Starting point is 00:00:00 The ultimate conversation of leaked music and how this comeabouts and how it tends to time and time again keep happening to prominent artists who not only may not be around anymore, but it can also lead to possible revenue for the person who's leaking it. Now, of course, I'm talking about Juice World and the track that leaked titled started up because of there be no ultimate way to prevent music from leaking that i can as far as me personally i can't think of anything that would just ultimately stop your music from leaking i can't say that there are certain ways that a lot of artists use uh recording sessions and strict rules to keep it from leaking which is having it on a hard drive which i don't know why but you know
Starting point is 00:01:00 Sometimes hard drives get mixed up and stuff, which may not be the best advice. But having it on a hard drive, so you're taking your music with you, wherever you're going and making sure that whoever holds and handles your hard drives are trustworthy. Because most times from what I've heard is producers is a very collaborative process when making beats. Sometimes they've got to hear certain things and may get into the hands of somebody who may not have the best of intent. and now your music is out there for the world to hear when you projected this track to be like the lead single for your album. So what I'm thinking is happening now is because of Juice World being passed away and post-Hummus music from his camp slowing up, people are resorting to leaking music time and time again. And now we're back again with their track title started up by Juice World. And I don't really have a problem with
Starting point is 00:02:02 with fans wanting music from an artist that may not be here anymore because the estate may not feel like the music is ready. Like, of course, as a fan of an artist that passed away, I could see how that could be hard. And you could want music from that particular artist. It's not here anymore and his estate is not putting it out. So you can resort to drastic measures. I could see how that could be a thought process. but doesn't make it right, of course not. So that's what I'm condemning is the fact that all of these leakers, hackers,
Starting point is 00:02:39 going in leaking and putting out illegal copies of started up by Juice World, it's just very interesting to say at least because the way that I think of it, right, is would you want somebody to leak your hard work for free? You probably wouldn't. You probably would want to be paid. from something that you're accustomed to getting paid for. That's like showing up to work, you working for a certain amount of hours,
Starting point is 00:03:12 and then your boss is like, hey, you know what? We're not going to pay you because you just gave your hours and added it on to somebody else's one of your coworkers' hours. So we're going to pay them a little bit more and not pay you. Extreme example, I know. But basically, you're taking money out of somebody's pockets that could otherwise use that opportunity to generate more revenue for whoever owns his estate
Starting point is 00:03:35 because the juice world estate is not juice world like it's his estate is his family, relatives whoever is under that they're the ones profiting off of that revenue so
Starting point is 00:03:50 when Kanye said on Donda just for my kids kids kids kids kids kids basically he's saying all of the royalties and money that comes in after the fact because music one of my favorite things about it is it lasts way longer than your lifespan would be. So if this man can't use this unreleased music to further his parents, relatives, cousins, careers,
Starting point is 00:04:23 and what they want to do based on the revenue that he's bringing in, now it's taken away because people want to leak his music. It's basically why I'm getting. to people want to leak his music leading to drastic measures having to be taken have to having to be put in place by people like what's his name nudgee herboh i think it's bibby yeah little bibby because juice world's under little bibby's label i believe so bibby now has to be more sparse about the amount of tracks he's putting out because it may not be as many in the unreleased juice world vault that uh that fans will hope so anyways hopefully you get what i'm saying about the whole league situation it's a very interesting
Starting point is 00:05:16 conversation because on one hand fans of a musician you know they go to certain lengths they go to certain lengths to certain lengths to get music at the end of the day you know i could resort to legal action and stuff but you know i'm at the police so i'll let them figure that out so anyways click my link to bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about leaked music in general and also which side are you on the artist or the fan side when it comes to leaking music
