Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, of course, getting into an artist that I've covered before on this podcast time and time again. And that's, of course, the immensely talented Callie Oochus, as my first coverage of this particular artist happened back on March 3rd, 2023 when I covered Red Moon and Venus. Now, of course, with that particular offering, it was a 15-track album. and it featured artists like Omar Apollo, Don Tolliver, right, and Summer Walker. And then of course, it was led by the singles, I wish you roses and moonlight. But with that being said, the main reason I wanted to highlight that is because I'm a huge fan of Calli Uch's music and she's back once more with an offering leading up to her next project as far as. sincerely set to be released May 9th 2025 now my latest coverage of Kelly Uches was the track sincerely when I covered that March 28th 2025 as far as
Starting point is 00:01:13 getting into her rollout but one of the main things you need to know about Kelly Uch's is that she has broken a lot of records and is really a pathfinder as far as for her particular genre and what she means to her specific specific region as when it comes to Callie Uches and her success you have to realize that she is the first Spanish language album she has the first Spanish language album by female artists ever to top this chart as far as in the modern era when talking about how Bad Bunny being the only other artists with the Spanish language number one debut now the album I'm talking about is Orkittus right and I remember covering that back when i cover that i covered that back in january 12th 2024 as when arcadus came out right
Starting point is 00:02:08 and it debuted at number two with 69 000 equivalent album units you probably won into yourself well who was popular enough to overtake the number one spot right when callie oochish dropped well i'm glad you asked abraham himself abraham joseph himself a k a 21 savage was the one who topped the charts on that particular week as American Dream debuted at number one with a 133,000 first album equivalent units in the first week. And of course, Calli Uchis or Kidas came in at number two as far as 69,000 units. But the main thing I wanted to point out was just the dominance as far as what she represents in the amount of numbers that she drives as far as engagement. Because this is not a normal things, especially with people creating the Spanish type albums. Like,
Starting point is 00:02:59 I said bad bunny and cali ozsche's are the only artist to ever have a spanish language album go number one as far as when you're talking about overall physical units but in totality 21 savage was number one right so getting back into the physical copies right 20 000 vinyl copies for a or cadis was the largest week for a Spanish language album ever since luminant began tracking in 1991 the reason telling you these analytics is because the notorious mass effect of Calla Ooch's cannot be understated and underestimated because she's one of the more impactful artists, especially when she's diving into just her culture and now she's diving more into her family life and her motherhood as his latest track titled I-L-Y-N- Oh, I can't, I-L-Y-S-M-I-H.
Starting point is 00:03:59 That's literally what the track is title. So I'm not giving an acronym. And so the track is title is I-L-Y-S-M-I-H, which I'm pretty sure is, I love you so much. I don't know what I-H is. Maybe it's the name of the child. I don't know. I'm just guessing. Maybe I could be completely off.
Starting point is 00:04:13 But as far as the track is out now on all DSPs, and this is her diving into her motherhood and profound love for her child, as this is the rollout that she's using as far as deep-diving, giving us an introspective look into her life. As far as this being the single or the sex. second single for her upcoming album sincerely that set to release May 9th, 2025. So of course, this is more of an intimate reflection so we don't know how this album is going to sound entirely. But as far as Sunshine and Rain, as far as the I-L-Y-S-M-I-H track, which is crazy to say
Starting point is 00:04:46 out loud again and again, but hey, nonetheless, I am doing it. You know what I mean? So when it comes to those two particular tracks and then me covering sincerely, which is the album, but I was basically letting people know that the album is coming out. May 9th because that's a huge deal, right? You have to realize that at this point in time, she already gave birth, right, to her son. And if you don't know, she had a son with Don Tolliver. Now, y'all probably know about Don Tolliver, especially if you follow the podcast.
Starting point is 00:05:16 I've covered him extensively as far as Don Tolliver and the Jay Hope track that came out this year, titled LV Bag. I really like that track. That track is phenomenal. And then, of course, Don Tolliver's album, Hardstone Psycho, this is very much a power couple in my opinion now it's not the it may be like the jZ and biance just in different regions it's probably respected as a jz and biance but you know in totality it's you know people probably think it's blasphemous for me to even compare it to but um let's just
Starting point is 00:05:45 say these two are a great couple as far as the musical offering and them being able to make phenomenal music together while also having their own lives and their own business ventures by themselves right it reminds me a Sean and Janae I Ako maybe that's a better comparison as far as just two dynamic personalities coming together being a superpower couple while also being able to stand on their own artistry and put out albums by themselves that engage and affect the masses so the reason why I wanted to let y'all know that is because it's a huge deal May 9th is going to definitely be an event as her last album almost when number one you know shout out to Abraham for coming in and blocking it like LeBron and the finals, right?
Starting point is 00:06:30 He was definitely, he definitely upset. A lot of fans with him taking the number one slot. But this time, I don't know what competition she would have on May 9th, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. But as far as the album, as far as a single leading up to the album, I-L-Y-S-M-I-H is out now on all DSPs leading up to the album. So click my link to your bio. Let me know on one of my social medias.
Starting point is 00:06:52 What do you think about the pack that Cali-U-Tri just put out with Sunshine and Rain in I-L-Y-S-M-H? and which one was your favorite and are you excited for kelly ooch's album sincerely that's set to come out may 9th 2025
