the simple fact that Juice World was signed to grade A production.
So technically speaking, all of the proceeds from this could go to his estate as far as honoring his contribution to the hip hop culture, right?
Because if it wasn't, then I think Republic would be under this distribution label as well.
But since it's under Great A Productions that Juice World was signed under,
One can only assume that all of the proceeds is intentionally being sent towards Juice World's estate.
So obviously it's a marketing strategy, but just on a human level, seems like a really honorable thing to do for an artist as an iconic as Nicky Minaj to put out this track under Juice World's label so that it allows for the benefits.
to go his way.
So anyways, that's another accomplishment for Nikki.
You know, wonder if the Grammys will acknowledge that one.
Probably not.
So anyways, let alone it be in the tribute, obviously Nikki is getting her bars off.
I mean, top tier lyrics is top 10 of all time dead or alive.
So as far as, you know, her raps, you already know they're consistently quality level
and I already listen to the track.
And guess what?
It's straightfire.
I mean, it's juice world on Nikki.
I remember when Nikki was on.
on the Juice World and Future collab album.
And I was so upset that Juice World wasn't on that track.
I think it was called Transformers.
It was Transformer.
So the Future and Juice World album that came out, October 19, 2018 had a track title, Transformer featuring Nikki Minaj.
And guess what? Juice World wasn't on the track.
But, you know, I was a little let down by that fact, but Nikki went
absolutely ballistic on the entire track i mean talk about a verse i mean she really puts these
rappers to shame i mean you listen to nicky you listen to an m&m i mean you really realize that
these rappers just don't care no more you realize that putting words together it's just not the highest
of priority right when nicky raps when m&M raps you get to you get a sense that you know maybe
hip hop has fell off a little bit so anyways um that's why she's top 10 dead her a lot so anyways um
as far as the tribute to Juice Whirl, obviously is honoring his legacy.
Little Bibby has stated that he approximately has 3,000 unreleased tracks.
I mean, goodness, that's a lot.
So we don't know how that's going to culminate into albums.
But I do believe that, yeah, okay, so the pre-party EP was released in October 24.
That was, they had tracks featuring, that had tracks like light years.
and then that track was featuring Young Thug.
And of course he had another track titled Both Ways.
And then, oh, the final.
Okay, because I was wondering, you know,
it was pushing his music for a little bit.
I don't care if he has 3,000 unreleased tracks
if y'all can't five, 12 good ones, right?
So anyways, his final post-Hummus album,
The Party Never Ends, is slated for release on November 29th.
2024 so uh with this track with niki i mean it's gonna be a pretty good um alley upe for
jew swirls estate to capitalize uh when it comes to the party never ends release when it comes
out november 29th twenty 24 so with that being said um if you don't know about juice
world and nicky this is not just some type of monetary play for niki or some type of oh feel
sorry for me play for niki juice world niki did have a relationship
before not like you know cordial relationship for the crazy people out there as far as uh when he
was alive and uh they co-headlined the 2019 niki world tour across europe which was juice
world's first large-scale stadium experience that's like that's sort of like what uh drake did for
a set rocky and uh white tank top but you know they just turned it back on but you know it's
whatever you know me help somebody and they stab me in the back right so juice
ended up not stabbing Nikki in the back, you know, thank the Lord.
I mean, what type of, I don't know, what type of entitlement do people have nowadays
get put on by somebody in and completely turn on them?
Anyways, that's besides the point.
So, yeah, Nikki took Juice World on stage, of course, for the World Tour.
And then, oh, I forgot about that track.
A very, very underrated track by Nikki, Juice World and Yontha is a track.
titled money when i thought like if i was a bed man i would have thought that song would have
thought that song would have ran 2023 i don't know how that track came and went um respectfully
of course because you know nicky they're going to do their uh numbers regardless but as far as
chart topping like billboard top 100 consistently for like weeks on weeks i thought this was
going to be a hit money is a straight up anthem only person have to blame for that i'm not going to lie to you
I feel like Young Thug did the same thing he did to money
what he did to Drake and Futures
Too Sexy Track
I don't know what it is about people who punch in, punch out
but it really irritates me
whenever the verse is trash, but they want to keep it.
Like you punch in, punch out,
and at the end of the verse is completely garbage
and now you just want to keep the entire thing.
Like, hold up, my brother.
Did you not just, we not just, like,
we ain't just hear the same thing?
Like, you ain't, you're not really saying anything.
Like, you just,
That's what you want.
And he kept it.
So that's why Young Thug's verse is my least favorite off of money
and off of the two sexy track with Drake and Future.
That's why I bring that track up because that's what reminds me of.
The whole track is just straight, Frego.
And then Young Thug comes on saying, God knows what.
Like, I don't even think that's audible.
I don't even think you could put closed captions on that.
So anyways, yeah, that track is phenomenal.
One of the most underrated tracks of 2023 when it comes to the show.
track money. What else? So yeah, Nikki and Juice World definitely they've already had tracks together.
Nikki also paid tribute to Juice Whirl at the Billboard Women and Music event. I don't know when
that happened. Oh, following his death. Oh, okay. Yeah, okay. And if you don't know about this track that
they just released as far as it be in playoff of all girls are the same. Um, Juice World, basically,
basically had about like eight time platinum like something insane juice world was man
rest of piece of juice world he was really a force to be reckoned with him and xxxentacion and pop
smoke like they really were the they really were uh next up unfortunate but anyways um
i forgot what i was saying oh yeah uh juice world eight time platinum and basically all girls
are the same became a staple in his uh
trajectory of course because a lot of fans really enjoyed that album so it's nice to see fans
celebrating niki paying homage to um juice world and overall i just hope at some point you know
nicky stops getting disrespecting in general you know what i mean i mean i don't know what it is but
somebody just has to point out like what could be like it's like that boondocks mean what could she have
done to make them people that mad and with that click my link tree in my bio let me know one of
my social medias what do you think about niki menages um all girls are the same too with a juice world
and also don't forget juice worlds the party never ends is coming out november 29 2024 and
of course the anniversary of pink friday to the hiatus is coming out december 13th 2024
