Starting point is 00:00:00 Getting into Callie Uch's single for her album sincerely that just covered previously, Sunshine and Rain being her single for this album is letting you know that on the forefront, even though she is known for more of an R&B, soul type of blend, and of course she's from the Latin community, so a lot of Latin influences are incorporating into her music. And if you didn't know, for the 35% of my audience as far as the women, You know, they probably want to know about the relationship side of things, right? Her partner, Don Tolliver, they have a child. They welcome their first child.

Starting point is 00:00:35 So as far as the parasocial relationship that a lot of people have with their favorite musicians, they're probably scouring the internet to find any and every reason Don Tolliver should or should not be with Callie Uch's because she is a big deal in the music industry. If you didn't know, she has her own company as far as Callie Uch's LLC, but she is under the big dog, UMG. So when it comes to this single, I do predict that it's going to have an immense impact on the charts. And to be pun intended, it's going to have a notorious mass effect on the entire landscape of music. Because whenever she puts out this album, May 9th, I think it's going to have a great impact on her, not only her fan base, but just the support is going to be immense because now post-giving birth to your first child, I think your fans are going to be more engaged. to see what you have to say about their process because now singing about your life in the way that

Starting point is 00:01:31 she does and just having music surrounding your life i think it's going to have more of an effect on her supporters because now they're tying that to her giving birth last year to her first son and they're expecting that type of music to be incorporated those type of story elements to be incorporated into her future music so that being said sunshine and rain being her single for her album sincerely that's coming out May 9th, 2025 is going to be a big deal. And of course, with my coverage of Callie Utre's multiple times on this podcast, basically talking about how she is probably one of the more prominent artists in the Latin community as whenever she put out her biggest hit telepathia, I still, I feel like I'm still mispronouncing that, but telepathia, hopefully I'm

Starting point is 00:02:22 i'm saying it right from sin meando uh del armor y otros demo neos and back in 2020 that particular track piqued at number 25 but more specifically and more importantly it went number one on hot latin songs and what was the biggest factor of it going number one back then of course ticto when i say that tic talk is one of the most important tools for a musician if you're not using tic tic tic tic as a musician and you want to be taken serious as far as the landscape of engaging music, I don't think you are using all of the tools available to become a successful artist. Because literally, when it comes to TikTok, all you have to do is put a snippet up, put a song up, and it doesn't matter a week later, a month after.

Starting point is 00:03:19 If somebody grabs it and it goes viral, it's going to be like, you released a track that day that's how impactful TikTok is and for calli uches is no different as when telepatiah came out it was immensely celebrated on tic talk to the point where it went number one a hot latin song so that's a lot of impact even years after or weeks after right it doesn't matter when you release it but it does matter putting it out on tictock because it's a very very organic marketing tool that is out here competing with the life sucks of major conglomerates such as a UMG, a Warner, and a Sony. So with that being said, the main thing I wanted to get across is that sunshine and rain is now out on DSPs as a single for her album sincerely.

Starting point is 00:04:04 When it comes to the release day, she has let us know that sincerely is coming on May 9th, 2025. When it comes to her relationship with Don Tolliver, hopefully the 35% of my audience enjoyed me breaking that down as far as them having more of a private relationship. but it seems more serious than other PR stunts as far as relationships. It seems like this is, I'm not saying it's like completely organic because obviously we don't know these people, but you know, from face value, having children together, I think it's a big deal, right? So I think they're pretty serious with having this relationship. And they've even appeared at multiple events like the 2022 Grammys and supported each other

Starting point is 00:04:44 throughout the entire career. And the overall dynamic of their relationship being private, but still them have. having immensely successful careers independently is just phenomenal. Like I don't even know. Hold on. Let me see. Does Callie Uches and Don Tolliver even have tracks together? Callie Uchis.

Starting point is 00:05:04 Don, oh, they do. Okay. So they have drugs and hella melodies, okay? For me. Okay, that's another track. Fantasy. Okay, so they have like three tracks.

Starting point is 00:05:15 Okay, that makes sense. That makes sense. You know, they're definitely vibing in the studio, amongst other things. But anyways, with that being said, I think this album is going to be phenomenal. I've covered Callie Uch's a plethora of times. I've never been disappointed as far as her offering. I've really enjoyed the music.

Starting point is 00:05:31 Even if I can't understand the lyrics, I look for great sonics and great song structure, if I can't understand the words, right?
