Starting point is 00:00:00 So if you didn't know, Juice World is back again with a new single called The Light. And let me tell you, it's a very, very welcome change from a lifelong, from a, yeah, probably lifelong. Because anyways, let me chill. Uh, yeah, a longtime fan of Juice World. Let me just say that. As a lot of tracks, a lot of singles that have been picked for Juice World has been very negative. There's been a lot of him talking about his pill addiction, of course, because, you know, he was very transparent, which is something I respect from any artist. My favorite artists of all time, I feel like, for me, you know, I never know what's going on behind the scenes.
Starting point is 00:00:43 But I gravitate to the artist where I feel like their actual life reflects in there, or their music reflects their actual life. And non-law-abiding hip-hop artists, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about people who like talk about love, heartbreak, stuff like that. I mean, if you talk about what you actually live through, like, 50 cents, like, I'm not mad at it. But if you're like perpetuating violence, I'm not really for that. Like, Little Dirk's not my favorite artist. Young boys not my favorite artist. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:01:13 I'm more of a Drake, Juice Whirl type fan, Rod Wave type fan. You know what I mean? So anyways, with that being said, um, Juice World is back again with, uh, another post hummus offering from his estate called Delight. and I think Little Baby said that this is his last post hummus album, which I don't know if he's pulling a Van Diesel and just telling us that just to put out another one. But they did say it will be his last body of work to be released. So that's a pretty big deal because at first I thought they was just going to milk this until he stopped selling, which it seems like he's not going to stop selling anytime soon.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Because if you look it up, Juice World just surpassed like 500. thousand album sales like equivalent album sales for all his music uh for for 2023 so it's like people who still live putting outselling juice world so it's like you would think they would have just kept going to that number like doing dude off but i guess with the backlash of his last post hummus album which people say you know just it's blatant just oh they had a gap so they just filled it with a feature type tracks so now they're like okay well this is going to be our last post hummus offering for jrude Whirl. And do I believe that for one second? Not at all. I think Little Baby, little baby, I think Little Baby make money off a Juice World because if you don't know, Bibby manages Juice World. He also manages
Starting point is 00:02:43 Kilroy, I believe. Maybe not anymore because, you know, Killarroy is at the point where he could probably renegotiate that contract. But he definitely manages Juice World to the point where his estate is working with him to release his post-hom his offer. So it's not like BB is forcing them to because he can't. I mean, he passed away. But also, if they are going to release it, then he'll get a good portion of that pie. Let's just say that. So it's in his best interest for Juice World to keep dropping.
Starting point is 00:03:14 So with that being said, let me get into the quote from Little Bibby talking about this album saying, quote, we want this album to feel like a celebration slash party. Let's celebrate the life of Juice World. No more mourning. I want everyone that Juice loved while he was here to celebrate, especially his fans who he loved. You guys have been the best fans and artists can have, minus the death threats to Bibby. He just had to throw that in there. I'm not going to complain, but I just say this is not easy.
Starting point is 00:03:47 We miss you. We love you till the world ends. So it's sentimental, ain't it? It's almost like this man makes money off of. Juice World's music. It's crazy. But anyways, so yeah, the death threats to Bibby is a little far, you know what I mean? But Juice World fan base, hey, let me just say, it's one of them. Juice World was him and his fan bases is one of them type of fan bases that could have evolved into some even greater if he didn't pass away so soon, you know? So I think in general with
Starting point is 00:04:20 Juice World, I don't really think this post-Hummus album is going to be like fire. I think it's going to be solid but i think we're just so deep into the post hummus bag at this point like there's only so much unreleased music you can start to put on this post hummus albums until it starts to lose uh cohesion you know um what else there's something else i want to get into now i think that's pretty much it it's not really too much to get into the track i enjoy because of the lighthearted nature him just talking about love and i mean it's called the light and i mean it is talk about you know him fighting demons and stuff and it surprisingly has a clean version but for the most part it's definitely not like the subject matter is not as clean as you may hope but i mean it is juice swirls at the end of day
Starting point is 00:05:11 if he's not talking about you know taking too many pills or you know overdosing with with drugs and you know i'm all for it like a positive message and a single is a nice change of pace for otherwise what they would put as far as why he died in the first place. Just his pill addition all throughout his singles. So, I mean, just listen to Legends Never Die. I mean, some of the singles they chose for that album, which is what's the word, eerily? I think it's eerily similar to how he died.
Starting point is 00:05:46 It's kind of crazy. So, yeah, that's kind of a morbid note to end off on. So let's just say the light is a possible. positive single that's uplifting. So let's, you know, let's focus on that. The light is actually an uplifting track that Lil Bibi is promoting as a single for his latest album that reportedly, supposedly wink, wink, little baby, little Bibi said is the last post hummus offering that they will give from Juice Whirl. So click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about Juice Whirl and his latest post hummus single called The Light?
Starting point is 00:06:24 And do you think this will actually end up being his last post hummus album?
