Starting point is 00:00:00 I want to start off by saying that Jung Cook is basically the most popular artists in K-pop history. So with that being said, all of these popular artists coming to attach themselves, whether they have a name or not, attaching themselves to Jung Cook is very culturevotra-esque, but I'm going to allow it because obviously it's working. I mean, first you had Lotto, then you had Jack Harlow, now you have Centracy and the Kid LaRoy, but this is all based off the fact that Junk Cook is basically putting up numbers that I don't even know of Big Hit Entertainment, which is the major label that they're under. I don't even know if they projected this as Junk Cook is the first K-pop soloist in history, like ever. To debut multiple singles within the top 10 of Billboard Top Top.
Starting point is 00:00:58 100 so with that being said this man is putting up numbers like he's Michael Jordan in 96 97 he's putting up numbers that bt s with certain tracks wasn't putting up whenever they debuted them as far as a single but junk cook had back-to-back top five singles if that's not crazy i don't know what it is because no artists that i've seen has done that but besides the Taylor Swift's of the world, the bad bunnies of the world. I mean, the ones that when they drop albums, of course, they're going to have their tracks in the top five because their whole album's going to take it up because their fan base is just that massive.
Starting point is 00:01:41 But with John Cook being a part of BTS, branching off to have a solo career, and now having back-to-back top five singles with Lotto, with the track 7 featuring Lotto at number one. having number five the 3D track with Jack Harlow that is insane but this segment is specifically about this too much track which that's what is titled is titled too much so kidleroy and Central C saw the numbers that this man was putting up and it was like why not attach ourselves to this man because he is on fire to say he's on a hot streak is an understatement so So the killer Roy, Junk Cook, and Central C are teaming up for a new single titled Too Much,
Starting point is 00:02:33 and the single is set to be released October 20th. And the collaboration, of course, brings together a whole different, vastly different demographic because you have people from Australia, people from the United Kingdom, and people from South Korea. So on paper, this should be bigger than seven and three years. but as the music industry goes, that is not guaranteeing you a hit. People have played on the numbers so many times to think they have a bona fide hit and then realize that you can never really call what's going to be number one.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Forget number one. What's going to be on the Billboard Top 100? You can never really specifically just pinpoint two artists that are going to stick. And keyword is stick because I bring up the Cardi B and Megan the Stallion Bongo's track because that on paper should have been still top five as of this day. But it's currently fell off the face of the earth when it comes to the top 50 billboard charts. So that being said, this track is going to be a part of the Kid LaRoy. So the Kid Leroy's upcoming debut studio album, which I don't know if it's debut.
Starting point is 00:03:54 They throw those studio albums like during the. midst of a contract. So I don't know how many albums this man has out currently. I know it's not his debut. But so first time is expected, his album first time by the killer Roy is expected to release in November and a teaser music video of too much. It's set to come out, well, it should be already out. And then Junk Cook had a successful year of the charts. I already talked about that. John Cook is also set to release his solo album Golden in November. If that's not going to top the charts, I don't know what it is. It may be another case of Doja Cat where they like the singles more than they actually
Starting point is 00:04:30 like the entire album or body of work, but we have to wait and see because, of course, this and its entirety, Junk Cook has had when it comes to singles the best year in hip-hop. strictly singles statistics, Junk Cook has outperformed everybody. So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about this track between Junkuk, Central C and the kidd of Roy? And do you think that this track too much would be fire or trash when it eventually comes out October 20th?
