Starting point is 00:00:00 Y'all should keep in mind that Kali Uchis has 36 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and that's just Spotify platform alone, which puts her at 96 as far as most popular on the Spotify platform. So with that being said, of course, when she puts out her album, Orquita's, her fourth studio album, and hopefully I'm pronouncing the album title, right? If not, then I'm acknowledging my ignorance because I'm trying my best. So anyways, basically her showcasing her blending of genres trying to break down the stereotypes for this album. Kana implements a standard for younger musicians in the Latin community inspired by her musical creation and her willingness to push the boundaries and not be complacent and satisfied with the status quo. because you know how easy it is for an artist like Calli Uch's to basically keep making the same music in the Latin field
Starting point is 00:01:01 and keep getting the world-wide praise from people that she doesn't even know and just go about her day. But no, she decides to push the status quo, bring a span of R&B, Marengay, I think that's how he said, dream pop, regga tone, and Dembo. Which, of course, everybody knows Dembo because for some reason,
Starting point is 00:01:29 it's been popular in the past a year or two. Actually, last year, I think we have to blame Y'allin for that. But anyways, so with that being said, and don't ask me how I know her. Callie Uches emphasizes a lot of things when it comes to making music in her field. And for this to be the focus for Orquitas,
Starting point is 00:01:49 I think that she will probably accomplish that goal as I swear, hey, I kid you not. A lot of cult-like fan bases are coming together trying to have mass streaming parties, basically trying to keep their respective artists on the charts because they know that Callie Uches is coming, they know that 21 Savage is coming, Kit Cuddies, he may be coming, I don't know, no disrespect,
Starting point is 00:02:11 but I'm just, I have to see it before I believe it, especially in this day and time, you know, times have changed. But of course, Ariana Grande, with her single, that's definitely going to impact the charts at least top 10. So, safe to say, a lot of music is going to be getting booted out of the top 50. And Kali Uchis will be a part of pushing them out of the top 50, which deservedly so. If you have that type of massive fan base that will support you to the end of the earth, then, hey, keep pulling out music because guess what, they're going to keep supporting it.
Starting point is 00:02:46 So the biggest thing you need to know is that the Kali Uchchran. new album or Qaeda's is out now and that you should click my links to you in my bio and let me know one of my social media is what is your favorite track off of the Kali Uch's new album, Arkitas?
