Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, of course, when it comes to the Latin community, when it comes to the Latin field, there's a lot of artists and of course a lot of listeners of the masses that of that are influenced by one another to the point where when you come to a notorious mass effect and realize who's putting out the highest music specifically in Mexico, specifically worldwide. I am here to break it all down as to why because when it comes to junior. H specifically and his track Ecstasy model which is a phenomenal name mind you like as far as the hip hop sometimes you get certain track titles I'd be like there is no way they use more to one brain cell to come up with this track title but I love to see junior H actually making such an intricate title because the ecstasy model to me in my opinion is a fire title but anyways but that out the way you know that was just just a minor compliment because we're going to get into a lot more as when it comes to his specific track xdc model it just made the charts as the 48th most played track in mexico and at first glance
Starting point is 00:01:16 you're probably thinking to yourself what in the world is junior age doing putting out a track that's only the 48th most played song in mexico and then you realize then you realize Ladies and gentlemen, this track came out February 11th, 2022. It is 2025. So safe to say that that's a phenomenal accomplishment, especially showcasing why I keep saying time and time again that if you are a real artist that want people to tune into your music, you have to showcase the effort and use TikTok.
Starting point is 00:01:57 That's literally it. You know what I'm saying? But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Because if you make a song and put it out in 2022, and then you come to realize that the day these streams are increasing, but not only are they increasing,
Starting point is 00:02:12 you kind of realize that TikTok is not only, is amplifying its reach once you look at the analytics, especially if people are doing dance challenges and things of that nature to go viral. So now you're looking at TikTok once again bringing a track. Not, it wasn't necessarily. necessarily dead, but bringing it back to life as far as in the in the current landscape of music consumption in the top 50 in Mexico as Ecstasy model being the 48th most played track in Mexico, being that it was released in 2022. That's a phenomenal accomplishment.
Starting point is 00:02:46 It just showcases how pivotal it is to use TikTok as an artist if you want to be taken seriously in the grand scheme of the marketing factors. So anyways, when it comes to junior age, I've already covered him a lot of times over the podcast, like more times than I can count. Like, it's been so many times I've covered junior age. And with that being said, the first time I covered him was back in 2023 when Pacea Pluma and Junior Age put out track title Luna. So for one, you know, shout out to a little longevity. But you know, also that's just, you know, just a little two years, you know, as far as the podcast, you know, it's been around since 2020. But this ain't about me. That ain't even about me.
Starting point is 00:03:25 So that being said, let's get back into junior age. So with junior age, right, everybody knows his rise to fame. If you don't, he began making, he began making music when he was 17. And his breakout hit was Noe a combiado. And it was from his debut album, Me, Vita, N. Un Cigaro. Back in 2019, they hit 2 million views in two months. And now currently, he is signed by Jimmy Humilde, of Rancho, who male day back in 2020 and of course if you go to actually let me go to his latest album so if you go
Starting point is 00:04:04 to junior h's latest album which his last album came out i just covered his album that's crazy oh no actually i didn't that's a single i'm tripping all right 2023 was his last album sad boys for life i was looking at one of his singles but that came out october 5th 2023 and that was well still under rancho mail day distributed by Warner Music Latina because if you don't know one thing I do say all the time when it comes to me covering other genres is that people in the US are definitely paying attention and they are trying to assimilate with the greatest efficiency and how do they do that by getting you on board so Warner Sony UMG I don't know how I almost forgot them they have specific divisions in certain regions to get those specific artists to cross over
Starting point is 00:04:55 because if you don't know, RIAA needs a certain amount of units sold to even be accounted for a certification if you're from a, if you're outside of America. So call it what you want. You know, I would not disagree with you. That's a little unfair, but, you know, that's what they're dealing with. So that's why there's different subsidiaries specifically focus on Latin musicians. So with that being said, that's basically it. Just wanted to get into how junior age is still putting up phenomenal numbers.
Starting point is 00:05:23 he's doing incredible on the charts. He currently has four tracks in the top 50 as far as Mexico being considered. Yeah, I was looking as far as worldwide. But yeah, so only in Mexico specifically, he's top in the charts as far as his most successful is one I've already covered as far as Mientras, Dumaris. And that's the 29th most played track in the world. Then you have Y Loro, which is the 43 most played track in the world currently. Well, I keep saying the world in Mexico. So, Mientres du Hermes, that's the 29th most played track in Mexico.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Why, Lurro is the 43 most played track in Mexico. Five to seven is the 44th most played track in Mexico. And of course, his fourth track in the top 50, Ecstasy model, which is, you know, impressively enough was released in 2022. That ended up, but that is currently the 48. the most played track in Mexico so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media's what do you think about ecstasy model and on a broader spectrum what do
Starting point is 00:06:33 you think about junior age's current status in the latin music industry
